    Default Reawakening supervolcano in Bolivia

Scientists figured out from the inflation rate that the pocket of magma beneath the volcano was growing by about 27 cubic feet (1 cubic meter) per second.

Didn't Mount Saint Helen do the same thing before it exploded?

    Uturuncu Supervolcano

There is no real comparison between a supervolcano and a volcano like Mount St. Helens

A supervolcano is capable of producing a volcanic eruption ejecta volume that is greater than 240 cubic miles.

The 1980 Mount St. Helens ejecta volume was approximately 0.7 cubic miles.

The closest comparative in the United States to the Uturunco Supervocano would be the Yellowstone Supervocano, with Yellowstone having the potential of being over 7 times more powerful than Ututuncu.

I know there's no real comparison to a super volcano and a regular one, but didn't Helen started to inflate a few months prior to its eruption?

A Bolivian supervolcano...how disappointing. It's a real volcano. I thought this was a new burrito menu item at Taco Bell.

I was reading this the other day. So many natural disasters locked and loaded. The horizon looks bleak for Earth.

I sponsor a little nine year old Bolivian girl named Rosset through World Vision. She is the cutest little thing and hope to one day to get to meet her and her family.

I hope she will be safe……

I always thought if I owned a burrito stand, I'd have one called "The Moby Dick--There she blows!®"
