I don't think its fair to say that about Obama. Of course he wants to go down in history as someone who did something spectacular, but to understand the implications of having ambitions to be the AC requires understanding the kind of person who manipulates evil, and that would be much more like Hitler or Stalin than Obama. Obama's just not ruthless enough to fit the type.

As for "qualified leader": he can BARELY run this country, let alone a planet. Frankly, I think Satan would do a better job on creating his finest work than the product one would see in Obama.

One other thing: Scripture tells us the world will not see the AC until the restrainer, i.e. the Holy Spirit, is take out of the way. And God won't do that until the Rapture.

I agree with Robert. The man is not smart enough, experienced enough, skilled enough, to run the US properly, let alone the world. The majority of world leaders privately view Obama as an incompetent. Any respect paid him is paid to the office of president of the most powerful nation on earth, not to the man currently occupying the Oval Office.

Obama is the FURTHEST thing from a "masterpiece " I can think of, unless he is a masterpiece of how to be an incompetent foul-up. The AC will seemingly have the answers to stabilize the nations of the world, not run one into the ground. As for "charisma", many now see him for the sad joke he truly is. When the AC is revealed, he will not need a teleprompter in order to address the people.

The books of Isaiah and Daniel paint a specific picture of the Antichrist, and Obama doesn't fit those pictures. He's not a "conquering hero" so much as he is a little boy who got what he wanted but doesn't know what to do with it.

I agree. The man is a joke. Besides, the AC will only be revealed after we are out of here. This is a good thing. It keeps people looking for the return of Christ to gather us to him instead of chasing around corners to look for the potential AC. Remember, Christ said to watch for Him, not for the AC.

From my viewpoint of history, neither Hitler nor any of the mean that you mentioned were considered "jokes". Evil does exist. And the truly evil ones usually possess intelligence as well as charisma. Although, Obama appeared to have a lot of charisma in the beginning, that is even beginning to fail him. And, although I didn't like him, former President Clinton was miles ahead of Obama in intelligence!

Again, we are told to watch for Christ's glorious appearing. Not run around playing "pin the tail on the Anti-Christ".

The AC is not indwelt by the devil until halfway through the tribulation:

"they worshiped the dragon because he gave his authority to the beast; and they worshiped the beast, saying, “Who is like the beast, and who is able to wage war with him? " (Revelation 13:4, NASB)

Until then, the AC doesn't have that power. And if Obama is supposed to be the AC, then Satan aimed very low, and settled for very little.

And just like Obama, each of these men were also declared "the Antichrist" by christians. But they never quite fit the bill.

You can mention all the names you wish, but the fact of the matter is that when the AC appears, there will be NO question as to his Identity. As a point of fact, God has made SURE we will not know who it is until we are raptured; otherwise, we would point him out and star praying holy fire down upon his head!

But the biggest point of all is this: whoever the AC is does not figure into our purpose here, nor are we ever commanded to ascertain his identity. Our marching orders are to preach the gospel to the lost; NOWHERE in the Great Commission are we told to guess who the AC is. As for those left behind, including those who come to Christ during the Tribulation, the will have NO problems finding out who the AC is.

In short: the coming of the AC is necessary to God's plans. We cannot stop it, change it, or abate it. It HAS to happen; he will come, and no one is going to prevent that. He will do all that God has told us he will do, and in the end, he and the false prophet will be thrown into the Lake of Fire.

And Obama is NOT that person.

BTW: knowing that the AC will burn in Hell for his rebellion against God, and that we are to pray for the lost, why would someone wish that upon another human being? Why would we be eager to make someone out as the AC, knowing that in doing so we are saying they are damned without hope? Obama may not be all that bright, but intellect isn't a requirement for God's kingdom. To be frank: none of us deserve heaven, and we are commanded to bring the gospel to people, not seek reasons they should go to hell.

Dont forget that whoever is the AC will be a person possesed by the devil himself, so Obama may appear to be a fool and a buffon but when the AC reveal, dont forget that fact, the Bible says the man of sin, the AC shall be reveal, so far he has not been reveal yet, when the opportunity arises I believe the man of sin, the AC shall be reveal in the person of Obama.
