    Adopted Sons Love
    By Arley Steinhour 102311

Dear Father God, I love you,
    You light my very path,
You Guide me through this earthly zoo,
Never more will I see wrath.

My actions are stay true to you,
    Stay on the narrow path,
    Knowing I love only you,
    Eternal life, instead of wrath.

    The wind of mortal being,
does push me through the days,
    Sometimes dull of seeing,
    The trueness of your ways.

The road has been a long one
    The tread is wearing thin,
    Loving you and your Son,
    Your ways I stay within.

I'm searching for you on high,
    Through every waking hour,
    Watching every inch of sky,
    In Sunshine or in Shower.

    I have no other focus,
    I have no other plan,
    Weary of the locust,
My prayer book tight in hand.

You are my only life guide,
My days are filled with you,
Help me keep eyes opened wide,
Till my mortal days are through.

You may just call the Rapture,
    The Faithful, 'Up-Here' call,
    As Graduation comes for sure,
Class of one, or Snatched-up one and all.

The miles that I have traveled,
The sights that I have seen,
    The mornings I've been disheveled,
    The nights I've been unseen;

    You know my every movement,
My every thought of being true,
    You've guided my improvement,
Since I was reborn in you.

    You bless my every action,
    My every thought and deed,
In you there is no fraction,
I no longer be a weed.

I do so wish to worship,
    Before your Throne on High,
    It's been a Royal courtship,
    I'll Graduate, instead of Die.

    AMEN
    ps:
Years ago, I gave my heart,
    With this, I reaffirm,
    Eternally, In Him a part,
His Grace can Save a Worm.

I’ve been told I have some artistry,
    In the poetry, I do,
    Nothing like this Artist has,
Painting with Red, White, and Blue.

The way he throws the paint around,
Would put this one in jail
    With flying paint the hammer,
He strikes soundly on heart's nail.

I also send this to Dial-Up friends,
Though you can’t go to the show,
Send it to a neighbor who’s PC can,
So every heart, in God, can grow.
    AMEN

    Cherokee Rite-of-Passage
Author unknown, modified slightly by Arley 102711

    Cherokee Indian legend

Do you know the legend of the Cherokee Indian youth's Rite-of-Passage?

A boy's father takes him into the forest, blindfolds him and leaves him alone.

He is required to sit on a stump the whole night and not remove the blindfold until the rays of morning sun shine through it.

He cannot cry out for help to anyone, knowing he must survive the night, alone, to become a MAN.

He cannot tell the other boys of this experience, as each must come into manhood on his own.

The boy is understandably terrified. He can hear all kinds of noises. Wild beasts must surely be all around him. Maybe even some human might do him harm.

The wind blew the grass and earth, and shook his stump, but he sat stoically, never removing the blindfold. as the 'only way,' he could become a man!

Finally, after a horrific night, the sun appears, and he removes his blindfold. It was then that he discovers his father sitting on the stump next to him. He had been at watch the entire night, protecting his son from harm.

We, too, are never alone. Even when we don't know it, God is watching over us, sitting on the stump beside us. When trouble comes, all we need do is reach out to Him.

    Moral of the story:
Just because you can't see God doesn't mean He is not there, "for we walk by faith, not by sight." The sun is almost bright enough, to remove our blindfold, and see our Father, ready to take us home, as New Adults.

I pray, you have your mask on, and are also ready: To Graduate.
    AMEN

The mask removed at break of dawn,
    What sight do we see,
Our Father Protecting with His Love,
    Together, Forever be.
    AMEN

    No More a Weed
    By Arley Steinhour 102711

I ponder quite a bit on love,
    How can I qualify?
    Jesus hung upon the Cross,
For me, He did gladly die.

    Then, looking in the mirror,
I see this fat, old, sinful, man,
    Not wanting to see clearer,
    How bad I truly am.

I hear a chuckle in my head,
    While brushing on my teeth,
'You followed me where you were led,
    Though sightless, you had belief.'

Warrior for Jesus, I still be,
Cut the fog with poetic word,
Praising God, so blind can see,
    Ears opened, hear His word.

