One of the most controversial topics in the Bible community is the timing of the rapture of the church. But it needn’t be. We have numerous articles on the scriptural support for the pre-tribulation Rapture. The rapture of the church is the secret disappearance of millions of Christians who have placed their faith in the completed work of Jesus Christ on the Cross. Jesus will save the church from the wrath of God that is poured out during the coming Tribulation period. In the twinkling of an eye, we shall all vanish and be in Heaven with Jesus Christ forever.

Satan Loves A False Alarm

Satan Loves A False Alarm By Joseph Chambers Harold Camping and his false prophecy has caused Lucifer to dance with glee. This kind of fancy error is clearly Satan’s design to make fun of the Rapture. The Post-Millenniumist, Amillenniumist and the Mid- Tribulation and Post- Tribulation crowd are laughing at the fun the Media has […]

    Should We Still Be Watching?

Should We Still Be Watching? By Jonathan C. Brentner Most people disdain the whole idea; many Christians regard it as an out of date belief. “Who really believes this anyway?” some ask. “Why should I put my hope in something that no one believed until the nineteenth century? Why would anyone look for something that […]

Rapture References, Part 3…Conclusion By Jack Kelley This is the final installment of our three part series on rapture references in the Bible. We concluded part two with Paul’s letters to the Thessalonians. Written about 20 years after the cross, they were the first definitive teaching on the rapture given on Earth, and as we […]

Rapture References – Part 2 By Jack Kelley In part one of this series we explored some of the clearest hints from the Old Testament that the Lord has always intended to rapture the Church before the End Times judgments begin. This time we’ll continue with a two part survey of the New Testament. Because […]

Rapture References – Part 1 By Jack Kelley Recently I was challenged to make a list of all the passages in the Bible that hint of a pre-trib rapture. As you may know I believe Paul was the first person on Earth to present a clear pre-trib teaching, about 20 years after the cross. Before […]

The Rapture, What’s to Fear? Part 4: The Comfort By Jonathan C. Brentner Do you know that Satan attacked the doctrine of the rapture almost as soon as the ink was dry on Paul’s first letter to the Thessalonians? In 1 Thessalonians 4 and 5, the apostle wrote about the rapture promising the young believers […]

The Rapture, What’s to Fear? Part 3: The Joy of Jesus’ Return By Jonathan C. Brentner When I was a pastor, I loved performing weddings. I remember seeing the joy on everyone’s face when the big day arrived. Now, and I hesitantly admit this, I enjoy watching romantic movies on the Hallmark channel, along with […]

The Rapture, What’s to Fear? – Part 2 By Jonathan C. Brentner While in college at John Brown University, I read Hal Lindsey’s book The Late Great Planet Earth. His book greatly heightened my interest in prophecy to the point where I expected the rapture to occur at any moment, yes even way back in […]

The Rapture, What’s to Fear? Part 1 By Jonathan c. Brentner As his wife and those closest to him gathered around his bedside one evening, they believed this would be the last time they would see him in this life.
