    Default Do you use Google?

Starting today, the history of your web searches and site visits that Google has been tracking will be shared across all of Google's products: YouTube, Google+ and other Google accounts including gmail.

Online privacy may not matter to some so for those, feel free to ignore this post. I have nothing to hide, however I prefer not to have my benign and 'boring' internet use become a tool for marketing purposes or whatever else their data mining is used for.

CBS News addresses how to remove your Google web history with easy to follow instructions and pretty pictures, too

Uh, "The Page Cannot be Found". Go figure
Ephesians 5:18 (New King James Version)

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

I Come To The Garden Alone Hymn

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

I have been thinking about this quite a bit lately. I started thinking, "How is the AC going to convince people to take the mark, when even people that do not study the Bible know of 666, the AC and the mark?" I am starting to think there is going to be something so benign, like facebook or google+, even twitter. All these sites that people seem to think they cannot do without, that in order to keep these accounts they will have to be linked to the global economy. People will most likely sign up, even though they might have reservations. Simply because they cannot imagine their lives not linked to social media. Just like right now many of us have reservations about the new google policies, but most of us are probably not willing to stop using the services simply because we can more easliy be tracked.

Just some rambling, but something that was on my mind.

I use duckduckgo now. Duckduckgo doesn't data mine and doesn't provide biased search results.

Thank you - I'll use that from here on out!

I don't use google for searches and I don't have a youtube log in - all I have is one gmail account.
I was shocked to see how much information Google had stored about the sites I have visited.

I've wondered the same... If the world will worship the beast and take his mark doesn't that imply being willing to make a choice more serious than just social ties? I guess I just imagined the choice being clear at the time it's made. God would not finally condemn souls that simply made a mistaken choice about one thing. Or would He?

The "mark" will be given to those who freely choose to worship the Antichrist. Those who accept it will not be making an innocent mistake. The following will help:

What is the mark of the beast (666)?
    and
    Denying The Faith | GraceThruFaith
    or
OSAS And The Mark Of The Beast | GraceThruFaith

The issue I have with data mining, loss of privacy and biometric technology is that it can and probably will be used to easily identify and track down my (our) unsaved loved ones during the tribulation.
IMO, by making my life an open book I will be placing a target of sorts on those I love who were left behind. I have faith they will be saved (eventually), but I also believe that if they could remain somewhat "under the radar" for even a few more days, they may be able to better assist in thwarting the beast and lead more to salvation through Jesus.

Yes, yes you are right. I was just thinking people would be so enamoured with their mind numbing social media that they will eagerly follow anybody rather than risk losing their ability to use these resources.

It isn't really a statement of what is going to happen, because we do not know how or through what means. We do know this won't be done blindly. I just think people, even those with reservations, will be willing to do anything and follow anybody to keep their lives "status quo".
