The Hal Lindsey Report - Back on TBN (MERGED)

Lindsay is great..but can not understand why TheWayOfTheMaster would be associated with TBN. I think they are doing a good job without getting mixed up with such apostate people.I think it gives a mixed up message. Did not God say come out from among them and be ye seperate. What do you think?

That has always troubled me, too. Several years ago, I wrote the "King Is Coming" and stated that exact thing to them. They wrote back and basically said that they agreed with me, but they had to air their program any place that they could. Otherwise, they wouldn't be able to have it on TV. Ed Hindson, who teaches on the show, is 100% biblical. I continue to watch him on TBN, and I will continue to watch Hal Lindsey and Grant Jeffrey. I would be cheating myself if I didn't.

Arg. I tried watching it at 5:30 last night and there was some stupid music show--I want Hal! Does anyone know of any other time it's on--I want to see it and so does my husband. You know, it may come down to a lot of people just having to swallow real hard to be on TBN to reach the lost. There is nothing wrong with just putting up with a couple of loons to get the message out. Call me weak, but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do.

Anyone else know when this will be on again?

It comes on TBN on Friday nights at 5:30pm, PST. It had someone else's name listed for that time slot, but it was Hal Lindsey that actually came on.

We've been talking on RN and this board about all the subjects that Hal Lindsey covered, but discussing the topics one at a time didn't have the same impact as hearing Hal Lindsey list them all. If I hadn't been on these boards for the past year, I would have been completely stunned at how much prophecy is in the process of being fulfilled. We're definitely living in the end times.

I've read elsewhere that Hal's show on TBN will only be on in the US broadcasts. Don't know if that's true or not...

Remember he left TBN when they wanted him to tone down **(or eliminate?) the anti Islamic talk on his shows.

I think that for all practical purposes Paul Crouch has pretty much turned over the operation of TBN to his sons. Once, back in the nineties, I was ordering some resource materials from HL's ministry and I briefly discussed TBN and HL with HL's secretary. She noted that Jan Crouch didn't like HL. So, the relationship between TBN and HL has been very tenuous for several years.

That's a shame. He does a good job of keeping people alert on what is happening in the world today. Perhaps she is jealous of his popularity? I'm kind of interested in why HL going back on TBN didn't get more publicity than it did? It's kind of strange that his website is down right as he goes back on TBN. Perhaps he agreed to make it low-key "back-door" type of re-entrance for the first couple of weeks, til the change had some time to boil down?

Well, that's worried me a bit too. I have a high regard for the Way of the Master folks. But then I finally realized, that eventhough I have little respect for TBN, the Way of the Master could very well be that ray of light in a pit of darkness. It's really a Scriptural and Bibical counter to all those Benny Hinn's and Pink Haired lunatics they love to air. And despite the herecies that TBN embraces for the sake of money, the Way of the Master throws in that life line of Christ to help those confused viewers as a means of escape.

That is exactly right!!! I had opportunity to work with them when they came to NYC and you can be sure I quizzed them about this. It's a love/hate thing. They love the lost but have to suffer where they are for a higher calling.
