    North Korea's labor camps are a real-life 'Hunger Games' - latimes.com

Warning! The remaining text in the linked article is very disturbing. Take my word for that...

I knew North Korea was bad, but I didn't know it was THIS bad! :shocked

I saw the Hunger Games over my college's spring break (and read the second book, too). From the very beginning, the tyrannical government in charge had a huge North Korea feel. I can't say I'm surprised that the similarities are there, but I'm most certainly still revolted.

I understand--based on a documentary I've seen on this subject (regarding a guy who escaped a North Korean prison camp), they imprison three generations of the family in these concentration camps.

Wish I could remember the name of the documentary. I'm sure it's on youtube. I just don't recall the title right this second. Incredible story of tyranny.
