Wow so many guests??? What's going on I wonder.

I am assuming the figures are accumalitve and show haw many are Online Currently so far today. Well I am assuming that because I can't imagine 35 members being on all at the same time in a 24 hour period. In a 24 hour period maybe but not all at once. Correct me Chris/Buzz if I'm wrong in my thinking.

However it is still a lot of guests no matter how you look at the statistics of those visiting us. Who can they be?

No, that is not cumulative, sis. That is the number at the very time you are looking at it. We have had upward of 60 or 70 members all on at the very same time. Maybe more. Some come on in invisible mode, but the counter still counts them ... and we mods and admins can also still see them although nobody else can. The "guests" can include non-members who are reading the forums, the curious, would-be members, and search engine spiders (also known as web indexing robots and website indexing spiders) that comb our files to index them for use by the various search sites. Every time a major shakeup occurs in the world (such as what is happening in the middle east) we get lots of guests who come here looking for our views as to what is happening. Many have heard doomsday prophecies and are anxious to see if we think there is any truth to them.

That was why I was stunned. I hadn't noticed such high guest figures before. I don't look at it regularly but I don't remember over 450 guests before. That seems a very large number to me.

I ,for one,am always logged in ...so whenever I can or want enter in without having to log in again.....

Thank you for the information, Matt. I was also wondering why the huge surge in numbers. It warms my heart that there are so many people searching and coming here. They will definitely get the gospel and much, much more.
