I can hardly make it through, without ending up with a tear stained cheek or three. Loving Him is a Big Woopeee!!!

Here is another that has been laying around, and thought I'd let it have a day in the sun:

    Poem The Return
    By Arley Steinhour 082809

The time is drawing oh so near,
    When trumpet blast we all will hear;

The call from somewhere in the ski,
When Christians learn that they can fly.

The time is short before your call,
    Perhaps today or in the fall;

The time, you hold so secret within,
When those who hear are free of sin.

You’re knocking at all dead heart’s door,
To give them your grace, and even more.

    Simple, simple is the chore,
    Confession opens up the door.

You'll enter in, forgive the sin,
Heart all clean, you live within.

Think ‘Time,’ how long 'Eternal' be,
Give your heart to Jesus, be Family!

    AMEN, and Hallelujah

The Sword must yet be used. Then, we can beat them into plow-shares, Praising God, as we do so. Hallelujah AMEN

    Truth and Error
    By Arley Steinhour 021111

Heavenly Father, Is the End really here,
Does this your Family need have any fear?

Your word says 'Like Travail' starts the end,
Seems like catastrophe is just around the bend.

Your Will, Be Done, with fulfillment at hand,
Feelings are split, part sad, part 'Strike up the Band.'

Countries are falling all over the place,
To a kind of people, who hate Human Race.

They hate Jew and Christian, and even their own,
If they are to win, last man standing, is truly alone.

They don't understand, that they do this all wrong,
They should be learning to love, and Praising in song.

They're told to hate folk, convert them or kill,
We are directed to love all, with all of our skill.

They think they win heaven, when killing us all,
Like You we are hated, for Loving all as we fall.

Soon, very soon, Psalms Eighty Three fulfills,
But Millions dying, just gives me the chills.

You know the end of this, have since the beginning.
Too late they see, against You, they only are sinning.

Your promise to your Faithful, is about to transpire,
You say 'Come up Hither,' from earth we fly higher.

The Joy that we feel, as we lift up to you,
Confirms that your Love for us, is Ever True.

    AMEN

    Star Light Star Bright
    By Arley Steinhour 021311

Star light, star bright, first star I see tonight,
Wish I may, wish I might, have a wish on you tonight.

A game, we played most every night,
To see who spotted ‘First Star Light.’

Day’s work was done after last chore, our meal was upon the table,
We’d heap food on plate, dash out the door, to play the night star fable.

Most evenings, by the time we sat down, placed plate upon our knees,
First star would show its light, low in Eastern sky so we were pleased.

Wishes made, we each got one, to hold as our hearts panted,
Giving us high-hope, some day, our wish just might be granted.

No one knew the wish we made, the secret we must keep,
Or the wish would just be wasted, and we’d cry ourselves to sleep.

Food all gone, and plate sopped clean, we focused on the sky,
The show lit so fantastic, when the Milky-way stuck the eye.

How could a person count that high, to number each star up in the sky,
Are there people looking back our way, wondering why we wonder why?

Shimmering, shining, and sparkling, Milky-Way made like a movie,
We imagined people living there, just like us, would be so groovy.

Slowly, slowly East to West, Milky-Way made it’s night time trek,
Laughing and pointing at the brighter stars, could make a crick in neck.

Alas, we never got to see the whole trip across the sky,
Sand-man must need have his way, putting night dust in the eye.

Sunrise chores to Sunset dinner needed every daylight hour,
Children need a good nights sleep, if they’re to grow to Human Flower.

Grandma always called us in about ten thirty o’clock each night,
By then our eyes were heavy and tired, we didn’t give her a fight.

Fast asleep, the dreams would flow, like fresh spring water, hot.
About all the places that we didn’t see, but felt some day we aught.

The rooster’s crowing heralded the Sun, another day awaken,
Each day and night much the same, so I close to eggs and bacon.

We prayed for meals, and when going to bed, plus Church, and a little more,
The life we had as children I say, Praised God, for His blessings at our door.

