I'm actually not a "beach person". If I HAD to go, I would probably cover up and try to build a sandcastle.

    Do you have any phobias?

This is a joke, right? Real ketchup is ONLY Red! (Purple ketchup...)

If you could become a "skilled" craftsman or tradesman overnight, would you prefer to become a plumber, an electrician, a cabinet maker, or something else. Why?

A rocking-chair maker. Yes. Because rocking-chairs are a wonderful invention.

That's a hard one! Lots of people are funny sometimes--but not always. Especially, when they start using foul language because they think that that's funny. Funniest person of "all time", I would say the late Gracie Allen, the wife of George Burns. She was a comedic genius and almost the "inventor" of the dumb blond routine. I LOVED her!

Do you generally eat breakfast, or just "skip it"?

We usually "skip it" and eat "brunch"

As long as we are speaking of breakfast, what is your favorite breakfast food?
2 John 1:5 And now I beseech thee, lady, not as though I wrote a new commandment unto thee, but that which we had from the beginning, that we love one another.

2 John 1:6 And this is love, that we walk after his commandments. This is the commandment, That, as ye have heard from the beginning, ye should walk in it.

It's sort of a toss-up between pancakes and biscuits! Although, I eat biscuits more often, I REALLY get "cravings" for pancakes sometimes! (and not just for breakfast!)

And continuing with the breakfast theme, grits, hash browns, neither, both, or something else?

forget the grits! Two eggs over easy with sausage links and 2 slices of whole wheat toast!

Getting off the food topic (because it makes me hungry)...What is your favorite "traditional" hymn (no contemporary stuff...just an "old time" hymn)?

What do you do in a storm if the electricity goes out? Play cards, sing songs, read a book by candlelight...?

I'm originally from Louisiana. The hottest would probably be about 103 degrees (with humidity!). I lived through a winter in Northern Quebec. The coldest that I remember it getting that winter was about -35 degrees with a wind chill factor of -50 degrees!

I've lived outside my province, but never outside my country. One day I want to up and move to... Fiji. Yes, Fiji sounds great.

What did you consider to be the greatest innovation of your generation? The ubiquitous cell phone? The laptop computer? The microwave? 8 track tapes?() The television? The automobile?

No, I guess that I'm the last person in the "civilized" world not to have one!

Do you remember when you could go buy $5 worth of gasoline and not only would they NOT laugh at you, but they would smile and check the oil in your car and clean your windshield?

Yes...those were the good old days....also remember when gas was .25-.35 a gal too! Wasn't that in the 70s?

Are you doing anything special for the 4th of July holiday?

I don't remember gas being that low. The lowest that I remember gas being was about 45-50 cents a gal and that was in the early 70s. Doesn't mean that it wasn't lower--just that I don't remember it.

Are you doing anything special for the 4th of July holiday?
Not that I know of. Who can afford to actually DO anything?? As far as driving anywhere goes, I try to stay off of the road and leave it for the drunk drivers on holidays!

    What's your favorite holiday?

Do you think that it is permissible for a young lady (or old one) to ask a man out on a date? (Wow! this is a "loaded" one!)