    I guess, I'm not a total loss,
    Jesus is proud of me,
Reborn, I am no longer dross,
In His service, I'm truly free.

    Come join me through eternity,
If you haven't yet joined the team,
Refuse Him, you'll be a casualty,
    Eternity, in nightmare dream.

    Only Jesus offers Redemptive Love,
    We only need accede,
Faith locks our answer with Him above,
And no more be we a weed.

    AMEN
    Bride of Christ, Man shall be. Be we Man, or be we Mouse;
'Bride' sounds so very feminine, I wish He'd called us Spouse. (^8

Bright and Sunny Job to Do
    By Arley Steinhour

Sing a song at top of lungs,
    When doing drudgery,
    Then, before not too long,
Your Eagle heart is winging free.

    You soar above the tree-top,
You poke holes in the cloud,
    Some folk think you obnoxious,
    For singing way too loud.

When they see the work you do,
    They might faint in shock,
You could be cleaning out a sewer,
In self-pity, you don't take stock.

Your world is bright and sunny,
Your song of love be clear,
    They grumble counting money,
Your witness they will seldom hear.

The thing that they don't understand,
Your song and love is not for them,
You praise your God for lending hand,
As you love and praise just Him.

    Ugly jobs still need doing,
A song helps make it fun,
    No matter what the 'drudgery,'
Volunteers are seldom more than one.

No one wants the job they have,
They cry and wail, that's all,
    Nothing makes them happy,
You'd even sing if locked in jail.

It takes a while to understand,
The joy of bright side thought,
    You'll have more fun accidentally,
Than they, with money, have bought.

Those brave enough to give a try,
Have more fun in a sewer,
Than fancy job, that they decry,
As joy-filled days keep getting fewer.

The key, to all the joy and fun,
Christ Jesus, is the only one,
    Focus on the Only Son,
Keeps woe's of Satan on the Run.

Keep your heart under Jesus' wing,
    Release your pain and woe,
    Grin and Sing, at everything,
Love and Joy, your heart will know.

    AMEN

He too is waiting for our Father to say,
    'Go, and bring Bride Home,'
Until Father God gives the OK, soon I pray,
I work in joy until graduated Home.

    Storm before the Calm
    By Arley Steinhour 103011

    Two Thousand years, Bad Weather,
Seven Years on Earth, Pure Hell,
    Millennium of Kingdom, Peace,
    Weather forecast, we know well.

    We're wrapping up the Badness,
    Get ready for Satan's Spell,
    Wheat and Tare Discernment,
Wheat Inherit Heaven, Tare Inherit Hell.

I've cited now, the easy part,
    God's word explains quite well,
    Man's Tribulation Experience,
    And diverse Harbinger of Hell

    Many people cease to 'Live,'
    Throughout that deadly 'Seven,'
    Satan having his 'Hay-Day,'
    Preventing many from attaining 'Heaven.'

    How can Satan Win the Day;
    When did all this start;
    Has everybody gone Insane;
    Doesn't Jesus have a Heart?

Pride tells Satan, he 'Can Win,'
He's been trying Six Thousand years,
    Refusing Jesus brings on 'Delusion,'
Death and Resurrection, paved 'Salvation Way.'

We only need accept His Gift,
    We must simply Change, Repent,
    Following, our LORD, and GOD,
Live In, our Holy Mansion Tent.

    Eternity, with GOD, HIS Gift,
    Redemption Price, we can't Repay,
Only Show our Love for HIM,
    Receiving, ONE, ...Joyous, ...Eternal, ...DAY...

    AMEN

Coming this direction, Storm Cloud on yonder hill,
No system for deflection, Soon we swallow Bitter-Pill.

Israel Re: Praise and Poetry by Arley

I offered this one, well mostly, about a year ago. Today, I thought I’d rearrange the format, but changes started popping up, and, well, this is the v2 of my now called: v1 of:

    The Watchman's Call v2
    by Arley Steinhour 111310

    Yell it from the Roof-tops,
At the corner of the street,
    Happy, yell the warning,
    To everyone you meet.

    God is getting angry,
    Wrath will fill His face;
No where can a nation flee,
    It cannot win the race.

