Re: "Enduring To the End"
I absolutely dare not throw a wrench into this! Hallelujah! I know He is coming soon.
Now, to add some joy to the message, there are several thousand language groups that still are to be reached with the gospel. Groups such as Wycliffe Bible Translators and others are trying to reach into these tribes. It takes years to do this. The Lord knows this. If we look at the media available and its extent, in every form-radio, tv, internet, etc- then we could easily say the gospel is going out to the globe. But still, many places are not wired, and only visual accounts of Jesus being broad cast with Holy Spirit illuminated empowerment could reach these people.
Does that hinder the rapture? I do not think so in any way. Jesus said, "And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come" (24:14). The end is not the beginning of the Tribulation. Neither is it the moment before the rapture.
To complete Jesus' forecast, The 144,000 Jews (Rev. 7:1-8) from the 12 tribes will be sealed and they will evangelize the unbelieving world and I believe will go into all places with Holy Spirit POWER!!!! You want to see the real gift of tongues in action? - It will be used widescale at that time. Notice what immediately follows the sealing of these believing evangelists:
After these things I looked, and behold, a great multitude which no one could number, of all nations, tribes, peoples, and tongues, standing before the throne and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, with palm branches in their hands, and crying out with a loud voice, saying, “Salvation belongs to our God who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb!” (Rev. 7:9-10)
I can hardly contain myself with the excitement of how God will reach this world. But that's not all folks!!!!
Rev 14: 1-7, (I believe vs. 1-5 is a contextual parenthesis that refers to the same 144,000 sealed but they are now pictured before the throne and called the firstfruits. I believe they are the firstfruits of those who are saved during the tribulation. The context of Revelation 14 places the time of the events to be shortly after the mid-point of the tribulation. John is given a vision of their end--standing before the throne in heaven)
1Then I looked, and behold, a Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with Him one hundred and forty-four thousand, having His Father’s name written on their foreheads.
2 And I heard a voice from heaven, like the voice of many waters, and like the voice of loud thunder. And I heard the sound of harpists playing their harps.
3 They sang as it were a new song before the throne, before the four living creatures, and the elders; and no one could learn that song except the hundred and forty-four thousand who were redeemed from the earth.
4 These are the ones who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are the ones who follow the Lamb wherever He goes. These were redeemed from among men, being firstfruits to God and to the Lamb.
5 And in their mouth was found no deceit, for they are without fault before the throne of God.
Meanwhile, back at the ranch- i.e. the tribulation,
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people—
7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
Now if that doesn't make the hair on your head salute the heavens nothing will!!!
The final job of getting the gospel to the world is during the trib and it will be completed by an angel, or maybe even a whole slew of them. The one here may be the leader.
So all things considered, as Jack said we are definitely "between the Gospel of the Kingdom being preached into all the nations and the Rapture of the Church."
BUT THIS GOSPEL BEING PREACHED TO THE WORLD DOES NOT HAVE TO BE FULLFILLED BEFORE THE RAPTURE OCURRS!!!!!!!!! It will indeed happen, but the true church will not be here to see it!
Praise His High and Holy Name!!!!
In Christ,
Daniel 12:3 (New King James Version)
Those who are wise shall shine
Like the brightness of the firmament,
And those who turn many to righteousness
Like the stars forever and ever.
