    Pray Praise and Poetry by Arley

    Shalom, one and all.

    I intend to make my offerings, as time goes by, by adding to this Thread, so, if it is up on the list, I have a new offering, or someone has commented on one of my offerings, instead of a new Thread, each time I manage to create something I wish to share. (I may bring in some older creations, for lack of a better name, but will start with one I wrote this morning)
    In Messiah. Arley :

    May the unsaved see, and be.

    Up in the sky, a silky white cloud,
    I hear trumpet blast, long and loud.

    Movement I see, from deep within,
    Makes heart and soul know, it is Him.

    The Gate is closing, ever quickly behind,
    we'll soon be gone, left behind cannot find.

    Like sparkles from wand we fly through the sky,
    As light, and as bright, as the blink of an eye.

    Mortality is left behind, new horizon fills the sky,
    the Left-behind must soon repent, or surely die.

    All they need do is turn to Jesus, just like me and you.
    but if they refuse to turn to Him, there's nothing we can do.

    The names He goes by, each language can proclaim,
    yet the total of His Salvation, Rock Solid, is the same.

    'Repent,' a word, hated by the unsaved soul,
    until they look up, and know, He's the goal.

    Call on Lord Jesus, He'll respond with a hymn,
    Washed clean, you'll have, eternity with him.

    So, Praise be to God, who created all things,
    Soon very Soon, we all, will have wings.

    Praise His Name, and Walk the Walk,
    In the name of Jesus, please do not balk.

    AMEN
    anath and eddie like this.

    I love your heart, Arley! Keep on serving Him with all the enthusiasm that you portray, bro. And know that one day we'll all get to meet ... up there. What a hug-fest THAT will be!!!

    Discussion is going on about the Mosque being built where flight 93 crashed. I wrote the following poem, a few months after the crash, and thought I might share it:

    Flight 93
    By: Arley W. Steinhour 2002

    You wake up in the morning
    an ordinary Joe;
    preparing for the routine of
    a young man on the go.

    Shower, shave, and brush your teeth,
    you pack your bag to leave;
    kiss your wife and kids goodbye,
    brush talcum from your sleeve.

    The taxi ride is routine,
    to where you’ll go aloft;
    as sun is lighting up the sky,
    and clouds are white and soft.

    You feel the plane lift off the ground,
    and preflight jitters fade;
    Great wife, kids, and job you think,
    ‘I really have it made.’

    Minutes into flight time,
    you get the dreaded news;
    five hijackers are haters,
    of our Christians and Jews.

    The message from the bad guys is,
    “Be smart, against us not a hand“;
    You know that throughout history,
    they’ll just fly somewhere and land.

    They’ll rant and rave excessively,
    and ransom they’ll demand;
    or call for the release from jail
    some members of their band.

    Your nervousness is soon replaced
    with total abject fear;
    When flight crew and the pilot
    are pushed roughly to the rear.

    The pilot says that something’s wrong,
    the plane a bad guy now will fly;
    and if he doesn’t do it right,
    then everyone will die.

    The cell phone in your pocket,
    is handy and might work;
    you call your wife to tell her
    you’ve been hijacked by a jerk.

    She tells you with a deep concern,
    Twin Towers have been struck;
    and then you know beyond a doubt,
    you’ve all ran out of luck.

    The plane is going Southeast,
    D.C. is on that track;
    the aircraft is a weapon;
    You have to take it back.

    The plane has over fifty souls,
    D.C. has thousands more;
    the choice is simply who must die
    from this heinous act of war.

    You tell your wife you love her,
    but you have a job to do;
    you’re going to take the airplane back,
    and subdue this crazy few.

    You tell her that you may not live,
    as something may go wrong;
    these people don’t want money,
    they want to kill our freedom song.

    The last words that your wife will hear
    brands freedoms corporate soul;
    the battle cry, no better made,
    than what you said: “Let’s Roll.”

    A spectator you no longer are,
    your hearts hear drum and fife;
    as something must be done, and quick,
    to save more innocent life.

    Into freedoms history,
    and shirking not your charge;
    Bad guys lose, good guys win,
    the price is very large.

    You all brought us together,
    that very fateful day;
    the standard raised for “Patriot,”
    you few have set this way.

