    After Breakfast Prayer
    By Arley Steinhour 091710

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, it was very good.
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, I ate more than I should.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, it all went down real slick,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, I pray I don’t get sick.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, my waistline don‘t feel right,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, my clothing feels too tight.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, must learn to push away,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, I’ll do that another day.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, a better thought I need,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, til again I want to feed.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, I know, I think I’ll pray,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, for food like this each day.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, a nap I truly need,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, I’m feeding waistline’s seed.

Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, praising you is fun,
Thank ya, thank ya, thank ya, for Breakfast, Jesus, my only one.

    AMEN

    The Path I Walked
    By Arley Steinhour 091710

    Dear Jesus,

You made me an offer, I couldn’t refuse,
You’d die for my sins, so I couldn’t loose.

All that I need do, was to say ‘Yes,’
And you would cleanse me from my present mess.

The mess I had made in my mortal life,
But, upon acceptance, I'd be a part of your wife.

My macho blood boiled, at what you suggest,
I’d never pull feathers to make you a nest.

I’d walk in my own life, wherever it went,
I’d be independent, and never pay rent.

I walked and I searched, for the best part of life,
Somehow never finding, how to accept ‘Wife.’

I knew you were there, just waiting for me,
I knew from the lifesaving things I could see.

The times that you saved this worthless man, me,
Would have multiples of thank-you on each limb of a tree.

The aircraft that fell from sky with me on board,
Would scare maybe you, but for sure Satan’s hoard.

Ships tried to drown me, pajama men kill,
But all Satan’s attempts, were, but for nil.

One day I was searching, and reading your Book,
When I remembered Pain, from me that you took.

You took away pain and blindness from me,
And blessed me with vision, that I might see.

I knew you had saved me, when on the wall I did see,
The crucifix, with Jesus, smiling down upon me.

I had let mortal man drive my heart from your side,
And through mortal life my error could not hide.

It was there all the time, for me to find,
Missing the answer cause I was out of my mind.

For many long years, I had thought as a Mortal,
I finally woke up and repented, to now be Immortal.

You have saved my Soul, with patience sublime.
And you were with me right there, all the time.

I Praise you and thank you, for all you have done,
Especially now that I KNOW you’re the ONE.

In your Holy Name, each day I begin,
We belong to each other, and I win again.

    Amen

    Tabernacle With Jesus
    By Arley Steinhour 092510

Fall Feasts of God, we’re in the middle,
Times are bad, as ‘Nero’ play’s fiddle.

Tabernacles started yesterday, amongst great party mirth,
Many fail to understand, we celebrate Messiah’s Birth.

The eighth day of Tabernacles, great things are taking place,
Dedication, Redemption, and Circumcision sets the eternal pace.

Dedication to God completely, never more to part,
The lifeless thing inside our chest, becomes a living heart.

Redemption through the Sacrifice, that our Dear Jesus gave,
Protects each one who follow Him, from Hells eternal Grave.

Circumcision cuts away the Dross, and binds us all to Him,
The mark is made, our Choice is played, and we are His, AMEN.

    Thanks, guys, and Shalom.

Like the Angel said to John, 'Don't thank me, thank God for the gift He gave, and keeps on giving.'

I love poetry, and God/Jesus, so putting the two together is more a Joy, than a skill.

In Messiah, Keep the Watch, we're watching. Arley

    The Wondering Prayer
    By Arley Steinhour 092710

I wonder what it might be like, to wear robes like Jesus would do.
I wonder what it might be like, to walk upon the deep water too.

I wonder what it might be like, to walk to town and through,
I wonder what it might be like, to not wear out a shoe.

I wonder what it might be like, to never break a bone,
I wonder what it might be like, to always be at home.

I wonder what it might be like, to never do a wrong,
I wonder what it might be like, to know most every song.

I wonder what it might be like, to walk a street of Gold,
I wonder what it might be like, to never fret getting Old.

I wonder what it might be like, to think a place, and be there,
I wonder what it might be like, to brush my head, and have hair.

I wonder what it might be like, to hear the grass blades sing,
I wonder what it might be like, to pet a Bee and it not sting.

I wonder what it might be like, to fly up high with the Eagle,
I wonder what it might be like, to in the dirt dig like a Beagle.

I wonder what it might be like, to wonder at God‘s Mighty Sight,
I wonder what it might be like, having Bright Day, never night.

I wonder, yes, I wonder, each day that I do live,
Does Jesus come for us real soon, or another day He give.

My life is full of wonder, but the bestest wonder I recall,
Is how Lord Jesus can Love just me, and yet Love one and all.

I wonder what it might be like, to have him answer all my questions,
Ahead of everybody else, with all of you having the same options.

Jesus knows a thing or two, about how to be God and King,
Jesus knows, that we will know, that He knows every thing.

    AMEN

Day Bright, God Light, Breakfast right
    By Arley Steinhour 092710

Good Morning Lord, I wake praising your Name,
I start each morning out, just about the same,

Praising You, as I squirm and wake up,
    Makes morning sparkle like a diamond cup;

Filled full of coffee, all steamy and hot,
Poured to the brim, fresh from the pot.

