Attitude Toward Israel

Attitude Toward Israel
By Dennis Huebshman

Zechariah 12:2-3, “Behold, I am about to make Jerusalem a cup of staggering to all the surrounding peoples. The siege of Jerusalem will also be against Judah. (3) On that day, I will make Jerusalem a heavy stone for all the peoples. All who lift it will surely hurt themselves. And all the nations of earth will gather against it.” (emphasis mine)

It’s amazing that with all the attacks by outside forces (Hamas, Hezbollah and others), Israel is the one blamed by the rest of the world as being the troublemaker. Today, the only reason Israel is receiving support from America is because of our current President. The previous administration went out of the way to “snub” Israel, and even sent billions of dollars in cash to Israel’s enemies. This should have been considered a criminal act, but our congress just looked the other way.

Going to Genesis 12:3, God told Abraham in a very well-known verse, “I will bless those who bless you, and him who dishonors you, I will curse, and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” When God makes an “I Will” statement, it’s a covenant that He will not break – Ever!

During the previous administration, America was on a downward spiral. The economy was in terrible shape, and our industries were losing ground rapidly. Unemployment was approaching an all-time high, and there appeared to be no relief in sight. Other nations began to see us as weak, as our last president claimed he was sorry for our being such a great nation, and he made apologies that were degrading to us. There were obvious moves to take Christianity out of America, and to lean toward Islam, and any other religion that didn’t include Jesus.

Then, the election took place, and the “favorite” candidate lost. I believe it was God’s way to give us another chance as that candidate would have just continued with previous policies that would have completed our fall.

As is, our current President has shown favor to Israel by recognizing Jerusalem as its capital, and also the “Golan” as belonging to Israel. He has made known He loves the Jewish people, and that they are our allies. With this in mind, what’s been happening in America? Economy is stronger, other countries have a new respect for us, unemployment is at an all-time low; and this has taken place in spite of the far-left liberals challenging every move President Trump makes

I don’t know how much longer the Father will allow us to continue, because in spite of our recovery, there’s a huge movement to take America down from inside. As told in 2 Peter 3:9, God is being patient, not wanting us to fail, but to come to repentance. However, 2 Peter 3:10 will kick in soon, and His wrath will come.

Israel will be the main focus after the “fullness of the Gentiles” takes place. (Romans 11:25) When the fullness happens, God will focus on Israel, even though the majority will go into the Tribulation. All the Messianic Jewish people will have been caught up with all the other “true believers”, when Jesus calls us Home. (Rapture)

In the meantime, outside forces will continue to attack Israel, even though Israel strikes back with deadly accuracy. Just recently, over 700 rockets were fired at Israel causing some damage, and sadly, the loss of 4 lives. Israel retaliated hitting over 300 sites where the rockets were fired from. They also were able to identify and eliminate some key people that were involved in coordinating the attacks. Needless to say, the faux news groups made very little, if any, positive comments about Israel on this. It was noted by one source, the rockets fired against Israel were Russian-made.

One thing that was reported to the anti-Jewish league of nations; one of the rockets misfired and fell short killing a Palestinian pregnant woman and some children around her. The terrorists that fired that rocket actually blamed Israel for her death, and as usual, the world group agreed.

Israel acts to defend and protect Her people, yet they are accused of being the aggressor. They are in their “God-given” land, but are called “occupiers”. It has been said, if Israel’s enemies would lay down their weapons, there would be no more war. However, if Israel would lay down their weapons, there would be no more Israel.

Other nations have come right out and said Israel and all Jews world-wide should be eliminated. There have even been maps made that do not have Israel on them. Jewish people are being persecuted all over the world, including in America. They are returning to Israel (Aliyah) in record numbers. They are welcomed there, and also anyone else who wants to move there and live in peace with the Jewish peoples.

Jesus knew there would be a falling away (Matthew 24:10-11), and He knew the majority of the Jewish people would not believe in Him. At this time, approximately 1% – 2% of all Jewish people are Messianic.

There was a report recently that made the comment that in 1960, almost 70% of American families were “Church going Christians”; yet today, that number is around 20%. It does not appear that this number will increase. The places where there are “revivals” are in Iran, China, places in Africa and some other areas where just calling oneself a Christian is likely to get them martyred. The younger generations in America are being led away with false “ear-tickling” messages and music that is designed to inspire people, but not have any real Christian content.

Zechariah 13:8-9, “In the whole land (Israel), declares the Lord, two-thirds will be cut off and perish; and one-third shall be left alive. (9) And I will put this third into the fire, and refine them as one refines silver, and test them as gold is tested. They will call upon My Name, and I will answer them. I will say, they are My people, and they will say the Lord is my God.”

When the tribulation is over, and Jesus returns physically to earth, every remaining Jewish person will believe in Him. It’s just sad that so many will have to suffer and die before that time. Not just Jewish people, but people all over the earth.

What’s really sad, is they would not have had to go into the Wrath/Tribulation if only they had truly accepted Jesus beforehand. Even those who will have died prior to His call, will be removed from the earth at the Rapture. Their earthly bodies that are here will be reunited with their souls that come back with the Lord. They will be immediately converted to their forever immortal bodies. All who are alive and called up will be converted to their forever immortal bodies as they rise to meet Jesus in the air. This is a win-win situation. New bodies, no more pain or death, and we avoid the evil of the antichrist, and the Wrath that God takes out on this sinful planet.

The time is drawing very near. Jesus will fulfill prophecy and return soon. Don’t take a chance and be left behind. Call on Him today; tell Him you know you are a sinner as we all are (Romans 3:23); and ask His forgiveness and to come into your heart and be your Savior. After all, He gave His life for all of us, and will accept all who call on Him. (Acts 2:21 and Romans 10:13). He will force no one, but against all that false prophets are putting out, He is the Only Way to the Father. (John 14:6; Romans 10:9-13; Acts 4:12)

To hesitate and put it off until later – which is one of satan’s greatest lies – could leave you in for a very bad time. The call for all believers to rise up and meet Jesus in the air will be over in less than one second (1 Corinthians 15:52). To die before receiving Jesus is a ticket to the Lake of Fire with satan and his demons – Forever! (Matthew 25:41; Revelation 19:20; Revelation 20:10-15) He is waiting for your call, if you have not already accepted Him. However, after He takes His Church (believers) home, it will be a time you do not want to be in. Today would not be too early to accept Him. Hope to see you at Home!
