People used to believe that the AntiChrist would come from a revived Roman Empire because the Second Temple was destroyed by a Roman General, but while they were Roman Legions, and thus Roman citizens, under Titus. as Shorbat (God's War on Terror: Islam, Prophecy and the Bible) explains in Chapter 76 (pages 347-354) that does not mean that they came from Europe. Titus lead the Eastern Legions of the Roman Empire and the Legions were Legions XV Apollinaris (from Syria), Legion V Macedonica (from Serbia and Bulgaria), Legion XII Fukminata (from Eastern Turkey and Syria), and Legion X Fretensis (from Turkey and Syria). So most of the troops were Arabs, Syrian, or Turks. Daniel 9:26 does speak of "the people of the prince" (Then after the sixty-two weeks the Messiah will be cut off and have nothing, and the people of the prince who is to come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. And its end will come with a flood; even to the end there will be war; desolations are determined.) but that does not mean they were European, just the ultimate authority over them (the King, not the prince) was in Rome. So the prince who is to come (the AntiChrist) may not be a European. He could be a Turk, Syrian, Serbian, or Bulgarian. I believe he will be a Turk.
