Something I've noticed lately in artificial "beauty" enhancements.

Lately I've noticed how extremely deformed looking "the beautiful people" are becoming. Of course you see it all over the tabloids, but lately when looking through old friends facebook photos, I cannot believe how ugly and deformed the "beautiful" people have become. I'm talking about the new money, glamour fashionistas, both men and women. These used to be the so-called beautiful people and now they are flat scarey. Has anyone noticed this. I can remember ten years ago, or so, when I lived in Dallas, on the outer edges of the "in" crowd. Now I see these people and they are so pathetic. I cannot believe how unnatural looking the proceedures have become and how extreme.

And for all their external manipulation of their bodies, it's what is INSIDE that needs fixing!!

So true. Sad because they think they are rich and really living the high life. I feel so blessed to not be caught up in that vicious circle.

I'm thinkin' you are SOOOOO RIGHT!! Here is a photo of an example of the horrendous distortion. Sad, sad, sad. God made these people so beautiful...why mess that up? Yes, they need prayers because what needs fixing sure isn't on the outside. It's a "God" hole on the INSIDE!

God doesn't make mistakes when He knits us together in the womb. We make mistakes when we think we can re-do His work and be better at it----playing god. God made us the way we are for a reason! Embrace the differences and the beautiful variety He has made!

I just watched the latest episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and could not get past all of the obvious plastic surgeries these ladies have had. What kills me is that they all honestly think that they're beautiful when they do this. I have never understood why folks are so willing to inject unknown, or poison into themselves in the pursuit of vanity.

But when you think of it this way, we all inject poison to some degree into ourselves every time we read a magazine we shouldn't, watch a graphic movie, or listen to violent filled lyrics. It's all a matter of perspective....

They can inject all the collagen they want into their sagging lips and butts and still have a heart that looks to God like the beast from the abyss.


On that note: it makes me think that perhaps one part of hell will be where you go and have nonstop plastic surgery done, and no matter how they reshape you, you're never happy.
