As the Middle East peace talks remain stalemated and with no breakthrough in sight, it is appropriate to try to look into the future and see what could possible be the next moves in the Middle East peace process. Right now the Palestinian Authority headed by Mahmoud Abbas is currently trying to get countries to recognize Palestine before there is even a state with agreed upon borders, military, economy, etc. In reality the Palestinians headed by Abbas are trying to bypass negotiations since they have remained stalled and instead shoot for a recognition of a Palestinian state based on 1967 borders. This would be disastrous for Israel yet the world community is so insistent on recognizing the Palestinians that their anti-semitic ways can't be calmed enough for logic and reasoning to prevail. The truth of the matter is that there is simply no historical Palestinian state. This is simple the "lie" that is being perpetuated by the Islamics and liberal left. There has never been a Palestinian nation at anytime in history - ever! There has also never been a Palestinian culture, language, art, economy, etc. The real heritage of the so called Palestinians comes from the surrounding Islamic states of Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt. The Palestinians are simply a figment of the Islamic and liberal leftist imagination.

As the Middle East peace process stalls and tensions mount, there is an increasing likely change that conflict will erupt at some time. This is especially true in light of the Psalm 83 prophecies where by Israel destroys the surrounding proxy terrorist organizations as well as the PLO. To give you an example of the kind of threat Israel will face in the future that causes them to take off the "kid gloves" when dealing with the Palestinians, the Jerusalem Post reports that Hezbollah can fire upwards to 400-600 rockets a day into Israel in the next war:

Hizbullah would likely shoot between 400 and 600 missiles a day into Israel during a future war, a senior Mossad official told a congressional delegation to Israel in 2009, according to a US diplomatic cable published on Sunday. The cable from November 2009 summed up meetings a delegation led by Ike Skelton (D-Missouri) held with top officials from the Mossad, the Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) and the IDF. It was first published on Sunday by Norway’s Aftenposten newspaper, which received it from WikiLeaks. According to the Mossad official, 100 of the missiles will hit Tel Aviv.
    Further:

Hizbullah, the delegation was told, has 40,000 missiles as well as a number of Iranian-made Ababil unmanned aerial vehicles that have a range of 150 km. and can be loaded with explosives and sent to bomb strategic targets in Israel. Chief of General Staff Lt.-Gen. Gabi Ashkenazi told the delegation that due to the military buildup in Lebanon and the Gaza Strip, he was preparing the IDF for a “major war” since it would then be easier to scale down for smaller conflicts if needed.

As a result of the growing rocket threat, Ashkenazi told the congressmen that the IDF was investing heavily in missile defense systems, such as the Arrow, David’s Sling and Iron Dome. While the Iranian threat was grave, Ashkenazi told the Americans that the threat from Hamas and Hizbullah, which were funded by Iran, was most acute since due to their proximity to Israel, their rockets would be more accurate.
This sort of rocket launching is unprecedented should it actually happen. Israel has never faced this sort of massive bombardment before and as a result it is likely that Israel will use weapons that they have so far held off from using against the Palestinians. Whether this is true of course remains to be seen, however, the prophetic scenarios around Psalm 83 and other prophecies indicate that in the fulfillment of Psalm 83 and other prophecies, the current state of Israel will actually grow considerably and encompass parts of their surrounding enemies.

In addition to the threat from Hezbollah, the Jerusalem Post is also reporting that Iran can strike Israel within 10-12 minutes. The Jerusalem Post news article reports:

IDF Chief of Staff Gabi Ashkenazi said that Iran has over 300 missiles that could reach Israel within 10-12 minutes, according to cables released by WikiLeaks on Sunday. During a November 15, 2009 meeting with a US Congress delegation led by Ike Skelton (D-MO), Ashkenazi added that that Israel was prepared for a major war against Hamas.
These facts will probably play a large role in setting off the domino effect for Ezekiel 38-39 when a Russian led "moslem" coalition comes from the north in an effort to wipe Israel off the map. The fact that the Psalm 83 prophecy deals primarily with Arab countries is very interesting given the fact that Ezekiel 38-39 doesn't mention a single Arab nation in this invading coalition. This could be that there is nothing or not much left of the surrounding Arab population as a result of Israel's "iron fist" striking via Psalm 83. The remaining countries aligned with Russia in Ezekiel 38-39 are the southern Russian republic states which are largely Islamic, Turkey, Iran, Islamic north Africa, etc. While the exact details will only be known when the events occur, it seems plausible that this scenario could play out very easily under the current conditions.

With this in mind it is extremely important that as we enter the year 2011 that we pray for Israel and especially for the peace of Jerusalem. The international community and so called "Palestinians" have made Jerusalem a focal point in their future "Palestinian" state solution that they believe will solve the Middle East peace process. While this is nothing more than the wisdom of man, the Bible tells us that this will not lead to peace but instead lead to more conflict, bloodshed, and sorrow. Now more than ever it is imperative that we who follow the word of God as written in his Holy Bible continue to warn the world of the catastrophic events that the world is heading straight down into. The imminent rapture of the church and collapse of the United States coupled with the fulfillments of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 could easily cause the world to slowly but surely enter into the final week of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy. For these reasons, we need to remain watchmen on the wall and keep sounding the alert that Jesus is coming soon! Stay tuned!

    God bless.

    Chris:
The stage is set, the country's around Israel are on lock and load mode.

[QUOTE]The imminent rapture of the church and collapse of the United States coupled with the fulfillments of Psalm 83 and Ezekiel 38-39 could easily cause the world to slowly but surely enter into the final week of Daniel's 70 weeks prophecy.[QUOTE]

I think the 'rapture' will cause major chaos on this event alone. Just think of all the Christians spending
and buying power lost, taxes lost and loss of productivity/jobs will send the US reeling. Who is
the largest group in the US that contributes to the poverty of the rest of the world?
    Ponder that please!!!
