Default Pope Benedict XVI’s peace message calls for wealth redistribution

VATICAN CITY — Noting a “rising sense of frustration” at the worldwide economic recession, Pope Benedict XVI said that a more just and peaceful world requires “adequate mechanisms for the redistribution of wealth.”

The pope’s words appeared in his message for the World Day of Peace 2012, released on Friday (Dec. 16) at the Vatican.

The catholic church will be such a feeder for the OWR. pope benny has drank the kool aid of the religious left, and it shows every time he speaks on these matters. popes are the religious equivalent of a dictator, so I suppose redistribution would be something he would embrace. He keeps his people impoverished spiritually, so it only figures he would see it as ideal in an economic sense.

And what is socialism but man's attempt to rule without God?

Check the Aquinas thread I posted last month or so, wealth redistribution is part of RCC "theology".

I don't suppose Benny was suggesting the Vatican't redistribute some of their fabulous wealth?

    The harlot is becoming bolder.

Hmmmm, perhaps it's time for a little research into how far along the priests of medicine are with their endeavour to achieve immortality...a "covenant with death" so to speak.

LOL! What a joke! Hey, Pope! You got a check book and your own bank--start writing the checks and redistribute. Can't wait for your Vatican yard sale next weekend.

Sorry the Catholic Church will be unable to help, they have to keep their funds available for paying out untold millions in sexual abuse lawsuits....

Yeah he probably wants the Vatican's money bags to be billed with the redistributed wealth.

I'll betcha top dollar that the RCC won't be "redistributing" their enormous wealth anytime soon. The Vatican has so much money it is crazy.

Benedict can start by emptying out the vatican vaults. No doubt there is enough to go around even after paying off the lawsuits

Apostasy Re: Pope Benedict XVI’s peace message calls for wealth redistribution

Isn't it fascinating that, if a hypothetical, prominent, evangelical Christian minister made a statement that, "The Federal government needs to dramatically reduce taxes so that Americans can greatly increase their giving to their churches, so that the churches can once again take on the roles of providing charity, providing care for the indigent and downtrodden, and providing these things in such a way that the entire community is spiritually affected for the better...," if this statement was made by the hypothetical minister I referenced, the reaction from the leftists who hold hegemony over the majority of the media -- not just in the US, but across much of the world -- would be loud, sudden, and deafening? They would caterwaul that "the church" was trying to interject itself into "traditional governmental roles," that this hypothetical minister was an idiot since he'd obviously never heard about the "separation of church and state" that the left so misunderstands in this nation, they would demand to know just what kind of dogma this hypothetical minister would try to spread as he gave out the charity that he seeks to distribute, and some would aver that he was trying to start some kind of cult by brainwashing the poor...and, on and on and on it would go.

And yet, because the Pope holds such obviously socialistic sentiments -- as do many of the media "bigwig gatekeepers" -- there is no mention of this statement by the Pope in any of the major media? In fact, until I saw the story posted here, I had no idea. Sadly, far too many of the RCC's roughly 1.166 billion members actually believe that the Pope is infallible, that he
is some kind of direct spokesperson for God, and that his words must be obeyed, unquestioningly...

Yes, the One World Religion's construction is moving ahead at a breakneck pace...

The result of these beliefs is that some, if not many, RCC members may actually begin to believe that God is a socialist (since the Pope supposedly speaks for Him)...incredible...

(Of course, a careful READING of the BIBLE can put to rest these mistaken notions...but to many - especially here, in the United States of Entertainment -- that is far too "boring" a idea)...
