IMPORTANT: The following article is meant to be "tongue-in-cheek". The world sees us as Conspiracy Theorists, especially with respect to our views on Satan and the dark forces. However, we KNOW, thanks to the Bible, that it is FACT. The article's purpose is to point out, from the world's perspective, we "appear" to be Conspiracy Theorists, when in fact, we are actually the opposite. NOTE: If the replies to this post doesn't seem to make sense given this statement, I would like to note that this entire first paragraph had actually not been added until AFTER the first 15 posts were made to this thread. I take full responsibility for the resulting confusion caused by not having this important prelude.

I would like to formally charge all Watchers with the accusation of being absolutely 100% guilty of being conspiracy theorists ALL of the time.

However, before you click away from this article in anger, please fully understand that this accusation is actually meant to be a GREAT compliment to all of you!! Indeed, I submit that you should not be ashamed AT ALL of the title, Conspiracy Theorist. Indeed, be VERY PROUD of it. Please allow me to explain:

The following is the definition of a Conspiracy Theorist:

“A theory that explains an event or set of circumstances as the result of a secret plot by usually powerful conspirators”

In turn, conspirators are defined as:

“Persons or entities that enter into a plot with one or more other people or entities to commit illegal and/or immoral acts”

Now then, let us return to the Ultimate Source of information, the Bible, and step back for a second before looking at these definitions more closely. Jesus Himself confirmed the following FACTS in the New Testament:

- For the time being, Satan is the god of the ENTIRE world

- Satan has an army of demons, and this world-wide MASSIVE army follows his every command

- Satan will do EVERYTHING in his power to try and destroy anything God loves, including His people and His Word (if he was allowed to by God)

- Jesus said that a house divided cannot stand. Therefore Satan’s house MUST also be undivided as we know from the Bible that it stands.

Therefore, by definition, Satan and is army MUST be both world-wide AND unified, a powerful combination, resulting in EXTREMELY “powerful conspirators”!!

Returning to the definitions as outlined above, we can definitely therefore conclude that Satan is the ultimate source of “conspiracy” against God. Not only that, but Satan has an ARMY of conspirators, all working together, AS A WORLD-WIDE UNIT, against God and His people. Since these demons always operate in secret, they are truly the ones behind the “secret plot by usually powerful conspirators”!!

Now then, you either believe what I have written above OR you reject that the Bible is the source of the infallible information outlined above. Thankfully, the vast majority of people who visit this site believe with all of their heart and soul that the Bible is completely infallible (as do I). As such, based on the definition of Conspiracy Theorists as outlined above, we therefore MUST believe that this “conspiracy” against us from the dark side truly MUST exist. As such, and also by definition, ALL TRUE WATCHERS MUST BE Conspiracy Theorists, including ME!!

Are you insulted by what I just wrote? I CERTAINLY HOPE NOT!! INSTEAD, BE PROUD OF THIS!! To show you why, let us examine the alternative…

Atheists and non-believers reject the Bible. In turn, they do not believe Satan or the demons exist, and if they do, they may even be deluded to believe that this evil entity is their “friend”. These poor people simply have absolutely no clue just how powerful Satan’s army is IF you do not have the Lord’s AMAZING protection from them. Thankfully, we have been blessed with His Protection as promised to believers in Jesus!! In turn, these lost people simply CANNOT believe that there is a secret MASSIVE coordinated plot by these demons of hate to send their souls straight to hell once they meet their earthly death.

As such, these lost souls do not believe there is a “secret plot by usually powerful conspirators” against them. Yes, it is their inability to be “Conspiracy Theorists” LIKE US that does not allow them to see the grave danger of eternal suffering that they will soon enter into if they don’t wake up in time.

We, on the other hand, are VERY aware of the plot of Satan on our souls, thanks to the blessed Bible and the Truth in His Word that He has so generously gifted to His children. Therefore, not only are we ALL Conspiracy Theorists, but we MUST become proud to be so!!

Therefore, the next time someone “accuses” you of being a Conspiracy Theorist because of your distrust in the corrupt government’s, corporations’ and media’s diabolical plans for you and your children, look them straight in the eye and proudly say, “Thank you, I indeed am as you say!!”. After they get over their initial shock at your confirmation, it will surely lead to some very interesting conversations. A conversation that could even include pointing out that there is a conspiracy on their very souls that is being carried out as you speak and that eternal torture is their current destiny.

SIDE NOTE: Just to confirm, obviously it is God that currently puts MASSIVE restraints on Satan due to the continued presence of His people on earth. God provides this out of His great mercy to those who believe. However, once the Church is removed, the Bible indicates that the game will entirely change and that these restraints will be removed. This is why the Great Tribulation will be the VERY WORST of times ever.

Keep looking up, my brothers and sisters in Christ. Our redemption SURELY draws near!! What exciting times to be living in!!

Brother, I would disagree with only one thing: that in regard to what Satan is planning we are speaking of a Conspiracy THEORY. Respectfully, what is written in the Bible is not theory, as you well know. So there is no guessing at some conspiracy "theory" based on a fear here and a suspicion there. We who watch and see the signs are not, thus, conspiracy "theorists" but watchmen warning the people. And the basis for our warning is God's Word, not the suspicions of those operate conspiracy sites and who promote various theories based on the conspiracies they believe they see.

But I fully agree that there is ONE conspiracy that is real: The one of Satan's which you point to. But, again, that is no theory and is not based on suspicion of shadowy activity nor on fears for a loss of liberty. It is based solely on what God has revealed in His Word.

The purpose of the article was to use an allegorical approach to compare Satan's secret ways with the fact that a fallen world simply can't see their diabolical plans. I did not foresee how this could have been twisted into something negative, but, once again, the regulars on this site were successful in their task.

But absent that, it appeared to say exactly what most thought it to say— the opposite of what you meant.

Sarcasm and irony are very difficult things to write. They always risk having the opposite effect of that intended.

The earlier comments make sense now. I can see why, w/out the explanation of the article, how this article could be taken, well, just like it sounds. I have to agree though that this is exactly how the world views us, exactly. Reason number one for most of my frustration is the fact that people do not take the gospel seriously.

You'd think that living a heart beat away from hell would make people think twice, but alas, it is easier to believe the atheist and go back to what you were doing. And just call that Christian that wants to change you a "fool".

I would turn your question in another direction, because its not so much a matter of what satan is or isn't doing as it is a matter of who is cooperating with him. So who or what are we really going to believe and why? Who or what are we going to follow along with and why? Who or what are we backing and why? It often seems uncertainty is more attractive than truth, as threads based on guesswork seem to be more active than threads based on God's Word, which everyone wants to say is true, but which in practice seems much less attractive than easily manipulated speculations on some future everyone agrees we won't be here to deal with.

I am frankly sick and tired of satan's latest antics, and I am sick and tired of hearing about them. I have found that given time and persistence, depravity becomes something closely resembling "normal", thus the unspeakable and the unthinkable are rapidly becoming the new American lifestyle. All things Christlike seem devalued, even by professing Christians while depravity, negativity and bitter hatred are filling in the gaps left where God is not welcome, and truth is uncomfortable.

I find it obscene at best, a cry of defeat at worst. The devil wouldn't be getting anywhere at all except for the fact that too many people seem to think he's got good ideas in some way or other. Thus Rush Limbaugh, Glenn Beck and Ted Nugent seem to have some form of credibility with Christians, who make claims about discernment, yet in practice show no such talent... Until and unless we can submit ourselves en masse to truth, anything goes, and everything in this culture has gone all right, straight off a very steep cliff!!