The praise I start this day, praising to you,
Comes from my heart, love warm and so true.

A Blessing this day, on you I do pray,
    Knowing you’ll bless me, the very same way;

Much more Love than my heart can contain,
Thus, much Love spills over others, like rain.

I ask you to bless the day’s food I will eat,
After I shower, shave, and then take my seat.

Potatoes, hash browned, and eggs, over supreme,
And that cup of coffee, in that cup I did dream.

Golden Brown, the spuds, must be on each side,
Apple sauce poured on them, two egg’s for to ride.

Praising You Lord, as my meal I prepare,
I invite You to join me, gladly I’ll share.

You softly decline, and give me the meal,
And it’s so very tasty, I feel like a heel.

But, through the lips, and over the gums,
Watch out stomach, here it comes.

I know it’s not nice to pray with mouth full of food,
But I can’t stop my praising, because your half is so good.

    AMEN

    Humor: God Created
    By Arley Steinhour 092910

An Epiphany!! """IN the Beginning, GOD, CREATED!!!,""" the "Heavens and the Earths" (GOD has a slight lisp, so everything sounds plural).

GOD, on the Seventh day, realizing HE forgot to be specific, cancelled DAY OF REST, a n d HE started, and, IS STILL COUNTING !!! (as we discover even more Galaxies than the last time we discovered more Galaxies).

Scientific note: All GOD need do, to stop this Creation Problem, is say: "Ooops!!" But, Then, everything would turn to Dust, and we wouldn't have a thing to Stand-On, while pleading with HIM, to at least leave "ONE" Galaxy. Scary, HUH???

I know, but you don't have to live with me,,,,,,I do.....

Thanks for what I presume to be a compliment.....

Sometimes I think Jesus is priming me to be the 'Throne Room Jester.'

I seem to find humor in almost everything that comes my way,,,even pain, sometimes. Lucky I guess.

In Messiah, back to my 'Watch' thing---eee--Haaa!!! and AMEN.

Pray Re: Praise and Poetry by Arley

Shalom and thanks, Meg. I truly do love Praising Jesus.

Here is a lyric/poetic offering I just did. Old folk will probably know the melody, younger, perhaps.

    Poem/Lyric Have I Told You
    By Arley Steinhour 093010
(to the 1940's Jim Reeves Country tune of ‘Have I told you lately’)

Have I told you lately, that I Love you,
Have I told you lately, that I care?
Have I told you lately, you are my one and only?
Well, Jesus, I’m telling you now.

You came to earth, to buy us back from Satan,
You paid without, our promise to respond.
You only ask, that we accept with pure heart.
Well, Jesus, I’m accepting you now.

The time is right, for you to come and claim us,
The time is right, for us to call on you.
The time, is right, that we all pray and ask you,
So, Jesus I’m asking you now.

The price you paid, for every one born mortal,
The price you paid, does wash away our sin.
The price, you paid, we can-not err repay you,
Thus, by Grace, we’re fully cleansed within.

Have I told you, just how much I Love you?
Have I told you, just how much I care?
Have I told you, you’re my one and only?
Well Jesus, I pray I’ve told you now.

    AMEN

Poem The Price of Eternal Bliss
    By Arley Steinhour 100410

He stood upon the hill, that day, blessing all, right from the start,
Wondrous words of wisdom, and truth, that sang into the heart.

Thousands stood before Him, when He spoke: ‘Blessed Thou Art,’
Hanging on each utterance, repeating softly, every part.

His Love hung heavy above the ground, each person felt it there,
Love so thick and sticky, it clings to the clothing and the hair.

Love like honey fresh from the comb, does fill their every heart,
Sticking to their heart and mind, their every mortal part.

The more He spoke, the more they Loved, the more they wanted more,
This man from Galilee was speaking, as to be heard on distant shore.

The Joy of love did overflow, making heart feel great in size.
To a point where many ‘drank of the cup,’ or loose the Wedding Prize.

Off to the side great fear did rein, the Priest’s could see writing on wall,
This Man has every power they want, thus He must take a fall.

They dashed away, back to the Temple, to report the danger they had found,
And start their plot do stop this man, before he left them no one around.

To loose the people, they called sheep, from their corrupt control,
Would destroy their total livelihood, they’d founder, like ship on shoal.

The Roman Pilot has the power, to take away an human life,
They think it will be easy, but hadn’t thought of Pilot’s wife.

She had a dream the night before, about the Teacher from Galilee,
And begged her husband Pilot that this Teacher he not see.

They wish to kill an Holy Person, with no Sin at home in Him,
And anyone who takes a part commit’s an Unforgivable Sin.

Alas, her words were a tick too late, as Pilot gave in to the Priestly band,
To Crucify this simple man who Loved, and Healed, throughout the land.

This Man from Galilee did die, no one could stop the murder,
For God controlled every scene and word, as it was His order.

Perfect Body, Spirit, and Soul, was the only way to pay,
The price of my, and your sin, there is other way.

Only one thing, we must do, is ask Him in us reside,
As Bridegroom, in our eternal hearts, we, being His Bride.

    AMEN
