Those things are pretty dangerous. They have very long tentacles, usually in the 30 foot range according to Wikipedia, and the sting is really nasty. Might want to reconsider beach plans for the near future if you had any... Officials have gotten reports on the animals from Folly Beach, the Isle of Palms and Dewees Island in the past week.
