Suggestion

Just signed up today and don't know how long/involved I will be on here, but I thougt of something while browsing. I'll be retiring in a couple of years from the military and will be looking for a second career. With all the problems people are having finding jobs, I thought it would be nice to have a job search/job announcement thread in here. For Christians looking for work with other Christians or looking for work in Christian related fields. I would certainly like to find a job I love doing that has everything to do with helping others, spreading the word or fighting the good fight in some form or another. With my military retirement and the money I've been able to save, I just want to be happy in my work. I'm not looking to get rich or move up any coporate ladder. Anyway, just a thought. Thanks for listening.

Interesting suggestions, Jonathan. We'll talk about it. But there are already some good Christian employment sites that meet your crieteria ... for ministers AND for lay people. I would suggest both 600+ Christian Jobs and Christian Employment at ChristiaNet.com which lists everything from Christian ministry jobs to jobs with Christian companies and Search Jobs - MinistryEmployment.com which lists everything Christian on the employment side.