    AMEN

So many ways to Praise our God, but on the knees is best,
But, quick word, or a wink allows Holy Spirit to say the rest.

    Under the Knife
    By Arley Steinhour 021411

The sky, icy-blue this morning, with light Cirrus up so high,
At Cirrus, and above I saw many 'Con-trails' streaking by.

From somewhere, there, they arive, looking forward to end of their flight,
Passing by us here, going there somewhere, a truly awesome sight.

With raspy, early morning voice, I sang my praise to God on high,
Driving, singing, enchanted, beautiful day, like driving to the sweet by and by.

Oh, What a Beautiful Morning, I sang as if God couldn't hear,
Praising His name, and all he made, good song sung, great cheer.

The sun was all lifted above eastern horizon, to shine full bodied today,
Temperatures rising, won't be surprising if I need coat warming, no way.

I happily drive to the city on the Platte, to see my Doctor this morning,
To have cutting done, removing aby-normal from skin, I've been ignoring.

Arriving, as usual, way before schedule, I rested, and waited on arriving,
My standard it seem, thirty minutes ahead, of Doctor my skin he be scanning.

The radio in, my trusty red Ford, played Christian radio, so well,
Keeps my mind busy, not in a tizzy, bout the prospect of going to Hell.

Alas, can't wait longer, I must enter the dungeon, of surgical knife I'd not rather,
But, to keep myself looking like a normal person, I daren't get into a lather.

The Doctor is nice, just as nice as the lady, that prepped me to go under the knife,
He's somewhat older, than the pretty young lady, but both be so full of life.

Zip, Snip, fourteen stitches, with my neck almost better than new,
I kidded the Doc, that my face-lift half done, right side, tears shed a few.

Once totally healed, and good as can be, my left side be younger than right,
I will reserve my right side for when I cry, folks then will expect it to look affright.

This wounded warrior, drove home all aglow, till I stopped at grocery for grub,
A kindly older lady, offered to help me safely fill the sack if she I didn't snub.

So sweet her offer, I must look kind of bad, with my O2, and bandage on face,
We conversated, a moment or three, as I thanked her and completed my food chase.

We chatted about life, and how God is so Good, with His Son Jesus, watching over His vine,
Praising, and laughing, we both felt much better, having taken the time to Praise and shine.

Home-ward bound, I know I had found yet another sister, in Jesus today,
I close this quite happy, my neck soon will heal, with happiness full on my tray.

    AMEN

Thanks for the prayer. I usually don't have any problem healing. The hard part is making myself go to the Doctor, in the first place. The Dentists always want to pull things, and the Doctors want to cut. God is going to have a very hard time finding all my parts, spread all over the world, lik they are, especially the hair part. Yeee-Haaa!!! and AMEN, I'm gonna have lots of hair again.

OK, now for the serious part of my day....

    Eternal Wonderings
    By Arley Steinhour 021511

Why does God allow us to die,
Why does he allow our heart to cry?

Why do we begin to age,
Why is life of book, one page??

Do we have a future bright,
Do we endure a life in night??

Do we have something after death,
Do we need plan for loss of breath??

When will we have answers complete,
When will we live without defeat??

    When will our children understand,
When will we live in God’s perfect plan??

Will we enjoy more than just this life,
Will we truly become God’s Royal Wife??

Will Sin and Pain, cease to be,
Will there be more for you and me??

The answers all are found in God’s Holy word,
Without a question, His answers all can be heard.

God wants us all to have every answer,
Learned by us as Eternal Lifes Enhancer.

He loves mankind with all His heart,
He planned to save us right from the start.

He left His Throne, and came to earth,
To pay the price for sin, through mortal birth.

All we need to do is confess and ask,
Then, in His presence eternally bask.

Self sufficient, He made us, loud and proud,
A hurdle to cross, to live under His sheltering cloud.

We do have a future, oh so bright
We will live in his light, with no night.

We do have so much to enjoy, after death,
We have so much to do, we’ll be out of breath.

We will have all the answers, oh so complete,
We will see no more suffering or endure defeat.

