Saints gotta learn it's great to start strong, but you gotta keep up the intensity to the end. Hartley's gotta settle down in clutch situations. can't be hooking three kicks in three games when you're playing indoors, especially from the 29. And what was with Brees making some big mistakes? You don;t expect those from him.

But the bright side is this year's D line is stronger, and while the secondary is still getting carved up from time to time (look at what Gonzales did) due to their turnover style of defense, overall they are playing very well. I'm not worried about one loss. It should help the team analyze its performance and thus stronger. As in life, we usually learn a lot more from our failures than from our successes.

On the with Brees right now giving him what for then the coach will hear from me
Titus 2: 1 But speak thou the things which become sound doctrine: 3The aged women likewise, that they be in behaviour as becometh holiness, not false accusers, not given to much wine, teachers of good things; 4That they may teach the young women to be sober, to love their husbands, to love their children, 5To be discreet, chaste, keepers at home, good, obedient to their own husbands, that the word of God be not blasphemed.

Yeah! I guess he figured, since it is sudden death in OT, that all he needed was a quick and easy 3 points. Guess he didn't consider Hartley missing a 29 yarder in the dome.

Romans 13:11 This is all the more urgent, for you know how late it is; time is running out. Wake up, for our salvation is nearer now than when we first believed. 12 The night is almost gone; the day of salvation will soon be here.

Typical post-Super Bowl champ swoon...Pittsburgh experienced it last year, the Giants swooned in the 4th quarter the year before, the Steelers the year after Bill Cowher left, and the Pats ditto after they won their 3rd title in 4 years.

You don't get many opportunities to win even 1 Super Bowl, much less play in 2 or 3, at least the Saints made the most out of their opportunity last year.

In the meantime, the Colts are a solid 2-1 and in decent shape - very surprising b/c the Super Bowl LOSER generally underperforms and has rashes of key injuries the year after(ie-the Pats losing Brady in 2008, the Bears losing 1/2 of their defense in 2007, etc).
