Default Atheist Sues Restaurant over Church-Going Discount -Will it ever end? Nope!

» Atheist Sues Restaurant over Church-Going Discount » The Loft -- GOPUSA

This is about the most ridiculous thing I have heard in awhile: Yes the atheists and the LGBT's are searching online and everywhere they can to find how they can get their name in the paper in a law suit.

I like this line and logic:

So what's the solution? According to Starnes, "a representative from the state suggested that Prudhomme should compromise and sign an agreement that she would offer discounts to any civic organization in the town." This, of course, did not sit well with Prudhomme.
She wondered if their other discounts might be considered discriminatory -- like the one on Tuesday night - where kids under 12 get to eat free. Or what about the senior discount?
"Could someone under 65 complain?" she asked.
What really gets me is that according to Wolff, he discovered the discount on the restaurant's web site and stated, "It's not a big deal in itself and I have no animosity towards Prudhomme's, but I do bear a grudge against a religious right that seems to intrude on our civil rights."
So... it's "not a big deal" to Wolff, yet he's making it a very big deal, and there are organizations ready to step in and help him. Who is on the restaurant's side? The craziness has got to stop!

God Bless ALL who Love Jesus!!!
    In Christ,

Daniel 12:3 (New King James Version)

Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.

Atheists are not a protected class--sorry, Spanky--no cigar. Any judge worth a dime will throw this out.

But its OK for you to intrude on the rights of others as long it meets your 'standards'? So the owner has no rights?

Christians everywhere had better realize which way the wind is blowing. It's going to get much worse before it gets better.

Honestly I think the woman should heap burning coals on their heads and offer a discount exclusively to all atheists.

Down here in the Bible belt we have plenty of places that offer discounts for church-goers on Sunday. All you have to do is bring in your church bulletin for the day to get the discount.

Why doesn't this atheist just go into a church somewhere on Sunday morning and get a bulletin? Is he afraid he might get saved if he darkens the door of a church? The liberalism that has struck our society is just insane. I hope this gets thrown out. What a waste of time.

If it were my restaurant, I'd probably have a sign that read: "Welcome to WKU's--after eating here, you better hope you're saved."

I would make mine be a Non Atheist place to eat. I mean they do that to smokers right? So they should be able to so it to any "group" of people they want.

Yea, I had the same thought. He doesn't want anyone "intruding" on his presumed "rights", but hypocrite that he is, he'll try to shut down an innocent restaurant promotion. for him!

Sharon Prudhomme, one of the co-owners of the restaurant, said she is not discriminating because diners don't have to actually attend a church or synagogue service to get a bulletin. She said area religious leaders told her that anyone can walk in a religious building and obtain a bulletin, without attending services.

Prudhomme added that she has no intention of changing the discount program, which she created to bring more traffic into her restaurant on a traditionally slow day.

Why not just have a 10% off for all diners that walk in her door on Sunday if all she wants is customers?

As for the athiest stirring up trouble, we should expect to be persecuted just for being Christians. It comes with following Jesus. We are getting closer to the Tribulation it is only going to get worse.