    The Faithful know the ending,
    The unsaved never hear,
    They reject the warning,
    And order another beer.

    Don't ignore His warning,
    The Bible speaks quite clear,
    It warns of wrath befalling,
    Those who will not hear.

So, Yell it from the Roof-tops,
On the corner of the street,
    Loudly, yell the warning,
    To everyone you meet.

The Bride of Christ is ready,
    Awaiting patter of His Feet,
He comes to snatch away His Bride,
    Time of Separation, now complete.

Bride of Son, alert to hear,
    The Trumpets clean, clear tone,
Alerting all, who lends an ear,
    He does not come alone.

Yes, Yell it from the Roof-tops,
At the corner of the street,
    Trumpet, yell the warning,
    To everyone you meet.

    AMEN

    SOON
    By Arley Steinhour 103111

SOON, comes the day when we will Praise,
    With hearts opened wide,
Black and Yellow, Brown and White,
    Pure Love shall Abide.

No anger found, on that level ground,
    Harmony within your Sight,
Before your Throne, none stands alone,
We all live in your Light.

    Six Thousand years, many Tears,
    Watered Satan's ground,
So much Sin, love couldn't Win,
    Until Your Son was Crowned.

Heart opened wide, Sin can't hide,
True Love through Grace is found,
    Repentance the Key, Eternally Free,
    SOON, Living on Hallowed Ground.

    AMEN

    Community Blessing
    By Arley Steinhour 103111

    I take this opportunity,
    Sending Praise unto my Lord,
    Please bless Cambridge Super Market,
And the people they have on board.

    The market isn't fancy,
    City-folk might walk away,
    Choices, few, and pricey,
    Compared to Super Store display.

All the folk who work there,
    You'll find without a doubt,
    Offer Smiling Help, and Care,
    And they even 'Carry-Out.'

    Seldom found most anywhere,
Good neighbor service, so long gone,
Delivery to the door, they share,
When One can't shop on their own.

I offer up this Praise for them,
    in my country, clumsy way,
They make a person feel at home,
    And Light-up a shoppers day.

    AMEN

Perhaps we be behind the times, life helter-skelter everywhere,
Thank the folks who keep life nice, so they will 'longer' care.

    YOUNG AGAIN
    By Arley Steinhour 110111

    I think I'm getting older,
    In life, it's getting late,
    I know someone, in Heaven,
With whom, I have a date.

    Arms spread wide,
    He'll welcome me,
    To Where I'll abide,
    With Him Eternally.

    God makes it plain,
    There is no end,
    To being young again,
With Jesus, as God and Friend.

Keep the Shofar in your hand,
    Eye upon the sky,
He's coming soon, but will not land,
    Like thief, He'll just fly by;

    Snatching Bride, so quickly,
    in the 'Blink of Eye,'
    We won't see Tribulation,
And we never more can 'Die.'

    AMEN

    A Rambling Ponder
    By Arley Steinhour 110111

Now and then, I have a thought, that needs be written down,
Something that will bring a smile, or once in a while a frown.
Thoughts that need considering, before they fade away,
If I don't get it written down, there is naught to say.

I have a very short time, to get it on the record,
Or else my mind will lose it all, patterns become checkered.
It stirs them up, and throws them out, that is what it's doing,
I am pondering, what I want to say, no time left for chewing.

Thoughts, about Christianity, maybe being gone,
Elenin the comet, maybe tag along,
Some thought it could be part of Prophetic fame,
Some thought, those thinkers brought Christian 'Shame.'

NASA said it 'self-destroyed,' the sun just tore it up.
Ironically, they didn't say, why the Sun didn't 'suck it up'
Flying in sync with Mercury's orbit path,
It came as close as it could, to Suns Fire-Wrath.

Energy of plasma just smacked it in the face,
Elenin sent to La, La, Land, nothing left to erase.
Many folk, thought NASA lied, myself included here,
Most folk, read the NASA news, and gave a great big Cheer.

I had a feeling, there was more than met the eye,
Elenin, just not being there, required something in the sky.
Still there is a Brown Dwarf sun, that is long overdue,
Possibly another sign, to concern both me and you.

