Cell phones and radiation, we bring it on ourselves

I've often heard of radiation and cell phones. I do remember older reports about this, and that at the time the amounts o radiation was considered inconsequential. Just today I learned something rather alarming today. One of my fellow coworkers fell asleep on her cell phone. The results of which was that she received a radiation burn on her face. I wish I could say I was making this up but I'm not.

It seems that more and more that all of the things that man is so very proud of are usually the things that are so very bad for us. Cars pollute the very air we breathe. The fact that we consume so many plants and animals that are genetically modified and or have tons of hormones. Everything one puts into our bodies will have an afect upon it. As an example I've heard o 8 year old girls who have had their first periods.

I also remember the fact that my mother used to tell me not to stand/sit so close to out television. Now I work at a computer screen or a large part of my day, as I work as a pharmacy technician. Imagine what these items are doing to our eyes and the rest of our health.
The simple fact is that the book of Revelation talks about famines and plagues, with great portions of the world dying. One does not have to wonder if these things might not very well be something we have done to the World we were given. I just wanted to throw this out there and see what you guys thought. But I was rather alarmed by finding out about the radtiation burn my coworker received today. She's alright, but I wasn't aware of this before now.

I don't know the answer to that question. I do know that I personally know 5 people that have had, currently have, or have died from a brain tumor. I am not sure if this number has always been the average and technology is just that much better at picking this awful disease up, or if the rates have indeed increased. It definitely is something to ponder. One thing is common though, people tend to reckognize their Lord when they get these life threathening diseases, so maybe it's more complicated than radiation exposure.

I was doing research on the internet for health risks because of computer wireless connections that a friend was pushing. It seems that the Russians will not allow microwave ovens or wireless connections, and probably cell phones because of the radiation hazard. They all use close to the same frequency.

Then again I worked with one guy; who had been in the navy, who told me about the one time when he was in where somebody else left nuclear material from a submarine in their back pocket. Lost his leg and eventually his life from that. I've been hearing that scientists have been mixing human genetic material in with certain animals. I know of at least sheep. This is extremely creepy, but hey it advances science so its okay...:( Would make me wonder if some of the food I'm eating might include some of humanity. I'm not interested in becoming a cannibal. I'm sure everybody here has heard of the RFID chip that people can have implanted that stores information about you. Not something I'm interested in at all. What if it has a short? What if someone hacks into it? Not to mention the obvious issues with privacy, because frankly it would allow a person to be tracked down anywhere. All anyone would have to do is follow the signal. Then one has to wonder if this or a variation o it might not have to do with the mark of the beast in the future.

God gave us an intelligence to use and invent things with. I see no problem with technology that we use in our every day life such as computers, planes, cell phones, microwaves, etc that all emit some form of radiation. Won't even get into the radiation that electric generators and motors emit as it is all over the place frequency wise....

let me give you an example

1980's CAFE car (Fleet) average mpg was 20, 1980's car V8 125-180HP absolutely no safety besides seatbelts and airbags (very late 80's)

Diesel engines belched back smoke were inefficient and loud

2011 CAFE now it's 30 (Fleet) VSA, Multiple airbags, Traction control, ABS, crumple zones, substantially better performance, crash mitigation systems, auto transmissions that beat the pants off of manuals, V6's that average 300HP or more V8's with 500 or more....all thanks to that little thing called a microprocessor- something man created because God had given us the ability to learn and the free will to make our own choices.

Don't blame technology for man's shortcomings due to sin, blame man.....lithium ion or ploymr batteries explode to people getting cheap on the manufacturering side of things......

Anything electronic will emit some form of radiation, it's just the nature of the beast....even your body has an electrical field....

When the RFID chip first came out, I remember reading a book written by a woman who was not a Christian, I believe, but who did mention the book of Revelation, about sores and taking the mark. Turns out the chips can fry under certain circumstances and cause a terrible sore that will be hard to heal.

Also those chips, when implanted, lead to a large increased risk of cancer.

You guys are scaring me. I just had a 3" diameter 1/2" thick battery, that also has a microchip in it that stores the programs that connects to a leed that is laying in the epidural space right by my spine. The programs tell the battery which impulses to use, how strong the impulses should be and which part of the leed needs to fire. This is a last effort plan to help alleviate some of the terrible pain I am in on a daily basis because of 4 herniated discs and a collapse between L4 & L5. They never mentioned one single time that there was a cancer risk. This battery is far larger than any microchip, it is turned on by a handheld device that I place over the battery and it controls it through my skin and a layer of fat (they built a pocket between the fat and muscle for the battery to nest in. This is the surgery I just had in late December. So far the device is not helping because they cannot get it to program correctly so that it acutally stimulates the areas I have pain. The areas I have pain are in my back and down the back/side of my legs, not my abdomen and ribs and fronts of my thighs. They said to be patient. It is hard enough to be patient for this thing to work, let alone worry that it could be the cause of cancer. I am most definitely going to give this worry to the Lord. I don't need any extra worries on my hands.


P.S. This thing only stores programs, no information about me or my medical history, I don't know if it can or not but I am not going to ever let them input anything if it can, the guys that do the programming are not my doctors and they do not have my medical history to download. In fact it won't work without my controller, no other outside device can read it. It can be turned on and off with this really awesome high powered magnent, because it has a reed on it that flips back and forth for off and on.

So I suppose that you could say that it radiates if you consider a static electrical field as radiation. The car hits you. Is it the radiation that injures you? The point that I was making is that studies have shown that electromagnic radiation in the gigahertz range has been found to be hazzardous to life. Just like radiation from nuclear energy is harmful to life. What is important is the accumulated dose. A cell phone has to radiate enough power so that the tower can receive the information of your voice. Most cell phones control their output to just enough to be received. So if you want a better dose talk in your car or some other construct that attenuates the signal. It will talk louder to be heard. Normal biologic functions are performed at very low frequencies and are not harmful to life. FAITHINCHRIST: Your implant is not dangerous to you. It is low voltage, and either dc or very low ac. My dad was stationed on a nuke powered sub, and has since worked at nuclear power plants for more than 40 years...he gets checked with a geiger counter, and has to wear a radiation detection sensor throughout the day, and has never suffered from radiation-type illnesses....you are absolutely correct that accumulation matters the most in the damage it can cause. That being said, it's also important to mention that some people can be more sensitive to suffering from damaging stuff. (read: a 2 cigarette a day smoker dying from lung cancer, and a 3 pack a day smoker dying at 80 from getting hit by a car).

Gonna have to disagree there as people have been using stuff that emits massive amounts of radiation or exposing you to it for decades with no ill effect. Better not fly often as being in the upper atmosphere is bad for your health.....

Personally I think this is nothing more than fearmongering as it has been demonstrated beyond all doubt that the average lifespan of americans has beed steadidly increasing. Our demise and suffering are directly caused by our sinful nature and NOT our technology....

Bottom line 'rule of thumb' -- it's all about the amount of RF or EM power (field effect) that is absorbed by human tissue.

Higher power means more heat, more heat means tissue damage.

Low power... no worries... fuggedaboutit.