    Rest well you friends of country,
    God bless, and keep your souls;
    for patriots die only once;
    cowards live in holes!

    Amen

    Arley, that poem is just beautiful! Gave me chills! Did you send a copy to the families? I think they would be deeply touched.

    No, I had no idea how to send that, except to send it to Oprah, as she was real big about the families, but I never heard anything back, and the only times I've seen it in print, is when I share it.

    If anyone feels it is worthy, you may send it to your friends. I know where the words came from, my heart.

    Thanks for the compliments, everyone. Secret: I still cry when I re-read it.

    In Messiah, Keep the Watch, our redemption draws nigh. Arley

    That is a very beautiful poem, Arley! Even though I'm not an American citizen, and I never set foot in the States (yet), its message is so powerful it sends chills down my spine. I'm going to email it to my friends now.

    Andrei, Shalom.

    Thank you for your kind words. What the folks on flight 93 did wasn't just for the USA, but for the whole world, every Freedom Loving Country. They made the ultimate sacrifice, praying they would survive; but in their deaths, saved many lives, and set the standard for the survival of anything worth having, like: Freedom. (Much like what Jesus did, but on a lessor scale)

    In Messiah, may we all graduate the same Blink (of His eye, that is). Arley

    A very excellent poem, Arley!

    Like Hannah, my poetry skills are a bit lacking You truly have a gift for this.

    You might search online for various Flt 93 websites, there may be one where you can add your poem. I'm sure the families would be most appreciative.

    We love you, Arley!
    Ephesians 5:18 (New King James Version)

    18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

    I Come To The Garden Alone Hymn

    And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
    And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

    Shalom, One and All.

    If I am correct, in my study of Prophecy, you could be reading my last mortal poem.
    If I am incorrect, in my study of Prophecy, you will be reading another mortal poem, soon.
    Note: if line two is correct, my next poem will probably soak the monitor, so have towels handy.

    When I started this poem, I wanted to include so many of my study results, it would have taken months, and volumes to type, so I cut myself out of the poem, and wrote it to hopefully wake up a non-believer, to become a believer, I believe. Sorry, my mind seems to like doing that with a single word, to see how many applications I can jam into one sentence,,,'Watch,' is my favorite, so far. Nuff-Said.

    Enjoy, I pray: :

    Last Tick of Grace
    By Arley W. Steinhour 090910

    Have you ever heard a Shofar wail,
    From somewhere in the sky,
    Or had Thanksgiving dinner,
    Without a pumpkin pie?

    Have you ever read the Bible,
    But, knew not what it said to you,
    Because the words sound funny,
    With some printed Red, or Blue?

    Does the Pastor stand and speechify,
    From Verses, one or two,
    Stand at the door, when he is done,
    To shake hands with 'them,' and you?

    You leave Church feeling empty,
    Knowing Full is how to feel,
    Full of God’s own perfect word,
    Happy as a fish fed Seal.

    You wonder why the tumult,
    The world has gone insane,
    Good is bad, and bad is good,
    Like upward flowing rain.

    You hear another brother say,
    The Rapture’s close at hand,
    You look at him in funny wonder,
    Is he talking about a new Music Band?

    He sees your look of query,
    And leads you to the side,
    He whispers softly in your ear,
    That’s when we learn to fly.

    Stuttering and stammer is
    About all you can do,
    Who does this guy think you are,
    A real dumb country fool?

    The brother starts by saying
    This is the time when none can hide,
    For Jesus is coming back to earth,
    To snatch away His Royal Bride.

    Anyone Born from Above,
    Not one be left behind,
    But those who are, face Hell on earth
    The next Seven years they find.

    What makes you sure, you ask of him,
    This brother who shares all,
    Other tried, and failed the test,
    And got totally nailed to the wall.

    He said, “Eclipse soon will fit the days,
    Of the Jewish Feast’s of God;
    Soon after that, Jesus rules the world,
    With the Saints and Iron Rod.

    Eclipses don’t prove much, you say,
    With sheepish Christian grin,
    He chuckled softly in his hand as
    His eye’s say, “Where have you been?”

    Asks he, “Do you want to know?”
    “Of course,” you say, “I hunger to the core,”
    “Israel, the new leafed Olive Tree,” said he.
    Heart jumps high, as you suddenly can see.