A young man said this morning, on a site that I tuned in....
Coincidence is just 'too great, without 'this' having to do with 'Him,' ...
Now there is something that I know, that 'Him' is God on High,
Fixing things to send tribulation on, before too many die.

Well folks, I don't know what to say..Chicken Little has lots of friends,
Think I might be one of them, scare-de-cats are like book-ends.
Telling folks that this may be Gentile's end, words no one wants to see,
With all of this, I must say, Somehow it don't quite fit, Bible Prophecy.

Fall Feasts of god, are now complete, without happenstance,
Until first part of November, 'The End' still had a chance,
Everybody was so wrong,, as NASA told the truth , ha, ha,
Worst thing happening was "Spring song," a Bru-ha-ha-too.

The movie called '2012,' though secular in design,
Clipped in a little Christian faith, to make it look divine,
    Tweaking the mind, with events, some say no one will ever see;
They be so very, very, wrong, just check 'Disaster History.

Liquefaction is the word, dirt turns to seismic sea,
Like in water, all sink out of sight. houses, trees, you and me,
    Even with buoyant jacket on, we sink into dirt and die;
God takes a hand, then we see what be, He would never lie.

Five Billion folk, may well die, or simply disappear,
That is a lot of holes to dig, but Christians won't be here,
    There is much on the platter, to ponder and chew with mind;
Watch the sky, spend time on knees, lest you be Left Behind.

Turn to Jesus, lift eyes and arms, give your heart to him,
Only in Christ Jesus, can God we see, and Heaven live within.
    'The father and I are one,' a quote, 'seen me, seen the father,' yet another;
Repent, Rebirth, Baptism, and you'll be a Sister, or Brother.

    AMEN

Determined as a Duck may be, like me it cannot fly,
Until everything is set aright, and then we say By-By.

    Old Folks Understand
    By Arley Steinhour 110411

Christians should know how to die,
But, Aging scares us plumb to death,
    Graduation, fly or die.
    Hard-thinking takes away our breath.

To the part we should know, no need to go,
The slow part, need pay attention to,
Bones and muscles, fade so slow,
    Yet, Over-night, can't tie a shoe.

The world looks kind of funny,
    Blurred, and hazy white,
Was that a deer, or just a bunny,
That just flashed through my sight?

    Fingers, once rock-steady,
    you'd think Masseuse would own,
Jiggle, and wiggle, at the ready,
But, can't find a muscle to tone.

Sitting on the floor is easy,
    Some would call it falling,
If nothing breaks, we got dizzy,
    The Doctor we're not calling.

With age, we smile much better,
When we see a long-lost friend,
'So glad to chat,' the banter,
If names were money, we've nothing to spend.

A line of pills, each morning,
Fuel us up to survive the day,
Retrieve teeth from jar by Corning,
So eggs and bacon don't get away.

    Pills taken, food fresh eaten,
Dust off crumbs, and square lapel,
    Another night we've soundly beaten,
God's gift, Ring the blessing bell.

    AMEN

    Month before Christmas
Author Unknown, (Altered by Arley Steinhour) 110511

    Twas the month before Christmas,
    And all through the land,
    Few Christians were praying,
    Or taking a stand.

    Why the P C Police,
    had taken away,
    The Reason for Christmas,
    No one dare say.

    The children were told,
By their schools not to sing,
    About Shepherds, Wise Men,
    Angels, and things.

    ‘You’ll hurt people's feelings,’
    The teachers would say,
    ‘Twelve Twenty-Five,
    is just called 'Holiday.’’

    Yet, shoppers were ready,
    With cash, check and credit
    Knocking folks to the floor,
Just to get, and buy it!

    CDs from Madonna,
    X BOX, or I-Pod
    The season was changing,
    Into something quite odd!

    Retailers promoted,
    Ramadan and the Kwanzaa
    In hopes to sell books,
    By Franken & Fonda.

    Target Stores hung,
    Their trees upside-down,
    At Lowe's, the word ‘Christmas,’
    Was no where found.

