Most of my Jewish and Christian friends don’t realize that Islam also has a messiah. They aren’t really familiar with the Twelfth Imam, don’t even know if it’s a plant, animal or concrete. Those who don’t believe at all could care less and think it really has no effect on them.

The Twelfth Imam concept is probably the most critical happening in today’s world. Where’s the news? This messianic figure can only come when the world is at war, and Iran is trying her best to make that happen.

Don’t forget, a suicidal cult is not worried about retribution. They will simply be “martyrs” and will be hurrying on their way to The Land of Seventy-Two Virgins. I’m not sure what the female “martyrs” get but doubt it’ll be Chippendale dancers.

While I agree that Iran will indeed choose a 12th imam, and probably fairly soon too, somehow I don't think he'll be the false prophet. I guess thats because outside islam, the muslims just don't have that level of credibility. If I were to venture a guess, I'd guess a pope, very likely a non-Raptured pope...

I do think the Ac will be all,what i mean is he will be the imam to islam, Tenth Avatar – Kalki to the hindus ,Maitreya to the Buddha's,and the Jews will see him as their Messiah...The Pope will be the false prophet at the time of The Antichrist...Main thing is they need their version of armageddon ,WWIII To wash the world in blood from him to come..

You know, sis, I would agree with you from a Western point of view. From our vantage point, Christianity is indeed more significant than Islam. However, outside of Europe and the Americas, Oceania, South Korea, and Japan, Islam is bigger. And it's presence and power in Europe is ballooning.

Ya, but I think that their power and presence is going to take a real nose dive 'any day now' with Ps 83, Is 17, Ez 38 events.

The real news about the 12th dude is that THEY believe that they have to be attacking Jerusalem and create world chaos - cats and dogs sleeping together - in order to usher him in.

If only there were some way we could find that 12th dude without having to go thru all that chaos.

The Mahdi is predicted in the Hadith to be predestined to kill many people in warfare and convert the survivors. Ahmadinejad believes these are the End Times. He believes he must lead Iran in destroying the Islamic Antichrist, Ad Dajjal, which is Israel and the West. Ahmadinejad has said that he wants to, "pave the way" for the return of the Mahdi by developing nuclear weapons for the Mahdi's army.
The World War III build-up that is going on with the U.S., Europe, Russia, China, Iran, Islamic nations and other regions of the world.I don't believe will be the Ezekiel 38.Thier endtime Islamic Prophecies match almost to the hilt as God's Word,they believe they have to kill millions,bring the world under Islamic Laws with the mahdi in charge.I think after this War,Islam will be weakend so much thats when we see the peace treaty with Israel and the Palestinians,And that China probably will be about destroyed ,so Europe will rise as the only super power as the bible tells us.Have to wait and see how this plays out,but it is coming..As Joel Rosenberg writes in his book The Twelfth Imam ,we may not believe in a mahdi,but they do!!!And they want to bring armageddon and their messiah.....

There is no possible way that the 12th Imam will be seen by the Jews as Messiah. The imam is an anti-Jewish "crusader," who will try to take the killing of Jews to heights not witnessed ever before in history. That is saying something, when you consider how many Jews were killed by the Germans and the Soviets in the 20th century.

There is a way and it is found in the Lord's prophetic Word.

The literal fulfillment of the utter destruction of Israel's enemies as detailed in the prophecies you cited (plus a few others) will preempt the appearance of any so-called "al-mahdi." The utter falseness of the islamic belief system will be exposed for all of its adherents to experience first-hand.
