VERY, VERY SAD NEWS!!!

I just received word that our dear sister in Christ and Rapture Forums Moderator, Shelle Dummer (known by the username bghtnpd4) passed away suddenly late yesterday afternoon.



She had just had knee surgery and was recovering at home. She began experiencing difficulty in breathing so she called 911. Her 10 year old daughter, Hannah, was with her. Shelle was on the phone with her husband Mark who was at work, while waiting for the paramedics to arrive. They got there and, shortly after, she stopped breathing. The paramedics worked on her and finally got a faint pulse back and rushed her to the hospital ... but the doctors were unable to bring her back and she died there. She was 44 years old. Her husband and daughter are devastated.

I am a husband who lost his wife suddenly and unexpectedly like Mark has lost Shelle. I know what he is feeling. But how can anyone—outside of a child who has gone through it—know what a little girl feels when her mother is taken from her by death? Oh Lord, be with them this moment and throughout the coming days.

On the one hand there is joy over the fact she is now with the Lord whom she loved so much! But on the other there is such sadness for her husband and her daughter.



Please pray for them ... for strength, for comfort, and that their faith fail not.