Our children will, just like folks, understand,
We will know that our God really did have a plan.

We will have eternal enjoyment, forgeting this life,
Un-like earthly strife, we’ll be God’s Royal Wife.

No Sin, and no Pain, Suffering ceases to be,
There’s more, so much more, for you and for me.

Look bright to the future, God’s coming for us,
To be where He is, receiving gifts wondrous.

So, those mortals, who thought that they wanted to wait,
Need make up their mind, where Eternally be, or be late.

    AMEN

In the palm of His mighty hand, God can hold the Universe, or serve us our dinner, at the Wedding feast. What a wonderful God we have. AMEN

    Smiling Under Moon Sky

    By Arley Steinhour 021811

A prayer to my God, is on my tongue,
It's always been there, since I was young.

Often times, when I start to recite,
Satan objects, and we get in a fight.

Satan hates God, and therefore me,
Since becoming a part of God's Family Tree.

Satan does his best to trip me and fall,
Though I may stumble, God be my all.

He comes out all red, and ever so mad,
Acting as if I'm the one who was bad.

I toss a rebuke to him, in Jesus name,
That makes him madder, ain't that a shame?

I just keep on praying, to Jesus my King,
Satan gets so choked up, he can't even sing.

He squeaks and he squawks, grumbles a lot,
Kicking and cursing, he leaves, as if he was shot.

Satan don't come here, much any more,
Not since I hung a prayer right on my door.

Now I can Praise God, without any fuss,
Just keeping it simple, a heavenly must.

Some day soon I know, I'll graduate,
By self, or with group, I cannot wait.

Hearts focused on Messiah, every hour of the day,
My eyes on Moon clouds, to see him coming my way.

The time's getting short, with events out of hand,
Soon, very soon, Jesus, will be Ruling the Land.

    AMEN
(to the moon the Attachment manager wouldn't allow me to import, since I'm out of space for importing.)
Sometimes it's creamy, sometimes it's red,
Sometimes I see it through window from bed.

Someday you're coming, to snatch us away,
I keep on watching for that wonderful day. AMEN

Had the same problem, so I started a Photobucket account and hotlink images from there.

Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

From the albums in your account, all you have to do is hover the mouse over the pic you want to use, click on the "direct link" line from the popup menu, it saves the link automatically to your clipboard, then in the RF forum textbox for posting you click on "Insert Image" and paste the link into the popup box. A great boon for image-junkies like me.

Thanks, Micah 719, I'll see if I can get that done. I like using photo augment, as it helps people overlook my lack of creative ability, and just see what I am really trying to say from the heart. I was hoping I could erase those I have used, and make space for more here, but, what-ever.

So Here we go with another, heh heh, that I didn't write, so it is a good one:

I love to poeticize my praises, to our wonderful God on high,
But sometimes 'find' the phrazes, that fill the heart and eye:

    The Kingdom be Near
    Author Unknown

Watchman: Tell us of the night--
What the signs of promise are.
    Traveler: O'er yon mountain's height--
    See that glory-beaming star?

    Watchman: Does its beauteous ray--
Ought of hope or joy foretell?
Traveler: Yes, it brings the day--
    Promised day of Israel.

Watchman: Tell us of the night--
    Higher yet that star ascends.
    Traveler: Blessedness and light--
Peace and truth its course portends.

    Watchman: Will its beams alone--
Gild the spot that gave them birth?
    Traveler: Ages are its own--
See, its glory fills the earth.

    Watchman: Tell us, does the morning;
    Of fair Zion's glory dawn?
Have the signs that mark its coming
    Yet upon thy pathway shown?

Traveler: Yes: arise; Look round thee,
Light is breaking in the skies!
Gird thy Bridal Robes around thee!
    Morning dawns! Arise! Arise!

    AMEN

Time of waiting almost over, Bridegroom seeks His Wife,
So we enjoy being His family, for all our Eternal Life.

    "lack of creative ability"?

Sorry, that's not the Arley I know from his writings. You're a credit to your Creator, a Praise to your Father, and a gift from Him to us.

Shalom, micah719. I started a couple, but they went deep dark, considering the events of the day, so I threw them away.

I feel Jesus sent me that poem, to raise my spirits and strengthen me. Besides, Good is Good just like God is Good, and sharing another persons creativity makes me feel Good. That's a good feeling to feel, feeling good.

I don't try to force production, lest it perchance become drudgerious, worse yet insincere.

Hope you all like this one, even with the condemnational atmosphere attached (not of the Faithful, but the 'Contracted' Christians, that say nothing about, or even promote Sinful lifestyle):

    Day Praise 022111
    By Arley Steinhour 022111

I sat me down this morning, to see what world news had to say,
Islamic nations are starting to fall, some may do so today.

I close my eyes, and fold my hands, while sitting in my chair,
I Praise your Name, you are in charge, choreographing this affair.

You gave us almost two thousand years, to do away with Sin,
I fear that we have failed the test, with what Pandora held within.

Sodom, and Gomorrah, seem to be wimpy previews of today,
We’ve taken all their sinful ways, and enhanced them in every way.

Only you, dear God, know every heart who ‘does,’ or looks away,
I wonder, where the guilt does stop, in ‘doing,’ or ignoring every day?

With heavy heart, I seek your Will, and narrow path, to follow you,
Discipline Only Begotten Son, with the Faithful Cross-Bearing few.

If only folks would read your word, and determine the Truth you say,
We just might find the path is wide enough, to do every thing your way.

The time is short, so very short, to stop this sin-filled freight-train,
But, with your help and guidance, we can save a few from eternal pain.

I Praise your Name, you are in charge, your call we willingly bear,
I close my eyes, and fold my hands, for the strength to get us there.

    AMEN

The King is coming to be in charge, removing all hurt and pain.
Ruling over this Earth so Large, giving man a sin free brain. AMEN

    The Good Old Days?
    by Arley Steinhour 022111

Ah, them days, when men were men, and women only chattel,
Boys grew up knowing they were in charge, and women were no better than cattle.

At end of life, it was the job, for Pa to settle any problem,
be it real or not, mama couldn't handle the strain of loosing her 'Problem.'

Today, we have a problem, with thinking ways, of old,
Men still be Men, but women, are now ever so cleaver, and Bold.

Sadly so, for not like days of old, young husbands and wives quickly flys,
Men and Women don't stay together, and upon divorce, it be no body, who crys.

Times have changed, so very much, we know not where we are,
All these years have passed along, and we've gone backward, so very far.

The Good-old-days, cannot return, if only they truly could,
where women truly ruled the house, and hubby still chopped wood.

    AMEN

If you are able, hear the song, then read the words I offer.
You will see what Jesus means to me, my God, there is no other:
    http://god-gives-us-strength.blogspot.co...

    I Can Try to Imagine
    By Arley Steinhour 022211

There is a song, I truly Love,
    Had to be authored by God, above;

'I can Only Imagine,' fills my eyes with tears,
With overwhelming Love worthy of Eternal years.

Can I Imagine all God's beauty, there is to know,
About the beauty of what from God does flow?

I try to sing along with the song,
But wiping tears takes far too long.

The screen blurs out, my nose fills up,
My vocal cords cry, like howling pup.

Perhaps, to sing it through to final note,
I must try to sing, enough to float a boat.

When my tear ducts have emptied out,
My emotions can ring on voice with clout.

I tried that Time, Times, and a Half,
But failed to dry the tear duct shaft.

Until the day I do graduate,
My heart will sing unto that date.

Sing it folks, and you may agree,
Focus on Jesus, with bended knee.

Let every pain and doubt flow out,
Blow your nose, and give a shout.

When your Praise be completely sung,
Sit back, relax, let God prove He is, the only one.

    AMEN

If ‘I can Only Imagine’ doesn’t fill your heart, try ‘Imagine All the People,’ with deaf quire: God Gives Us Strength: Imagine by a deaf school chorus

No more fighting, no more war, None of that comes through the narrow door. Only peace and harmony, Comes from praying on the knee.

