Strong 6.0 magnitude quake strikes off Taiwan - Yahoo! News

A strong 6.0-magnitude quake struck off Taiwan early on Sunday, US seismologists said, but no tsunami warning was issued.

The US Geological Survey said the quake had a depth of 70 kilometres (40 miles) and hit around 5 am (2100 GMT Saturday), some 50 kilometres east of Su-ao in the northeastern Yilan county.

Taiwan's Seismology Centre recorded the quake, which was felt in Taipei and islandwide, at 6.5 on the Richter scale. The Pacific Tsunami Warning Center did not issue a warning.

We had one in Australia as well not very strong in Northern New South Wales. Not that we have never had one in that region before but it is rare. The locals were taken by surprise. Only minor damage reported.

I was reading that there are more than a million earthquakes every year everywhere ........

So.....I really believe that Jesus was referring at various earthquakes in divers places referring at the Great Tribulation period...and I believe they are going to be pretty massive and destructive for Him to put an emphasis in the contest of the various plagues and judgements that
will befall a Christ rejecting world under the sway of the AntiChrist and False Prophet and all.
