    Default CMS??

    I'm trying real hard to figure things out, but I just can't handle change like the rest of you. Please, WHAT does "CMS" mean? As in "CMS articles"? Why do things have to be written with initials? What's wrong with whole words? I can barely read what I've typed due to the font size. Yes, I changed it to a larger size, which might show up in a post, but what about now? As I'm typing? I'm already in tri-focals -- what more can I do?

    CMS = Content Management System

    I have finally found out the way to increase the font size in the software and the font size in the textbox editor. However, there still seem to be some bugs in the system so we will just need to be patient for right now while things get ironed out. I have "blown up" the Home page of the forums and nothing is displaying anymore. :duh: And I thought I had fixed the font size here in the text editor but I'm seeing small text again.

    There's no manual for vb4 so that doesn't help at all. I really feel like vbulletin dropped the ball on this forum software. The only option is for us to hang in there and wait til the bugs are out of it or revert back to the old software and lose all our posts from Wednesday til now.

    You guys have a preference?

    I know we're all adjusting. We need to pray for you to have wisdom and insight to get this sorted out. I know it's hard for some, but we need to be patient and ride this through. I think once the bugs are ironed out, we'll be happier. BTW, the font is a real good size right now as I'm typing this. :)

    Well, maybe the font size is showing up for some of you. I know the font size is much bigger on the vbulletin.com forums but this is a rely I got from the customer service manager just a short while ago:

    Sorry but we cannot find this setting. Please note that as support staff our primary function is to help customers with specific problems and questions they have about using the software. While we often will help with questions regarding customizing forums, that is not our core function. We help with these questions when we can and when we have the time and experience.

    For specific help with customizing vB you should try vBulletin.org: vBulletin.org Forum - The Official vBulletin Resource!

    Best regards,

    So, I will try to PM one of the developers and see if they can help.

    Lord I can't help Miss Bobbie. I can't change the forum programming. I can't do anything but pray. Lord help Chris get to the bottom of the difficulties with the new Vbulletin. Some of us don't have much else that gives us fun and satisfaction. Lord give it back to us.

    I finally got the text size in the reply box to a larger font size. Please let me know if it needs to be bigger.

    well, I had to redoo my whole computer today. So,, when I downloaded mozilla firefox, I found out that if you want to read BIGGER font, just pust your ctrl button and your + on your keyboard at the same time and it will enlarge your whole page ...

    I think I read someone already said this?? Sorry if I'm repeating over someone else.. just strike it if so

    On my Apple, if I find the font too small I do the command and shift together and the +. Sometimes the font on an article is too small so I automatically increase to my comfort level. To decrease use - instead of +.