    The truth at last, fill’s to the brim,
    From the Bible’s Cornucopic Horn,
    Your hunger now will full increase,
    Starvation for God’s word reborn.

    Too late for you to learn it all,
    But the story now makes sense,
    Twelfth hour in His vineyard work,
    And still be paid a whole day’s Pence.

    Hour’s left are oh so very few,
    These final days will be so much fun,
    Working with God’s vineyard Souls,
    You might help lead one to the Son.

    The time is Right, so very Right,
    Tribulation Woes soon start,
    Fill your heart with Agape Love,
    You will, if you are Smart.

    AMEN

    If you want to save Soul from Satan’s Pit,
    On your knees Cry: “Jesus take my sin.’
    You will spend Eternity, sin free,
    In Heaven/Paradise, with HIM.

    Shalom, one and all.

    Well, I guess I did err, once again. Think I just might quit trying to figure out Jesus' itinerary code, since I am probably not smart enough to hear his clues properly. Besides, most folk want to argue, and not be joyous. NAH,,,I have too much fun, studying God's word, in a multi-tasking way,,,Normal study, and Prophetic study.. Ha.

    I woke up this morning a mortal still I be, with not Snatching up into the sky, today it seems, for me.....ooops,,,there I go again, getting poetic....but with that in thought,,,here is one that I got down about thirty minutes ago. Hope you read it as Praise to God/Jesus:

    New Day Calling us Home
    by Arley Steinhour 091010 (Yom Teruah eve 5770 into 5771)

    The day is absolutely sparkling,
    my eyes are opened wide,
    to keep the watch, for the watched,
    Messiah Jesus knows where I abide.

    The sky is where He will come for us,
    Fly-by, and snatch into the Sky,
    to take us all to the Wedding Feast,
    between Him, and you and I.

    I missed the mark by just a tad,
    or maybe even much more,
    but always ready is my creed,
    to be with Him on distant shore.

    If any of you haven't offered your 'Pent,'
    and taken Jesus as your God and King,
    You might be left behind, to pout,
    to hear the son of Satan sing.

    Seven years he'll sing his song,
    of hatred, slavery, and death,
    for with his mark he destroys the soul,
    that God won't waste His Breath.

    We don't surrender very much,
    just sin and things like that,
    and asking Jesus to take it away,
    we're clean to be God's 'brat.'

    But not a 'brat,' like some would think,
    buy more a 'brat' who lives to Worship,
    God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit,
    with their names upon the Lip.

    The time is short, for every one,
    He comes soon as can be,
    Not much time to full repent,
    and be part of His Family Tree.

    AMEN

    Thumbs up Re: Praise and Poetry by Arley

    Yoiks, away, I can't stop the flow. I think my poeticizing is leaking.
    Asked by a brother, how I felt, still being in mortality, and not with Jesus, this is what came out of my fingers, onto the screen:

    I'm 'Not Sad for being Wrong'
    by Arley Steinhour 091010

    Oh, maybe a skid mark or two, from when I jumped out of bed,
    thinking I was at 50,000 feet, but NOT, said my forehead.

    But, other than a two foot skid, without my wheels locked down,
    I didn't even shed a tear, much less than show a frown.

    This I know for sure, I still live mortality,
    but tears didn't come to me real fast, because I had to Pee.

    So now I stand, and scratch my brain, to learn where I went wrong,
    and then real soon, once I do, I'll return with my old song.

    Rapture will be the theme of it, as if you couldn't guess,
    the dates will change, but my excuses will stay a mess.

    Excuses, them, I have but one, I can recite it on the run,
    Jesus' code I do not know, besides that, I am dumb.

    So Keep the Watch, for this I know, beyond a shadows doubt,
    Jesus didn't come quite as I thought, unless He left me out.

    But you are here, plus them I know, who also mortal live,
    So, I be looking for a new date, and once I do, to you I'll give.

    Until our God/Messiah comes, surprisingly, or not,
    keep helping those we can, from going where it's hot.

