Wow!!!
Is this the first time this has happened on this site? I hope Moses is still reading...I personally am not "self righteous"...I'm a "hard-core" sinner. NOW, if his "book" states that Christ did NOT come to save me from all the sin that I've done, and continue to do (AND I say this...THAT I TRY AS HARD AS I CAN DAILY NOT TO), then I beg to differ with him. That's my ULTIMATE concern...Christ came as a perfect human to save all humanity that wants to believe and follow Him. He and we can argue EVERYTHING else out there, but I feel IMHO that Jesus himself would tell us all that Satan is at work if we actually start to "pierce" each other on other issuses. I wish I could talk to Moses...the whole rapture thing is getting under his skin...it's a wonderful concept that we preach on here, BUT as a true believer of God and Christ, personally, just to humor his thoughts, if their was NO rapture, would I still be a lamb of God? I believe so...THAT'S being a Christian. Not whether you believe in a rapture or not or believe Noah's arc is in Turkey or not, but that you believe in the blood of Jesus Christ. AND that I want to make Him proud of me everyday by loving Him and doing what He asks me to do...by bringing His message to others, IN LOVE. I'm sorry I missed all the "hub-bub", because I would have loved to have had a wise discussion with Moses about how much the "non issues" are exactly that. AND I don't hate him or dislike him for his opinion...and that's not a self-righteous saying that...that a true blue sinner stating this post. Some day when I see Christ face to face, I KNOW He'll have a lot to yell at me about, but I pray my being a "sinful human" will be washed by His blood...and that He will go easier on me. That's all I can ask...He's God...I'm not...let's all pray for Moses and each other at the same time that we all just keep doing what God asks us to do!
I finally ask Moses to think about this: Does he feel the same way I do about this topic, or does he beg to differ? To deny the Bible...especially the Good News of Jesus Christ is something TOTALLY different than what Jesus taught. As we all read what Jesus said in His own words, one has to believe or disbelieve that message. I totally believe so I will love all that believe the same, and will also show love to others by telling them this message. Moses...God is the ultimate judge, and you are right...He will judge us all one day. Believe His Word...or deny it, but you have to choose...AND that's the choice the Great God Almighty gave each and every one of us.
Luck is the intersection between opportunity and preparation. :smores:
