    Psalm 83 a Poetic Paraphrase
    By Arley Steinhour 051411

Oh, Father God, keep silent not,
    There are those who war on us would make;
let us hear your voice speak hot,
Lest they come, to kill us for your sake.

For those who hate you, are out of control,
    These haters boldly lift angry head;
Wise planning against your chosen people,
A Coop group, intent to make us dead.

‘We come to kill the nation,’ they bellicosely call,
    Israel no longer be a word, in earthly memory;
To this end they all agree, the focus for one and all,
Hating us, remembered, we no longer be.

Edom, Moab, Ishmael, Hagar, and Gegal,
    Ammon, Philistia, Amalek, and Tyre too;
Up comes Assur, to join the crowd, etal,
Now the support of Lot’s children, what a stew.

Do to them as Midian, Sisera, Jabin, also as Kishona,
    Destroyed at En-dor, dust, and waste they became, with haste;
As their chiefs, Oreb, and Zeeb; rulers, Zebah, and Zalmunna,
Of that hateful army, you turned into earth-worm paste.

They would take your resting-place, your Mount. oh God,
    Oh God, on high, make them like rolling dust, dry stem never born;
As wood is eaten by the flame, or beaten by iron rod,
So blow your hot wind, they destroyed be, your Storm-torn.

Make us strong to overcome, as you greatly trouble them,
    Let them all be put to shame, absolute their destruction;
In such a way that men say, ‘Only Yahweh, God HaShem,
Ruler over Heaven and earth, the Most High’s sole construction.

    AMEN

    Great Snatching
    By Arley Steinhour 051611

The Rapture is truly coming, for those in Jesus to be free,
That truth is in the Bible, for every Soul to see.

So we can get ourselves prepared, for the day we fly away,
Those without belief in Jesus, simply do not go that day.

The Rapture is a real thing, happens soon, in blink of eye,
Believers, all, be Snatched away, for reward, beyond the sky.

‘Be Ready,’ is the buzz word, as we still don’t know the day,
‘As in the Day of Noah, and Lot,’ there is so much to say.

Noah had a Water storm, coming, for oer a Hundred year,
But Lot, had Sulfur, and flaming things, coming, very near.

Two different kinds of destruction, two times far apart,
It seems the only similitude, was they both had God in heart.

Something else fits in both stories, but so often people missed,
Both were placed in ‘Safety,’ before earth, destruction kissed.

Noah, had to build an Arc, to save all the animals around,
Lot was given an hour to escape, and gain safest ground.

God don’t figure to harm the Faithful folk, those who be in Him,
Thus the Rapture, of the millions, as earths population He does Trim.

Being saved from Tribulation has nothing to do with deserving,
Only Holy Spirit need go, but without abode, be quite unnerving.

Through God’s Grace, we’re saved from Sin, even Tribulation,
Through a Rapture, sometime soon, Christians from every Nation.

So, if your standing near a Christian, and they pop right out of sight,
Know that they’ve flown to the Light, and you are left in Night.

The door to Jesus, not quite closed, so time is there for your Conversion,
You missed the flight, but leave the night, Millennial Covenant Salvation.

    AMEN

    Could-a Would-a Should-a
    by Arley Steinhour 051611

When a person wastes what can be,
For a can of 'could have been,'
They refuse all gifts of God, to be free,
To hug, tight, an empty tin.

We come, we go, we're mortal,
    With no written guarantee;
We stand at ship of life's portal,
Wishing for that which cannot be.

The gulf between, no bottom has,
    The breadth is many feet,
We need get on before life pass,
    Into Eternity, so sweet.

But, if we wail, and worry,
    Throughout each and every day,
Our heart with mold gets furry,
Fills the mind with deep dismay.

    So shake the heart, resuscitate,
    before life goes away,
    Excessive mourning wipes the slate,
of mortal experience away to stay.

    Place all those mortal memories,
Into a heart place soft and warm,
    Remember those are Histories,
Make new places for life to swarm.
    AMEN

Would you cheapen your Blog with pay??
To that, fool, I say No Way.