    AMEN

    Waiting for the Bridegroom
    by Arley Steinhour 091010

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to snatch away the Bride,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to give His faithful, Special Ride.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to bring us Robes of White,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, we light the path at night.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to peresent us to His Dad,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to cleanse us all from Bad.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to hug us everyone,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to make us spouse of Son.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to dawn His Robes of Red,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to Choker Satan's head.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to change earths way of life,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to end all mortal strife.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to reign a thousand years,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to finish all our fears.

    Waiting for the Bridegroom, to bring us to day Eight,
    waiting for the Bridegroom, to seal forever, Satan's Fate.

    Shalom, one and all. Ooops,,,yep,,,,again.... Addressing a family members concern, elswhere in the Forum, my fingers decided to dance for them, to show what Jesus can do with us. Below is what came out of my hands. I pray it may help you to appreciate Jesus, and all He means to you and I, when He is our primary focus.

    Instead of Quiting
    by Arley Steinhour 091010

    Praise Him, Love Him, love your brothers and sisters,
    Praise Him, Love Him, even the Bad Dude shysters.

    Praise Him, Love Him, follow Him wherever He goes,
    Praise Him, Love Him, make Him the beacon for your nose.

    Praise Him, Love Him, with a heart so full of Love,
    Praise Him, Love Him, as He watches you from above.

    Praise Him, Love Him, take your eye not off of His smile,
    Praise Him, Love Him, eternity will seem like a mile.

    Praise Him, Love Him, may He come for the Bride real soon,
    Praise Him, Love Him, be it day time, or under the moon.

    AMEN

    I started to do lyrics for a tune, but poem took over better:

    Tribulation Marching Song
    by Arley Steinhour 091110

    I’m going blind, but keep on watching, every cloud that's passing by,
    even in the rainy weather, sometimes rain gets in my eye.
    Falling tears come from the Master, crying over fallen man,
    every time that we're not good, something mortal hits the fan.

    My bones haven’t marched for years, and I sure I'll shed tears,
    as we march, He strengthens me, I might be also shedding Years.
    Marching on, as if to war, follow Jesus, way ahead,
    Marching on as if to war, Quail and Manna, we're well fed.

    We are going to be returning, back to Earth in Seven Years,
    on white horse, we follow Jesus, to stop those Tribulation Tears.
    We don't fight, we're there for show, Jesus does it All, and more,
    When He's done, He'll Rule a Thousand, Follow Him, or Hells Dark door.

    Praise to Jesus, one and all, Never let His Banner Fall,
    as His Royal Family, with Jesus be God's all in all.
    On your knees we get more done, than a horse can, walk or run,
    Up in Heaven, all is greater, singing grass is so much fun.

    I am done with my short story, so I pass it on to you,
    praise to Jesus, King of Kings, with us marching ever true.

    AMEN

    I’m rearing to go, while I’m on earth, the ‘why’ I truly know,
    Watchfully looking up in the sky, where white clouds do their show.

    Heaven is somewhere out beyond, the white and blue called sky,
    Most people think the way to go there, is to quit breathing and to die.

    But that’s not why I’m looking there, as I see something far better than space,
    I see where my God Jesus lives, I’m going, He’s coming, it seems to be a race.

    My bones are old, my muscles gone, my eyesight getting ever so dim,
    But the eyesight that my heart contains, looks beyond and searches for Him.

    The non-believer, I’m sorry to say, can see nothing but stars, at night,
    Day or night, I look to see if Jesus comes with in His ‘Saving Flight.’

    With Mighty Trumpet blaring loud, with Angels strong voice, He’ll call,
    “COME UP,” and, All of Faith, in Jesus will hear, and fly up, one and all.

    To non-believing people, all they’ll see and hear be flash with thunder,
    They’ll look around and realize that there’s many gone, and wonder.

    To Him we fly, up into the sky, to gather to Him with Joyous Love.
    Knowing we go to the Wedding Feast, to live Eternity in Heaven, Above.

    The saddest tale in History, will follow our soon meeting with God,
    Tribulation, and Millennium experience under the Rod.

    Once Jesus has ruled for a thousand years, Satan’s released from bottomless well,
    He tries again to dethrone our God, and is permanently sent to Eternal Hell.

    Time is locked away, back to Eternity, with Joyous Songs of Praising God’s Renown,
    Eternity, with Evil gone, the Tree of knowledge between good and evil, Cut Down.

    AMEN
