Default Pope to promote peace in talks with world religious leaders

VATICAN CITY, Oct 25 – Pope Benedict XVI has invited 300 religious leaders to a meeting in Assisi in Italy to repudiate “violence in the name of God” amid growing tensions fuelled by fundamentalists across the world.

The day of interreligious council, which will be held on Thursday in St. Francis of Assisi’s birthplace, is intended to be a “journey of reflection, dialogue and prayer for peace and justice in the world,” the Vatican said.

Over 50 Islamic representatives are expected to attend the talks from several countries, including Saudi Arabia and Iran.

They will be joined by Rabbis, Hindus, Buddhists, Jains, Sikhs, a Zoroastrian, a Bahai and representatives of Taoism and Confucianism as well as of other traditional religions from Africa and America.

Not to put much stock in St. Malachi prophecies that the RCC believes in, but this pope would be the one who extends the olive branch of peace to the world. He's also supposed to be the next to last pope that St. Malachi wrote about. The final pope would be Peter the Roman. It's almost as if they have made things fall in place to fit the writings of St. Malachi.Interesting times we live in..

The pope is really busy. He's called for a one-world economy and is working on the one-world church. He's certainly doing his share to get the world ready for the tribulation.

First of all, notice carefully there is no distinction made on which "fundamentalists" are fueling world wide tensions.

Secondly, this is a meeting of the coming False Prophet's congregation.

    Tick tock, tick tock.

Funny you should mention that...Hal Lindsey talked about the exact same thing in his most recent report. I was initially dismayed to hear Hal Lindsey talk so much about St. Malachi, but I do have to agree that it is interesting how events have coincided so neatly.