Heartfelt must have a price that's free,
Or your couldn't sell a thing to me.

I share my gift of banter and time,
    Offering things that sometime rhyme;

    Praising God, the only One,
Doing that, is so much fun.

Perhaps we reach a broken heart,
    Or person's Blahs, quick a Jump-start;

    To Rev-away their mortal pain,
As on Life's garden, we provide soft rain.

    Confession and Challenge
    By Arley Steinhour 051611

I never learned to fly alone, I have good reason why,
Every time I had to fly, Jesus drove, so I wouldn’t die.

You’d think there’d be no problem there,
    Jesus flying me everywhere;

But Jesus never took a lesson, and hazards wouldn‘t dissipate,
But, He always managed to save the day, before it was too late.

The first time was a Piper cub, in nineteen forty seven,
    Pilot went to spin the prop, in seat was naught, but heaven;

I guess he forgot to trim the gas, as it caught at full R P M,
Off we went, across the grass, pilot, bouncing on his, AMEN.

As plane left ground, he bounced, somehow, within,
Took us up, flew round about, for minutes, five or ten.

Another time, years after that, flight from Denver, to LA,
Plane left the ground making ugly sounds, hydraulics wouldn’t Play.

Up the valley between two mountains, trees trying to slap the wing,
What thrust we had, was pretty bad, I knew we’d feel deaths sting.

Only moments before impact, hydraulics did then cooperate,
Cleared the trees, and mountain top, with less than ‘feet’ to calculate.

The worst time Jesus had to work was at thirty three thousand feet,
Ready to descend, plane fell from sky, faster than gravity, Oh, neat!!

People pinned to ceiling, my belt held me close to seat,
San Francisco, coming up fast, again I knew I was dead meat.

But Jesus found the proper switch, and again did save the day,
One Thousand feet from Tara-FIRM, we leveled out, some way.

That be only a few of times that Jesus saved my life, and more,
    So many times He saved my life, in planes, or distant shore;

How many times must one be saved, before returning to God on High,
And why does it always take a time, when surely he’s going to die??

Survive from death, ten times or more, God would know the count,
This mortal man returned to Him, as if Vengeance were his mount.

Accepting that He died for me, with nails driven through His hands,
Jesus, be his English name, God, and King of Christian Bands.

He makes me feel He died just for me, but that would leave folks out,
And one thing Jesus wouldn’t do is leave one lamb on hill, without.

He looks for us, the wayward lambs, with diligence and strength,
When He finds us ready, carries us all that distance length.

Two Thousand years, and far, far, more, He’s been saving life,
Physically, and Spiritual, that we be part of Family, called Wife.

Some say that I do weary them, about Jesus, I can’t stop talking,
Some of my friends and family, get up when I do, and start walking.

I have been told so many times, folks won’t come if I speak of Jesus,
For them I cry, and wonder why, yet know that they think Hell freezes.

Too many years, I neglected them, by being mad at man-made Church,
Mad at man, I turned away, but He wouldn’t leave me in the Lurch.

He saved my worthless bacon, time and time again,
Not talking about Jesus now, would be a mortal sin.

    AMEN

    Midnight Blues
    By Arley Steinhour 051711

Dear Jesus, it is four A.M. a time I’m seldom awake,
Waking up, I feel fully rested, and ready this day On to Take.

I don’t know why you woke me up, really do not care,
Just want to do as you’d have me do, let words fill the air.

I woke up thinking all about events when I was three,
My life accelerated to warp two, childhood gone from me.

Don’t get me wrong, I had my games, and funny things to do,
But being an ordinary three, was something that was through.

Home from Church, that fateful day, December Seven, Forty-one,
That day that lives in Infamy, when the whole world went under the gun.

I learned months later that war had been on the agenda since Thirty-nine,
But hadn’t reached the U. S. A. until Japan did lay war on the line.

Today, I fear for Israel, with fifty-seven hate-filled Nation Foe,
Chomp at the War-Bit, to send Israeli, where they want them to go.

Could this be the reason, you woke me up this night, so dark,
To tell me that Psalm eighty-three, has just began to Bark?