    At K-Mart, and Staples,
    Penny's, and Sears,
    Words ‘Merry Christmas;’
    Won't touch your ears.

    Inclusive, and Sensitive,
    Di-ver-si-ty,
    Words that were used,
    To intimidate me.

    Now Daschle, Now Darden,
    Sharpton, Wolf Blitzen
    On Boxer, On Rather,
    Kerry, and Clinton!

    All over Congress,
    Arose such a clatter,
    “Eliminate Jesus,
    In all public matter.”

    We spoke not a word,
    As they took our faith,
    Forbidden to speak,
    Of Salvation and Grace.

    The true Gift of Christmas,
    Exchanged and discarded,
    Reason for the Season,
    Stopped where it started.

    ‘Celebrate 'Winter Break,
    Under Dream Tree'
    Sipping your Starbucks,
    Please listen, Hear me.

    Pick your words carefull,
    Choose this to say:
    “MERRY CHRISTMAS, TO ALL,
    Not Happy Holiday!

    We Love one another,
    Wherever we meet,
With all, Please do share HIM,
    And His Love So Sweet.

    “Christ,” Reason For,
    Our, “Christ-mas Season!”
    Thinking any other thought,
    Could be construed as Treason.

Came to earth to pay the Price, of redeeming you and me.

    Angel Ponder
    By Arley Steinhour 110611

A Ponder, that I have come to mind,
    Every once in a while,
May have an answer, I can't find,
So, ponder is kept on file.

'How did the mighty Angels feel,
    When ordered to Stay-Back,
As Jesus let Death bite His heel,
Putting our 'Life-Train' back on track.'

He hung on Cross, as Sacrifice,
    Suffered Lashing, Nails, and Pain,
    Death pays complete Redemption price,
Did Angel's tears fall like rain?

Jesus said, if He spoke one word,
Twelve Legions of Angels would come,
But still that word was never heard,
The mighty Angels watched frozen Numb

The pain they felt, just standing there,
Must have torn their hearts to shreds,
For man, God died in great despair,
Angels could but bow their heads.

Someday, perhaps, when Time is no longer,
From an Angel, or maybe God,
The answer to my sometimes Ponder,
An answering smile, and a 'Howdy' head-nod?

My mortal mind filled with blather,
    compared to what Angels know,
    But, with Eternity to gather,
I'll know all I need to know.

    AMEN

    The Thunder rolled around the Sky;
    Did God, alone need Wail,
Or, did the Angels also Cry,
As we were redeemed, from Satan's Jail?

    Pondering
    By Arley Steinhour 110711

What happened to the good stuff we could buy?
What happened to the Ad that didn't lie?

What happened to the Church filled up with Love?
What happened to the God we sought above?

'The good stuff lasted far too long,' they cry.
'The Ad wasn't really lying, just being sly.'

Parents don't teach there is a God above.
Thus, God got set aside, by Push and Shove.

New-Age says man is God, personified,
'The Bible has done nothing short of Lied.'

They teach so many avenues to heaven,
What they teach is oh-so full of leaven.

Satan has many Lie-Aces, up his sleeve,
Christians are at a loss, what to believe.

So many Bible books that twist His word,
In far too many churches, lies are heard.

Faith on Jesus Justifies, by Grace, alone,
No way but through Jesus is the Throne,

The Narrow Path the 'Only' avenue,
    Any other teaching misleads you.

God never says Faithfull living won't have pain,
He's preparing us to welcome Jesus' Reign.

We, in Jesus, know where we spend Eternity,
Serving God, in Joyous Praise, a certainty.

No more concerned with how good things be,
Nor wondering, if anyone did lie.

No Church or Temple, to wonder where God be,
HE lives In our Hearts, throughout Eternity.
    AMEN

    I offer here a Praise/Poem,
That just came to my mind,
To a family, who live in UK,
    Nicer people you'll never find.

    They be a Christian family,
They praise God, day and night,
    They bury today the Matriarc,
At Eighty Three, she fought the fight.

    You and Yours Condolences
    By Arley Steinhour 110811
(In dedication to the grief of the Hughes Family)

To you and yours, I send my heart,
To hold a portion of your tears,
As you send home, your loving matriarch,
Who graced this world so many years.

