We were auctioning RF memorabilia....treasures such as Chris' first football jersey (with original mudstains!), a feather yanked off one of Buzz's pet vultures, a cheeseburger bitten into by Robert (we had a hard time getting it, had to use chloroform), a piece of Mikhen's first pulpit (pried from his whiteknuckled hands after his first sermon), a well annotated copy of Institutes of the Christian Religion (flyleaf signed Adrian....hmmmm), T.D. Jakes' hairbrush (one of a set of three), Todd Bentley's brain (yes, all of it, already visible at a mere 100x magnification!), Obama's personal Bible (Pink Cover TNIV/The Message Interlinear, still in original shrinkwrapping), and the piece de resistance, Ahmajinedad's first leash (a bit chewed but the chainlinks is still mostly intact).

Miss Ginger, you can google the date with 'news from' before that, and get all kinds of hits. There was the budget thing, Boehner, Iran, etc. Lots of stuff, but I don't know how much anyone thing thing brought people to this site beyond love of God, and curiosity for the undecided.