Or, maybe you were lonely, and wanted prayer to you, from me,
Prayer that fills my heart to the brim, no mater what or where I be?

If that be the case, no mater what, then Dear Lord, here I be,
With heart in hand, and Praise on lips, for you and world to see.

Morning time, in Israel, off to work in U K, and in all of E U stead,
May Your Will be Done, throughout the Med, now all are out of bed.

My Ego much prefers to think, you wanted to hear me pray,
As many souls this fate-filled day, would rather fight than play.

The news will tell me soon, I know, if there be anything in the world,
Worthy of my tears or joy, or Politics, or Blogging, to other folk untold.

I go to search, the either-ways, to see if there be any news,
Or realize, I’m just barking, because I have the midnight blues.
    AMEN

    Giant Step in Life
    By Arley Steinhour 051711

Graduation, come and gone, a Giant Step in Life,
Onward upward, is the goal, through happiness and strife.

All events that happen, moulds character into shape,
Character of Gold and Silver, but sometimes needing crape.

Most go on to Tech school, or College, to improve,
To study for a better life, than fitting into a labor groove.

Technology, not long ago, doubled every twenty years,
Today it doubles every two, bringing everyone to tears.

With that problem, no one can quit their learning,
Work eight, study eight, does anyone smell Rome burning?

Some how the students of today, must find a better way,
To work and learn, as they go on, and still have a better day.

The person who stops learning, laying back for just a while,
Will in short order, not have a job, and find it hard to smile.

Don’t let this news deter you, enjoy the technology race,
Always wear your running shoes, and set a faster pace.

Don’t live beyond your income, that trap will cause a stall,
The slightest problem could crush your life, then no curtain call.

No matter good, no matter bad, remember you be you,
With the proper attitude, you’ll never be a worn out shoe.

Enjoy the life within your grasp, excess you need pooh-pooh,
Best to live without an item, than without a home for you.

I wish you all, the very best, the race has just begun,
With determined smile, lace up racing shoes, and Run.

    AMEN

    That Which Follows
    by Arley Steinhour 051811

YouTube - Hippies - Crying Over Dead Trees

I saw so many Hippies, who took drugs, and lived in holes,
Singing Com-by-ah and such, Free Love their Social goals.

They’d sit about a camp fire, with Love or Death the conversation,
Puff a joint, pop a pill, and plan on building a brand new nation.

Luckily for them that were, camcorder not yet invented,
Alas, today has changed that, forever privacy circumvented.

People who record a clip, to express their malcontent,
Must live now, however long, and to that clip, Pay Rent.

Jesus said it very well, ‘That which crosses lip be much alive,’
Shadowing life of utterer, throughout, where ere they strive.

Husband Earth, we all must do, without a worship blathering,
Only God is worthy, of an Holy Worship gathering.

Praise the Root that give us Life, not a root of long dead tree,
Cry out with Love, and Subjugation, to our God on bended knee.

    AMEN

    Sneaky Help from God
    By Arley Steinhour 051811

I like the words of Praise you give me, I really, truly, do,
Without prompting, Praise comes to mind, as if out of the blue.

My heart needs-be focused, on Praising You and only You,
Words then fill my heart, so plentifully, expressing Love so True.

Some days, I may just sit here, with a blank look on my face,
A look that is so empty, there be room for stars, from Space.

But that won't make me worthy, Stars have their own abode,
My empty look is still quite full, since 'Nothing,' is a heavy load.

The 'fuller-up' my heart is, the lighter be my 'empty' weight,
Overflowing, so much better, to share your Love, I cannot wait.

Beyond the door, called mortal death, I'll step with sparkling eyes,
Graduating, to stand before You, to never more hear mortal lies.

Evil that might still be in me, for that Eternal life I start,
Will melt away, as I pass through, the Flaming judgment on my heart.

So, keep the Praises coming, Lord, as you know the words you like,
I'll just be a loving mouth-piece, knowing Home-Run, never Strike.

I tried to put this together, as I sneaked words behind your back,
But you sneaked in and fixed it, keeping my Love and Praise on track.

    AMEN

    Falling Away Today
    By Arley Steinhour 051911

Betray your people, if you will,
    You’ll find it is a bitter pill;

A pill chocked full of hate and pain,
No moral man need endure that Rain.
    (Psa 11)

In Rain Forest, where the trees grow tall,
Number one killer is when a limb does fall.

Or maybe a Church filled with a Sahara of sand,
Living water not offered, yet with plenty at hand.

Seeking a profit, over mankind’s survival,
Betrays, far beyond any chance of revival.

The Sheep will be lost, Living Water, not found.
Woe shall be Storm on Church leaders, not ground.
    (Mat 18:7)

There’s movement afoot, to say ‘No more I be Christian man,’
    But of faith in sharia, from mohammed’s word, in quran;
    (Joh 5:43)

The ploy used today, a uniquely phrased offer, to chooser,
‘It’s a religion of Peace,’ yet are ordered to kill, a refuser.

Many young souls, without a Bible education,
    Are ‘Falling Away, denuding this Christian Nation.;
    (2Th 2:3)

Those ‘Falling Away,’ may end in Spiritual ditch,
They could lose Salvation, the moment they switch.

God soon will send mountains, from space into Sea,
    Sprinkle Wormwood on rivers, to poison many that be;
    (Rev 8:8-11)

No person be ’Safe,’ as the Seals, all are broken,
After the Church hears: ‘Come up here,‘ bespoken.

We may pay a great price, for those that do Fall,
    Blood of their falling, may pin some to the Wall;

Our Bema Judgment, may suffer much ‘Loss/Dross,’
Reward, we thought earned, not earned, per the Cross.
    (1Co 3:13-15)

May our hearts reawaken, and take back our Faith,
    Jesus is watching, few Christians be Safe;

One Hundred and Forty Four Thousand can’t fail,
The rest of the Faithful, ‘could’ still go to Jail.
    (Mat 7:21-23)

So, rally to Jesus, let-not Satan Trespass with his sin,
Only with Jesus, at our side, can we cry out: WE WIN!!

    AMEN
    (Mat 6:13b)

They say that only ten percent of Muslim are radical in behavior, But that means only One Hundred Million want to make Jew and Christian dead, with their head completely severed.
The moderate, however, is moderate only until the radical tells them to become radical, or die. Then we could have over One Billion radical of mindset. Perchance?

    Questions and Answer
    By Arley Steinhour 051911

How many good men have come and gone, before this life of mine,
How many blessed men and women have put life on the line?

How many children's fragile bones, were broken climbing trees,
How many cuts and bruises, have found a home upon their knees?

How many cats, can sing all night, when the mood does suit them right,
How many dogs need be in town, before one picks a back yard fight?

How many nights will I yet lay my head, upon sheets soft and white,
How many days, will I yet arise, to greet sun glowing oh so bright?

How many questions are there, one could ask for answer true,
How many answers are there, when there is but one of You?

Ah-Ha, I think I have it, not the questions asked that's right,
I know exactly what it is, it's my God, the answer, in my sight.

Thank you for the time, dear God, I'll sleep throughout the nights,
Soundly sleeping, as I enjoy, dreamland's glorious sights.

    AMEN

    Rapture May Twenty One
    By Arley Steinhour 052011

Sunday is a day, I fear, when Christianity, suffers haunt,
    Saturday‘s for-sure Rapture, News men, and women, taunt;

The Rapture date has come and gone, with no people gone,
Other than normal demise, you all have been a pawn.

I could be wrong, and if I am, please have a laugh on me,
I won’t be here to hear the taunts, I’ll be with my family.

There is no way to say for sure, until the event be,
Jesus comes to ‘Snatch-away,’ for His Royal Family.

Saturday, May twenty-one, people will be watching,
Do we fly, or false prophecy die, for much later debating.

Sadly, for those who study hard, will then become a pawn,
Reputations in derision, respect and trust be gone.

The taunting and the nasty words, will denigrate the faithful,
If no one comes to beat us up, I guess we must be grateful.

The End of Days is coming, and now no one will early know,
Anyone studying Prophecy, will have no one left to show.

