In a way that is true, but I'm far more concerned with people being saved then any personal worldly "freedom". Besides we know this is part of the times we live in. Good will be called evil, evil will be called good, we will be persecuted etc. I'm not saying we should agree with what's going on, but I see a lot of putting faith in the organisations of man. Do you really think judges and politicians that are increasingly liberal will change anything just because we say so? Do they not serve a different master than us? Do they not serve the same master as our Islamic friends? Is there not only one thing that can change the way things are going, that is a revival? Isn't our only hope for renewed morals a massive return to Godly values? Again I see a lot of people putting faith in worldly organisations and politicians, and what not, while the only hope for us, both in this life and in the next is Yeshua. Politicians love the way things are going, unless they repent they will not change their minds, I'm certain of it. What brings forth our values? Evolution or is it God? If it's God then again, we need people to listen to Him in order to let them share our values, if they do not, then they will likely not share them.

Wow. Excellent points, Kist. I know you're right, but still, the world at large is failing miserably to hold the muslim religious leadership accountable for what they teach, so the terrorists are getting away with murder. The Australian judge committed an act of truly incomprehensible judicial foolishness by taking that case seriously! It should have been thrown out of court immediately! Really now, claiming that your neighbor's singing is an insult to your religion? The yodeler had an equal claim th state that his muslim's neighbor's attitude was an insult to his own cultural birthright!

Where are we left standing when those who reject Christ prefer evil? I guess thats part of the question I have on my mind lately. If islam retains this veneer of credibility as a world religion, in spite of their crimes, particularly murder and willful destruction of property (ie mosque bombing, the norm when they have the majority), then the whole concept of civilization and human rights is under serious threat. That, in my mind, is unacceptable.

We can still yodel here in Australia but if I ever go to visit my friends in Austria I'd be in big trouble if I had a sudden urge to fill the "Hills with the Sound of Yodelling".

Makes One think, well if Yodeling is offensive to Muslims because it sounds like a call to whatever, when will they say Women wearing Western clothing is an Offence under Islam and upsets them and should wear full Black dresses that cover the eyes also, in OZ we sadly had a boating tragedy where some drowned, now some Aussies risked life and Limb trying to save those that could be saved, next day, do we hear of gratitude for saving some, nope we get, PLEASE UN Save us from these horrible conditions and Protests all around at our Lack of empathy, they want our Laws changed to accept them all, want their Own Politcal Party, as they feel they are not getting enough, like elsewhere, they want to judged ubder Sharia Law and to accept Sharia Law, seems to me at this point in time, it's all about what they want, there is no give and take, it's their way or we will do a Jihad on your askyourmotherforsixpence, or cause mayhem, there is an imbalance, and it's mainly up to our so called leaders to put their foot down and say no more, either accept our ways or stay where you are, don't try and enforce your ways and Laws everywhere you go. I know it's all Gods will that matters, but we also as members of Gods kingdom to stand up for ourseleves, we may be Christians, but should we just bend over for them also? we can pray for them to come to repentence (which is a death sentence) and hope they would just blend in and be one of us, sharing and caring for one another, which would be a blessing indeed. We as Christians do forgive and accomadate and help others, why don't they? end of rant

Sorry Meg you got Australia mixed up with Austria in your earlier post. Easily done our countries names are so close in the way they are spelt.

It was an Austrian Judge not an Australian Judge that ruled Yodeling Offensive to Muslims.

Ship me out to pasture! Ever since I first saw this thread, I thought it was Australia!!! *rolls over and dies of embarrassment!!!*

Goodness, if the Austrians can't yodel, something is very badly wrong!!! That is just beyond comprehension!!! How DARE the muslims but into a foreign culture and demand concessions they don't deserve! I do stand on the fact that they should be welcome in the Lord's kingdom as much as anyone else, but i also INSIST that they be held accountable to a minium standard of civilized behavior first and foremost! NO ONE has a religious entitlement to criminal behavior and theological totalitarianism!!
