These are the gifts of the Holy Spirit in 1 Corinthians 12: 8-10 The gifts of the Spirit are manifested to meet needs as they arise. Several gifts might come forth at one time to minister to an individual or to a body of believers. It is the Spirit who ministers as He would and at the same time we as believers must allow ourselves to be used of the Spirit and yield as the Spirit directs. So what are the Gifts of the Holy Spirit?, the gifts of the Holy Spirit are ministry gifts given to the believer by the Holy Spirit to edify and glorify the Father, the body of Christ. They are gifts given to cause the believer to have a full life here on earth, and to share in the fullness that God the Father wanted them to share in. God never said you had to wait until you got to heaven to have joy, to have success, to have healing, to have love, to have prosperity. He gave it to us for here and now. What we will have when we get to heaven will be beyond description. There are nine gifts spoken of in verses 8 to 10 of 1st Corinthians 12.