Months and Months will need to pass, before things settle down,
By then, perhaps the Snatching is done, as we least expect a crown.

So Keep the Watch for Jesus, as He soon will yet be sighted,
Never take your eyes off Him, or the path of which He’s lighted.

Mankind loves to make mistakes, and muddle up the show,
Satan loves to accuse us all, when the end he doesn’t know.

Mr. Camping may have made a dent, in Jesus’ retrieval of the Bride
If he figured close enough, to force plan ‘B,’ that Jesus did hide .

    AMEN

    Truth Today Maybe
    By Arley Steinhour 052111

Father God, I come before you, on this fateful day,
Wondering if I feel rightly, or perhaps the piper pay?

The news is having hay-day, with what he ‘prophesaid,’
Do they just want to make a buck, before putting news to bed?

When I see the Christian attitude, my heart wants to cry,
This fellow, Harold Camping‘s Rapture, does he really lie?

Reaction to this attitude, pain in my heart takes toll,
Are we more worried about position, in an opinion poll?

Do we reach-out to the wayward, and offer helping hand,
Or throw them from our Christian Bus, into deserted land?

I don’t agree with what he says, too little proof to see,
Doesn’t hazarding all one has, mean they offer all they be?

Only you, oh, Father God, know when the Son comes for the Bride,
Covenant Ready, then has no chance, to snatch Jacket on this side.

I guess my query’s over, as to your coming, I’m satisfied,
Just so long as this Christian man, can be part of the Bride.

    AMEN

    Truth Today on Rapture
    By Arley Steinhour 052111

Mr. Camping was wrong it seems, now many faithful on street will roam,
And some, perhaps, most sadly, have lost, much more than their home.

I thought I had the answer, back in Oh-nine with day not hour,
But somehow, my good answer, managed to Royally go sour.

My yearning was to graduate, and I guess something got overlooked,
God's will for man, or perhaps even, the Heaven plane was overbooked.

Once again we settle down, and wait another while,
Jesus should be coming soon, so wait on Him, and smile.

Keep the Faith, and keep the job, no mortal mans word on top,
Read your Bible, focus only on Jesus, and time will never stop.

    AMEN

    Wedding Feast, or Wailing Heart
    By Arley Steinhour 052211

Blessed are you, Oh, Lord our God,
    King of the Universe;
Who gave us your only Son to bear the Rod,
To pay for our Sin filled curse.

Two thousand years, we've come and gone,
Your Son's name on our tongue,
Two thousand years, we've remained like stone,
    Your Son's song still unsung.

    The time you have allotted,
to be called 'Finished' very soon,
How many names have you blotted,
For living desolate as the moon.

Faith in Christ, should be complete,
    The whole world, in harmony,
Praise and Worship at His feet,
    Set for Bridegroom's Matrimony.

No matter, soon, you close the Gate,
    The Wedding Feast to start,
Those not seated at table, be too late,
Will Gnash the teeth, and Wail in heart.

    AMEN

The Table is set, the food prepared, instruments finely tuned,
waiting for the Father to release the patient Bridegroom.
Are you invited?? Check your Heart,
    Once the doors close,
there will be no quick 'Jump-start.'
    AMEN

    The Race
    By Arley Steinhour 052211

Blessed are you, Oh, Lord, our God,
    Who’s breath keeps our flag unfurled;
Keep enemy swords at bay, with Iron Rod,
Safe from lances, also at us hurled.

Please do this, not for aught we’ve done,
But, like Salvation, through your Grace,
May our enemy be kept on the run,
Until worthy of, being in your race.

The race I speak of, leads straight to you,
    The only goal worth achieving,
Participants surrender to your love true,
Fleet of foot blessed, for just believing.

Who are we, to stand before our God,
To ask boon of blessing from the Son,
We are those who trust, in Him that wields the Rod,
Begotten Son, Jesus, your ‘Only One.’

    Please bless this wayward nation,
On this Planet full of hate,
    Remember you gave us station,
    Though we repent quite late.

