Strange Noises?

I saw something written about strange noises being reported all over the world in the last week or so. I've not had time to read much about it. Has anyone else heard anything about this? Google

I will tell what it is not, UFO's picking up the "Aliens among us" that many conspiracy theorists are teaching. That said, the Bible does say the following:

Romans 8:20-23
²⁰ For the creation was subjected to futility, not willingly, but because of Him who subjected it in hope; ²¹ because the creation itself also will be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of God. ²² For we know that the whole creation groans and labors with birth pangs together until now. ²³ Not only that, but we also who have the firstfruits of the Spirit, even we ourselves groan within ourselves, eagerly waiting for the adoption, the redemption of our body.

That said, I am not saying dogmatically the Noises are the creation Groaning as above, but if they are not a hoax, it may the earth shifting ????? I am not a scientist and I am not qualified to make a judgment.

I think there was another thread that mentioned these 'noises'. I don't have a guess as to what they are, but our imagination is always more rich than the truth (read: the shirt poking out from the closed closet door is really a snake slithering up a wall). Could it be birth pangs or the earth groaning, sure....could it be something else? absolutely.

I am a radio enthusiast - I like shortwave, Ham bands and such... and, as an electrical engineer and armature scientist, I like to experiment (don't ever tell me "Don't to try this at home"!).

You should listen to what is called in Amature Radio Parlance as "LowFers" - VLF/ELF/ULF or Very, Extremely, and Ultra Low Frequency radio.

You can actually hear the sky and ground "groaning", wailing, and shrieking. This is commonly called "'sferics" or Atmospherics, although you can hear this stuff by placing two rods in the ground with about a 50 foot separation and connecting one to the antenna and the other to ground.


The Aurora Borealis makes some pretty weird sounds as well. Lighting on the other side of the planet causes "whistlers". And sometimes there is just really weird low growling noises that sound like talking. No idea what those are - not sure I want to know.

I agree with the thought this is groaning, wailing, birth pangs type noise.

I had kinda forgotten about it until tonight when I read interest in the noises is growing. Something is up, and it ain't a dose of gas or chili aftermath. lol

Wow! I never heard about these noises before or that natural things in the sky other than lightning could make noises.
Living in a rural area I have seen unusual activity in animals but not anything I would call supernatural although I will never cease to be amazed at the insight of animals. God is truly amazing to give our animals true gifts to feel storms and other dangers approaching. My dog is alert to noises that I cannot hear and often when we are walking he will sniff the air and sometimes insist that our walk is over by turning back early and heading home. We do have a large coyote population and I think he can sniff them out. I do feel that God does send us messages to wake up and repent before it is too late and perhaps this is one of many messages to prepare for His coming. What a truly wonderous God we serve!

I have seen a few videos on youtube from around the world concerning these noises. They have been happening for a few months now. Just another sign of the times we are in.

I do feel that God does send us messages to wake up and repent before it is too late and perhaps this is one of many messages to prepare for His coming. What a truly wonderous God we serve!

This is what I also believe. God wants everyone to wake up and repent!! YAY!!!!!!!!! I think we are getting close. This is so exciting. The noises are so massive and ominous. They really sound like a warning.

My daughter played a few of the YouTube films of these noises and they are certainly strange. It would seem if this was a natural, normal occurance that we would have noticed them before now.
I didn't get to listen to all of them as there were quite a few but one of them sounded like a rams horn or a shofar, my spelling maybe off.
This is really exciting.

It could be my knees and the noises they make when I stand up from crouching down... But probably not. I dunno about snoring not causing them, I make some really weird noises when I'm really badly congested. I haven't heard anything myself, and I haven't really seen/heard this on Youtube. Anyone know what they're entitled? I wouldn't mind hearing them for myself. Other than that my wife's car alarm went off last night and I thought someone might be trying to steal it; as my lawnmower was taken, but apparently one of us may have accidently hit the button on out key chains by accident.

There are many things that we think we know and many things that we really do not know.
It could be a monumental hoax or it could have some scientific explanation......or it could be an act of ulterior mercy from our Lord to make us think that besides the triviality of this messy modern life there is a greater reality,in fact the only reality.....HIMSELF reaching down to this miser and lost humanity.
Already satan is making a LOT of NOISE.....to distract man from his eternal destiny,eternal life with JESUS or eternal life without JESUS...I should say eternal death without JESUS because the second death it is such,eternal separation from THE LORD.....which tragically it will be a devastating painful hell and damnation.....,
Are we making noise FOR JESUS? are we sending out the glorious sound of His Gospel of GRACE?

I did about 10 minutes worth of research and found that these are apparently hoaxes.

The very first was the video from Kiev (Link in above post by melanie). One person claims that the strange noise in the Kiev video was actually a portion of soundtrack from the 2011 movie "Red State". He used an audio editor that visually shows the frequency and duration of sounds to compare the sounds from the video and the movie and showed how they matched up perfectly.

Of course this person could be making it up but I rather think it's most likely the truth.
