    Default Revelation Song

How Righteous and Holy you are Lord, hear our cries, may we praise your Holy name forever.

Psalms 145:17 The Lord is righteous in all his ways, and holy in all his works
Psalms 145:18 The Lord is nigh unto all them that call upon him, to all that call upon him in truth
Psalms 145:19 He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: he also will hear their cry, and will save them.
Psalms 145:20 The Lord preserveth all them that love him: but all the wicked he will destroy.
Psalms 145:21 My mouth shall speak the praise of the Lord: and let all flesh bless his holy name for ever and ever.

    Read entire Psalms 145 here...Psalm 145 KJV

Revelation 4:8 And the four beasts(living creatures) had each of them six wings about him; and they were full of eyes within(around and within): and they rest not day and night, saying
Holy ,holy, holy, Lord God Almighty, which was, and is, and is to come.

Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
    Holy, holy is He
Sing a new song to Him who sits on
    Heaven's mercy seat
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain
    Holy, holy is He
Sing a new song to Him who sits on
    Heaven's mercy seat
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come
With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings
You are my everything and I will adore You
Clothed in rainbows of living color
Flashes of lighting rolls of thunder
Blessing and honor strength and glory and power be
To You the only one who's King
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come
With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings
You are my everything and I will adore You
    Filled with wonder awestruck wonder
At the mention of Your name
Jesus Your name is power, breath and living water
    Such a marvelous mystery
    Oh, You're worthy, mystery
    You are worthy
Holy, holy, holy is the Lord God Almighty
Who was and is and is to come
With all creation I sing praise to the King of kings
You are my everything and I will adore You, I will adore You

    Worship Song Ratings

Good new worship song that takes many of its observations about Jesus Christ from the Bible. I like this song because it is refreshing to read song lyrics that do not dwell on self but rather on extolling the virtues of Jesus. Only 6 mentions of what "we" will do and 25 mentions of "Him". If you are concerned with the "rainbows" reference, I looked it up to remind myself of how the King of Kings is described.
Ezekiel 1:28 Like the appearance of a rainbow in the clouds on a rainy day, so was the radiance around him. This was the appearance of the likeness of the glory of the LORD. When I saw it, I fell facedown, and I heard the voice of one speaking.
Revelation 4:3 And the one who sat there had the appearance of jasper and ruby. A rainbow that shone like an emerald encircled the throne.
Revelation 10:1 Then I saw another mighty angel coming down from heaven. He was robed in a cloud, with a rainbow above his head; his face was like the sun, and his legs were like fiery pillars.
The "mighty angel" is a reference to Jesus by how He is described at the beginning of Revelation. The pre incarnate Christ was called "the" angel of the Lord in the Old Testament so, even though Jesus Christ is not a created being, He has been called the angel of the Lord many times.
I would like to see other composers follow the trend this artist is following in ascribing glory to God by listing His glorious attributes. Kudos!

This is one of my favorite songs, 3 slightly different versions to choose from

I love this song. It is so beautiful and gives so much praise to our Lord. I love the line above. It is such a wonderful reminder in this world we live in that our Jesus is power, the Creator of life. the God of all and only He can cast out demons!!! We only need call on His name. Hallelujah!! So full of love for Jesus, He deserves our all.

This one of my favorite songs, too. I love the words to it.

Unless they are outstanding in their selection and use, I am not big on visuals with songs. All three versions are nice musically, but I think I prefer Kari Jobe's version which is used in the last two over the Phillips, Craig and Dean one. Nonetheless, the music and especially the words are what make this song. Indeed it is aptly named! Hallelujah to the Lamb forever!

I agree with you mattfivefour, I prefer a Kari version also. I know what you mean with visuals, sometimes they can be misleading or take away from the lyrics.
I understand the problems with the Passion movie clips used. Of course I haven't seen too many(or any) films that stay true to the scriptures 100%. Of course how could they unless it was just a reading of scripture, since we're not given all the details.

I like Kari Jobe's version too. When my husband was helping me download the song I made him play each person until I recognized her voice, since she was the person I heard singing it the first time when I fell in love with the song.