    AMEN

    TEARS
    By Arley Steinhour 052311

Tears of Pain, once fell like rain,
There seemed naught else to do,
So many tears, I felt I’d go insane,
    I then ‘stumbled’ over You.

    I lay there, pain-filled, crying,
I knew naught else to do,
You touched and quelled my sighing,
I knew that it was you.

Lifted up, I tried to see,
    Your face and beauty know,
So many tears, flowing from me,
Not right for tears to show.

You touched my brow so tenderly,
    But tears continued, didn’t quell,
My tears turned into tears of Joy,
The difference even I could tell.

    Through tears of Joy, clarity,
    Focus on you complete,
Gave you my heart, all I be,
Only Joy-filled tears can wash your feet.

    AMEN

Take your pick as to the description of picture mood:

    Pain-filled Tears, many years complete,
    To find God's only Boy;
The task complete, here at your feet,
    Praise, with Tears of Joy.
    or
    Come surrender, your heart now,
    To God's only Boy;
His gentle touch, upon 'your' brow,
    turns pain-filled tears to Joy.
    or
Tears of pain don't clean the feet,
    they only make more mud.
Tears of Joy, tickle the toes,
    and wash off highway crud.

    SUNRISE SONPRIZE
    By Arley Steinhour 052311

This morning, as the Sun came up,
Number six thousand two hundred twenty five,
Praising God, arose, to break fast and sup.
Praise focused on, how long I’ve been alive.

I calculate, quite close, to be
    (Used my pocket calculator),
    Sun-rises more than memory,
Some bad, some good, some greater.

There was that time under the sky,
I slept quite well till morning,
Big drops of rain, hit me in the eye,
    Dark Cloud, intent on storming.

There was that time, another morn. of life,
Motel room, twenty miles from home,
Awakened, to smile at my new wife,
Only to board a train, to be off to sea alone.

    Then those other mornings five,
Marking heart with baby, newly born,
    Fat, sassy, full of life-drive,
Proud of all my children every Morn.

    Between each wake-up Sunrise,
A time to pray and rest the head,
    Preparing for final SONPRIZE,
Never more to rise from bed.

The time is coming, soon I feel,
    Bridegroom does Snatch away,
Taking Bride, that He does steal,
To Life, Forever and a Day.

    AMEN

    Riding By Blue String Way
    By Arley Steinhour 052311

My Blue, Velvet, String, on which I ride,
Seems almost never now to tangle,
My life has followed that which I can’t hide,
A voyage with a different angle.

Too many diversions to paint the scene,
    Too many memories deep inside,
Too few the inches upon the screen,
Some scenes, I’d prefer to hide.

The string I ride, God made for me,
No one else, my ride understand,
Years it took for me to ride free,
    Supported by His Strong hand.

    The scenery goes streaking by,
Much beauty there is to see,
So much that some may miss my eye,
Until grass paints like a tree.

The breeze of life flows past my face,
My ears hear the mournful sound,
    Of everything fitting into place,
As I step farther onto Prophetic ground.

So long as I’m making headway,
I know there is work to do,
    Even praising God each day,
With my heart, made pure and true.

Some days I think I see that end,
Others, string flows out of sight,
He’s coming soon, around the bend,
To take us where there be no night.

There’s plenty to do, and much to say,
Tune in to Jesus, your every day.

    AMEN

In Heaven, I'll feel much younger than now, but not this young, I pray. I'd like to enjoy Eternity, but not in a Diaper wearing Way. (^8

    MEMORIAM 2011

    By Arley Steinhour 052511

We have a country worth defending,
Some times it means a life is ending.

Through the years, when man goes wild,
Many good guys, no more make a child.

So, once a year we dedicate a day,
to celebrate those lost so far away.

Not many lands where we have no dead,
Many sleep with Tombstone at their head.

Freedom costs good lives through sacrifice,
One dead, a Million living free, fair price.

So say a prayer to God on High,
Bless them all up to the sky.

I viewed a video moments ago,
Go take a look, and you too will know:

God Gives Us Strength: ~~The Cost of One~~

Remember them all, in a silent prayer,
They all, as I, will say "All is Fair."

    AMEN
