Email to continue receiving info from Rapture forums?

Last night I received an email that told me to "click on this link" if I want to keep receiving emails from this forum. Of course I do, but I want to be sure this is really from the forum. Last week I had a virus in my computer and even though I think it's gone I'm afraid to click on the link and get another virus. Has anyone else received this email? Thanks!

I have not received it, but I think that is because I clicked the box off for receiving updates from here in my CP.

I didn't get this notification, although my settings allow me to receive e-mails from our forum.

Yes, the email is legitimate. I had a problem with the Rapture Forums newsletter where 1,500 people signup in 6 days. Most of the addresses where from a Sri Lankan (.lk) addresses such as 12345@xxxxx.lk

This caused the master list to swell too much considering we pay for the newsletter service based on the number of people who sign up on the list. So please click the confirmation email link and you will continue to get the Rapture Forums newsletter. If you prefer, you can always signup at the original source URL here:

I know the email was sent out and looks like a generic spam email but it is not. I might try to contact the newsletter company and see if they will allow me to send another explaining the situation. I've had a lot of emails about it.
