YouTube video in a post?
I may have known at one time but have forgotten.....help :)
Make sure you are in the advanced post editor, not the basic one. In the 3 rows of icons at the top of the post window (between the Title window and the place where you write your post) you will see three rows of icons. On the bottom row, near the right hand side of the icons you will see one that looks like the top part of a red "f". If you hover your mouse over it, you will see a help bubble that says "Wrap [you tube video] tags around selected text".
Simply click on that icon and you will see [YOU TUBE VIDEO ] followed by [/YOU TUBE VIDEO ]appear in your text box. Now go to the You Tube video you want to post and select only the exact video identifier code to post. The exact video identifier is that part of the address that is to the right of the equal sign and to the left of the first & sign (if there is one.) For example, the Gaither Vocal Band's rendition of "Worthy the Lamb" has an address of The Gaither Vocal Band - Worthy The Lamb (That Was Slain) - YouTube The vmbxFZjPi5k is the video identifier code. Now copy that and paste it between the You Tube tags and you will see that video there. Like this:
Some You Tube videos have extra characters after the identifier. An example would be the GVB version of "He Touched Me". The video address is "He Touched Me" By The Gaither Vocal Band/Mark Lowry - YouTube. Remeber that I told you the identifier code is everything to the right of the = sign and to the left of the first & sign. So in this case that is the part I have marked in red: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q1g9tH2osQQ&feature=related. So just copy that Q1g9tH2osQQ between your You Tube tags and you will see:
I hope this helps. If you have any other questions, just ask here ... or PM me.