Preparing to pray, before I slept,
I intended to pray something from the Blue

The following formed right up, words did flow and fill my cup.

Smoothed a bit, to make the trip to our God so True,
Especially when I addressed it, to be from me and you:

    Relocation of Your Light
    By Arley Steinhour 022111

    Dear Jesus,

This Praise I want to pour, upon your Royal head,
Like Aromatic Spikenard, plus tears, like Bible said.

My praise to you cannot have Sweet Aroma, fair,
Till Spirit changes to worthy, what I try to share.

The sun is set, the light is gone, looking to the stars afar,
My eyes see only sparkling spots, yet that is where you are.

When I was but a child of ten, brighter was each star,
Youth and lack of city lights, showed better where you are.

Full Moon wasn't best for searching, starlight hidden more than few,
The Milky-Way, still had a shape, and we knew that came from you.

Today, I cannot find half, of what I remember being there,
Our light had dimmed your light, and that just isn't fair.

To find you now we look inside, our hearts are dark till you move in,
Top of mountain, deep in sea, we have your light shining deep within.

Once you take up residence, within our hearts, so dark,
You chase away that dark and sin, we are a Garden Park.

Our sinful life be like the stars up in the sky, there but we couldn't see,
Until the Blood of your Emmanuel, transfigured even me.

I cannot say my praise makes sense, I sometimes get tongue-tied,
The kind of Praise and Stammering, I still offer you with pride.

The rockiness of mortal life, teaches us to cope with our rotten sin,
Your Life-Blood heals the evil there, Satan cannot hide within.

Before our words fly up to you, Spirit takes them well in hand,
Shapes our thoughts, and words unsaid, wraps my them with a Golden band.

Watch over us, as we rest this night, that we wake up Praising you,
Refreshed, and rested, full restored, to greet tomorrow's sky, so Blue.

    AMEN

Praying with man's number two Agape Friend, to man's number one Agape Friend, is the only way to Praise our God.

    Snow Watch
    By Arley Steinhour 022411

Keeping the Watch for you this snowy day, keeps visibility so short,
The clouds are low, and snow floats to ground, I stay within my fort.

I praised and prayed to you this morning, but didn’t have a lot to say,
Some mornings I just mumble and stretch, as I smile at the new day.

I had another dream, last night, about the Church redemption,
On our way to you, in the sky, a Holy Spirited convention.

The world events are getting worse, You will not interfere,
Too long you’ve tried to talk us home, we wouldn’t lend an ear.

Before you close the Gate of Grace, I pray more come to you,
To plead for Grace Redemption paid, on Cross in Love so true.

Without that day you paid, the price we could never pay,
You could have called the Angels, and snatch yourself away.

But, no, not you, you came to snatch, from Satan, your holy fold,
All we need do is ask you, and we can receive a crown of Gold.

Until that day, you come for us, when ever that is to be,
We need watch for you dear Lord, from Sea to shining Sea.

Your Will, be done, for the Faithful, as we bless Your Only Son,
So, no matter when we graduate, praise to you, Our Holy ONE.

    AMEN

    A National Prayer
    Author, Well Known.

Prayer 'Seconded,' Aye (by Arley Steinhour)

Billy Graham's Prayer For Our Nation

THIS MAN SURE HAS A GOOD VIEW OF WHAT'S HAPPENING TO OUR COUNTRY!

'Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance.

We know Your Word says, 'Woe to those who call evil good,' but that is exactly what we have done.

We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values.

We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery.

We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare..

We have killed our unborn and called it choice.

We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable.

We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem.

We have abused power and called it politics...

We have coveted our neighbor's possessions and called it ambition..

We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression.

We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment.

Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and set us free.

    Amen!'

    And, AMEN

What better picture of God's opinion of what we have done, than Moses, the first time he brought the Ten Commandments, to Israel. I cannot find any recent photo's of Sodom, nor Gomorrah. Hmmm.
