    Bible Getting Ready For The End Of All Things...

    This is David Wilkerson.

    Psalm 73:28

    28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
    I will tell of all your deeds.

    I'm about half way through this critical sermon, and Rev Wilkerson is talking about forgiveness in the Church and why its so important. I have something very serious to add.

    Before you say or do anything to your brother or sister in Christ, STOP. Stop for a moment and ask yourself something. Don't ask yourself if you're sure you're right, you're already sure you are right. Instead, ask yourself this:

    Will that person need to forgive me if I say or do...
    Psalm 73:28

    28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
    I will tell of all your deeds.

    I agree, sis. Perhaps we should also, more importantly, earnestly ask the Holy Spirit if we are walking/talking in His will on a matter before we act. Are we manifesting the nature of Christ ... gentle and loving ... seeking the other's good before our own rights, knowledge, ideas and wisdom?

    This goes along my way of thinking also, had a few problems in our Church a while ago, cpl of the ppl were saying things and putting others down, and our now gone pastor made a few mistakes and said things which hurt a few of us and we were called to remember the scripture, forgive your brother or sister 70 x 7, my argument was, ok we should forgive, but why doesn't the person think before they say hurtful things, it is like they have a free license to offend, common sense is needed, and there would not be the need to forgive 70x7, Simple really, Think before you say something, is it going to offend etc

    Watched it - Heard it - Liked it - Working on it ............

    Consider the words of Omar M. Ahmad, founder of CAIR: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant." ... "The Koran, the Muslim book of scripture, should be the highest authority in America , and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

    The only mistake I saw in the whole sermon was the way Rev Wilkerson seemed to be saying that people should expect "instant results". I know he knows that any big change in how we think and feel is a process, because i know he's seen the process at work in at least several hundred former drug addicts and gang members with whom Wilkerson has worked personally in his career. For those who didn't know, Wilkerson was the founder of Teen Challenge. He's made a few mistakes in his career, but he's still probably the most dedicated minister of God to have lived in this generation. Wilkerson risked his life many times over, in some of the deadliest dark corners of New York City in search of the Lord's lost sheep. For that reason among others, Wilkerson is the living Pastor I most admire.
