World Community this week will be gathered at a conference in Israel's capital city to focus on the legal status of Jerusalem.

The International Alliance for Justice in Jerusalem is hosting the two-day event at the city's historic King David Hotel. Slated to end Wednesday, the conference featured a keynote address by Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat at its opening session.
Included were sessions on the political, judicial and diplomatic issues facing the city, dealing primarily with the status of Jerusalem under international law.
This conference analyzes and examines these rights from many different perspectives and discusses concrete options for the future status and peace of Jerusalem,” he said.
