Rapture Alert - A Man Worshipped Like The Antichrist

A Man Worshipped Like The Antichrist

No one in our world today would worship an evil, power hungry man like the Antichrist! Or would they? Let's take a look at some Scripture concerning the future Antichrist and examine some news detailing the power a recently deceased modern day leader had accrued during the course of his life, the extent of which is not unlike that of the Antichrist, albeit on a smaller scale.

Concerning the prophesied Antichrist to come, we read in Revelation 13: 7-8:

And it was given unto him to make war with the saints, and to overcome them: and power was given him over all kindreds, and tongues, and nations.

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

As we see in Scripture, the Antichrist is going to be worshipped globally upon completion of his ascent to power, in no small part by virtue of the seemingly invincible authority he will possess in the days leading up to the visible, physical, bodily return of Jesus Christ. In order to simply buy or sell, for example, all of humanity will have to receive a mark of allegiance to the Antichrist and his regime. Those who refuse to tow the line in concurring with the Antichrist's agenda will be branded as outlaws and, upon capture, be killed.

    Revelation 13: 16-17:

And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

    Revelation 20:4:

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received [his] mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years.

A Modern Day Example (Kim Jong-il)

The Daily NK, an online newspaper based in South Korea and opposed to the North Korean dictatorship presently in power, is reporting the following, in part, as seen in a story currently appearing on the Fox News website:

"Following the mourning period for former leader Kim Jong Il, North Korean authorities have begun to punish citizens who did not display enough sadness at his death..."

    And...

""The authorities are handing down at least six months in a labor-training camp to anybody who didn't participate in the organized gatherings during the mourning period, or who did participate but didn't cry and didn't seem genuine."

Daily NK also said that the source reported that those critical of the country's dynastic system - which saw Kim replaced by his son Kim Jong Eun - were being sent to re-education camps or banished with their families to remote areas."

A dictatorship is a form of government within which a leader, one who has typically gained power by means of force such as we see the Antichrist is going to in Revelation 13:17, has total power over a nation of people. In the case of North Korea's Kim Jong-il, his power over the North Korean people knew few boundaries. They were required to worship him in life as though he was their god and that requirement has literally extended beyond his death! How much greater would Kim's over his people had been if he could, for example, display all the "power and signs and lying wonders" of Satan himself? 2nd Thessalonians 2:9 tells us the Antichrist to come will be able to do just that!

Make no mistake about it, readers. What bible prophecy says is going to happen in the prophetic future can happen and is going to! We need look no further than to "Axis of Evil" member nation North Korea to see a modern day example of it. Keep it in mind and keep looking up! Our redemption draweth nigh!

I don't know how the people in this world continue to allow regimes like this to flourish and punish their people like they do. We've gone through tyrants after tyrants for centuries but they still are allowed to gain control in a country and run their people in the ground without any accountability for it. How many more times? We know from much of history that the people won't fight for a person like that when the chips fall so these people should be done away with much sooner than 30-40 years of killing their own people. It just baffles me how we in the world simply let it go on as if it's not while those people are trapped in an awful world....

I think the supposed muslim prophet muhammed best sums up your point. The guy is dead but still worshipped by over 1.57 billion people today...thats alot of people.

Hitler would probably be another good example.

Media spin is lovely isn't it? I seriously doubt that people "worshiped" Kim Jong Il of their own free accord. A much better example would be our current President of the United States.....
