China's Hu urges navy to prepare for War

Chinese President Hu Jintao Tuesday urged the navy to prepare for military combat amid growing regional tensions over maritime disputes and a US campaign to assert itself as a Pacific power.

Addressing the powerful Central Military Commission, Hu said: "Our work must closely encircle the main theme of national defence and military building."

China claims all of the maritime area, as does Taiwan, while four Southeast Asian countries declare ownership of parts of it, with Vietnam and the Philippines accusing Chinese forces of increasing aggression there.

War, not just regional skirmishes, seems to be hanging in the air.

You know...as I was reading (and laughing at) this thread a thought occurred to me. We in the US may start (and may have already started to observe) technical issues with our services etc. as part of covert warfare. You gotta know that with so many countries (especially China who ships most of our technical materials to us), not happy with the US and murmerings of war they'll start with our technical, electrical, communication infrastructures, etc.....if possible.

Have certainly been praying for God's mercy and protection......especially for the church.

Already in progress. It's not just hackers from Iran, NK, Russia and the EU that monkey around with your internet exposures. Also, the rare earth monopoly of the Chinese might be causing some sleepless nights in the Pentagon....or maybe not. And, whatever they can't steal they get given as a gift, like when Bawdy Bill Clinton gave them those missile and propeller goodies.

Yes, praying The Lord's will be done, and His children are preserved in the midst of this evil world.
