The Muslim Brotherhood on Saturday reaffirmed a statement by one of it's leaders last week that it intends to negatively alter or cancel Egypt's peace treaty with Israel after the group assumes power in Cairo.

The Muslim Brotherhood's affirmation came in response to a claim by US State Department Spokeswoman Victoria Nuland last Thursday that the Obama Administration had received secret assurances that the Brotherhood would uphold the Camp David Accords following its electoral victory.

Nuland's assertion was itself a response to an interview published in the Arabic newspaper Al-Hayat last week in which Muslim Brotherhood deputy leader Dr. Rashad Bayoumi insisted that his group will never recognize Israel or its right to exist.

"This is not an option, whatever the circumstances, we do not recognize Israel at all," said Bayoumi, adding, "The Brotherhood respects international conventions, but we will take legal action against the peace treaty with the Zionist entity."

In her press briefing, Nuland dismissed Bayoumi's remarks and his commanding position by stating that he is "just one member of the Muslim Brotherhood." Nuland said that Washington had "other assurances from the party" that it would not follow the policies communicated by Bayoumi.

Essam Arian, deputy head of the Muslim Brotherhood's political wing the Freedom and Justice Party, shot back by insisting that neither Nuland nor anyone else in the Obama Administration had received any such guarantees.

"No one in Egypt can promise anything on behalf of the entire nation," Arian told the London-based Arabic daily Al-Sharq Al-Awsat.

Another Brotherhood official, Subhi Saleh, added that while "the Muslim Brotherhood will honor all agreements...no agreements are sacred and any signed agreement can be reconsidered."

That revelation again raised concerns that once in power, the Muslim Brotherhood will hold a national referendum on maintaining the peace treaty with Israel, a move that Bayoumi previously championed.

In light of the results of Egypt's parliamentary election - the Muslim Brotherhood won 40 percent of the vote, while second place went to the even more radical al-Nour Party - and the fact that the Brotherhood's official party position is to reject Israel, such a referendum would certainly be the end of the Camp David Accords.

No one is more pleased by that realization than Gaza-based Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh, who told British newspaper The Independent on Saturday that with the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt, "Israel is in a security situation they have never been in before."

Hamas was born out of the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood, and Haniyeh sees the group as a natural ally in Hamas' quest to eventually eradicate the Jewish state.

Not a suprise, intrigue is a character trait of someone soon to rise to power, already having secured his place among the greatest military and commercial power on the globe, his next step will be much easier! From our own standpoint we look at everything that has occured in our own nation and around the world as mistakes this individual has made putting the security of this nation and the world at risk, yet clearly, this is a calculated plan when we open our eyes to see it! Our President also happens to be the only President in history to chair the U.N. Security Council! Things that make you go hmmm!

Can anyone show me any other nation in history or at present fulfills the categories laid out by the Prophets concerning modern Babylon? Consider also that it was a mystery to the Prophets, for this nation did not exist at the time the received and recorded these prophecies. Though many would seek to identify the founding of this nation as being Christian, its occultic origins is widely known as found in various masonic orders, their Luciferian imagery is all over our currency announcing the birth of new secular order dipicted as a pyramid and at the base Roman numerals in the form of 1776! Our Babylonian goddess welcomes all to our shores. Our motto rivals that of that prescribed to ancient Babel, out of many one...! Had to add this too, we happen to also have the modern version of the Tower of Babel within our nation identified as the United Nation, "let us all come together, lest we be destroyed"!

Some think it is the US, some think it is Rome, and other think it will be a literal Babylon. We'll have to wait and find out. Even worse, in April 2009, Obama appointed Arif Alikhan​, the deputy mayor of Los Angeles, as Assistant Secretary for Policy Development at the Department of Homeland Security. Just two weeks before he received this appointment, Alikhan (who once called the jihad terror group Hizballah a “liberation movement”) participated in a fundraiser for the Muslim Public Affairs Council (MPAC). Like ISNA, MPAC has links to the Muslim Brotherhood. In a book entitled In Fraternity: A Message to Muslims in America, coauthor Hassan Hathout, a former MPAC president, is identified as “a close disciple of the late Hassan al-Banna of Egypt.” The MPAC-linked magazine The Minaret spoke of Hassan Hathout’s closeness to al-Banna in a 1997 article: “My father would tell me that Hassan Hathout was a companion of Hassan al-Banna….Hassan Hathout would speak of al-Banna with such love and adoration; he would speak of a relationship not guided by politics or law but by a basic sense of human decency.”

Why is quite evedent to me. He is Muslim, definately not a Christian by any accounts.

Thats probably quite close to the truth. Mostly, he's a politician with muslim sympathies, but not committed to either islam (he'd NEVER get his wife to join him in that stuff) or Christianity which he obviously doesn't practice either. This makes him dangerously idealistic to say the least.
