Spurt Story

[Theresa]

This story can be told by any number of authors. There are many different ways of accomplishing it, but for this go-around we'll each write a sentence to add to the story. Here goes:

I was spending a quiet, peaceful evening curled up on the couch and reading - my Bible, of course.

[vmoon]

When all of a sudden I head a crash comming from the bathroom.:woah:

[Theresa]

The last time I had looked, Shadow (my kitty) was drinking from the dripping tub faucet.

[vmoon]

A workman has fallen through the bathroom ceiling almost crushing poor little Shadow.

[Miss Bobbie]

As I comforted the cat, I hollered at the workman.

[vmoon]

"Don't you know you're supposed to wipe your feet before comming into the house!"

[Theresa]

"Lady," he replied, "I already wiped them on that cat!"

[vmoon]

With hands on my hips, I exclaimed," Fix me a bowl of Ice Cream!":mad:

[Miss Bobbie]

"And just what were you doing in my bathroom ceiling in the first place?"

[vmoon]

I was looking for the money.

[Miss Bobbie]

I was shocked! How did he know about the $$$ in my walls?!

[vmoon]

The cat told me.

[Miss Bobbie]

That double-crossing cat!

[Adopted]

Not that cat, but the calico in the front yard.

[Xtreme Cowboy]

The cat said he always chases out the rats that are eating your money in the walls!

[Theresa]

But only after he's finished chasing his tail while standing on the open toilet seat.




(Yes, he does do this - and sometimes slips in. :laughbounce)

If the calico knows, who else might know?

[Theresa]

Just as I began to ponder the possibilities, my phone rang.

[vmoon]

It was my hairdresser.

[Theresa]

And oh boy, do I need to see him!