I cannot say I love her,
    Near as much as family,
I can but guess the loving warmth,
You felt, bouncing on her knee.

I pray her welcome at Heaven’s Gate,
Went well, as St Peter led her within,
The joy she felt, we cannot rate,
    She’s young, and perfect thin.

    The grass and flowers serenade,
The trees dance in the breeze,
Jesus walks her ore the Glade,
At His feet, she’ll bend her knees.

She has a brand new Mansion,
    With everything just right,
She Praises Him, our God, the Son,
No Tears, no Pain, no Night.

So Praise the Lord dear family,
    The Christian thing to do,
As you pass the casket, remember me,
In Christian Love, I’m there with you.

    AMEN

When Age, pain, tears, and disability, leave your body for eternity,
It won't be long, before you are singing a ditty, about the Wonders of being FREE.

    Kingdom Next at Bat
    By Arley Steinhour 110911

Dear Father God, you are the Boss,
I have a Word Well dry as a bone,
Sitting here, no 'T's' to cross,
    Please pick up the phone.

Most of the time, when I type,
You and I, make one great team,
You provide the Words that Rhyme,
And I provide the finger steam.

You help me when I'm praying,
You help me when I wail,
You help me when I'm straying,
You keep me on your narrow trail.

The world is filled with trouble,
I know that you know why,
    Most people run and stumble,
    Too many fall and die.

    The time is almost over,
    The sky is getting dark,
Can't find a field of clover,
Bright call gone from meadow lark.

The sky is bright, with rockets flame,
    Israel quickly gets the Blame,
    Gangs of thugs, committing murder,
Of folks, with Jew or Christian name,

The killers swear they're the victim,
From a people filled with hate,
    Hate Freedom's Democratic system,
But, swear Sharia law is great.

Right is wrong, and wrong is right,
    is their Anti-Social attitudes,
Peace is out, they want to fight,
    Justified, by insane platitudes.

Come soon, Dear Lord, to close this time,
Let your Prophecy control the days,
Knowing that all will soon be fine,
When Jesus starts His Kingdom Ways.

    AMEN

    Aral Sea Song
    by Arley Steinhour 111011

I received an e-mail, and sent it on,
With photos of Sunken ships and all,
Many thoughts flowed, to think upon,
As I Wait for God’s Trumpet Call.

What was once an inland sea,
Now, Looks like a Parking Lot,
Ships that plowed the water free,
Are rusted hulks, in a waterless pot.

The only thing that sails there now,
    Are four-legged, two-humped kind,
Never more, storm waves to plow,
No dead Sailors to leave behind.

    The scene no longer secret,
Aral Sea has water, never more,
    Mans fresh-water needs defeat it,
Sea bereft, from shore to shore.

The photo's offer much to view,
and to ponder about going to sea,
Not here, perhaps, but others do,
Around the resting place, a bone or three.

There comes a day, in about a Thousand years,
Where the Oceans give up their dead,
At the time when there will be no more tears,
And God puts 'Mortality' to bed.

No tears, nor pain, no aging blight,
    With bodies young and strong,
We who through Jesus live in 'Light,'
Exist where 'Nothing' can go wrong.

    AMEN

    Days of Praise
    By Arley Steinhour 111111

    Where is the Praise,
    I love to raise,
It fills my heart and head.

    The only time,
    I cannot rhyme,
    Is when asleep in bed.

    My Praise to God,
    Is much like that,
    Audio Bible plays all night,

    Praise and Prayer,
    Always there,
With Him I have no plight.

    The word AMEN,
    means only then,
    I'm loading up a Praise,

    If I were a Trumpet,
    and not a crumpet,
My Praise the roof would raise.

    Faith song so strong,
    It wouldn't be long,
    I'd be quite a sight.

    Trumpets blazing,
    I'd be Raising,
    Reward for choosing His right.

    Up, Up, and away,
    That Fate filled day,
    My Savior looking my way.

    With Trumpets Blazing,
    We'll all be Praising,
Where it's always light of day.

    AMEN
