Watching now but I'm not a big fan of Cahn to be honest. The United States is not Israel and trying to find the United States in the bible is absurd.

His speech seemed largely devoted to selling the book, unfortunately.

The Inaugural Prayer Breakfast is not an official event. It is organized by an evangelical group and has taken place for 6 years. So Cahn was preaching to the choir. Better he would have given his speech on the street. I also agree that the fate of America is not some hidden, secret - but, of course, that sells. The message of repentance is a good one, but he could have preached a message of repentance to all the false teachers on who's shows he promoted his book, along with his publisher Charisma.

I don't believe 1Chron 7:14 can be applied to the US. Read the verse in context. God was speaking to Israel. God has a covenant relationship with Israel, and the land is part of that covenant. A physical nation is not part of God's covenant with Christians living in the US or anywhere else. Scripture promises that all the nations (including the US) will come against Jerusalem and God will fight against them. Do you think Christians weren't praying when Nazis swarmed through Europe, when Stalin began his purges, when Mao conquered China? I know this sells too and is comforting. I believe our prayer should be that we don't allow the evil around us to overcome us.
