Reformed UN One World Government

Hello, I am a new user on this board but have been studying end times for quite a few years. I feel that recent developments in the United Nations may indicate that it will transform to be a Global Government, or the the "Beast" governement. I have been closely watching news reports regarding the UN Security Council Refom in particular. Search in Google News, un security council refrom and check some things out. There has been calls from leaders that the UN Security Council should expanded. Currently, there has been a common agreement that nations want 5 more permanent seats on the Security Council. Currently only 5 are permanent and have veto power, and 10 temporary seats. The Bible explains that the final world government will have 7 heads and 10 horns. At first there will be 10 heads and 10 horns, and 3 fall from the antichrist. The UN is trying to add 5 more permanent seats to the council, which are Germany, Japan, Brazil and India and African seat, maybe South Africa. Revalations 17: 10 "There are 7 kings, 5 are fallen" I interpet this to mean the 5 current Permanent members will be no more, but instead 10 will rise and 3 will fall equaling 7. The temporary seats which currently are 10, seem to fit Rev. 17: 12-13, which give there power to the beast, possibly veto power since temporary seats have no veto power. In short, if the UN expands the securty council in the next couple years or sooner it seems, it will equal 10 permanent members and 10 nonperment members, and if 3 fall to one leader then it will be clearer. In addtion, New York City, or America as a whole could be seen as "Mystery Babylon" in my opioin since the UN head Quarters are in New York City, America and the whole world follows the U.S. with respect to economics, and other things such as fashion, music, clothes, movies, and video games that corrupt the world.
Furthermore, I suggest reading Daniel 7: 7, 20, 23-24. These verses entail that 10 kings will intially have power in the last kingdom to rule the earth, and 3 will be subdued by the antichrist. In addition, in Daniel 11: 40 ,44 he talks of a king of the North, South, and East, yet never mentions a King of the West, which may be, not definitively, because the King of the West is reffered to as the Horn that makes war with the saints. Daniel 8: 9-11, which also speaks of the antichrist fighting towards the south and east but his passage does not include the north in this verse. Isnt it striking that the West is left out entirely in Daniel regarding the very end? Well, for these reasons i feel that the antichrist willl come from the west, America in particular. America is leading the new global order under Barack Obama if not apparent to people and america is the leader of Western Powers. Barack Obama does not respect America, which from Daniel 11: 21 "In his estate shall stand up a vile person, to whom they shall not give the honour of the kingdom: but he shall come in peacably, and obtain the kingdom by flatteries." Obama's birth controversy seems similar to this verse... Overall, these are just some thoughts ive been contemplating on. I know alot of people seem to see the EU as the global government, but Im unconvinced about that. I dont necessarily think my ideas are 100% on point, just want to see what other people think. And by the way, I dont take ideas from other people, I just read the bible and do my own news research every now and then.

One stray thought I also had in this area... it appears that English has the dominant position currently in terms of becoming the official universal language. I can't think of another language that has more influence and official status globally - in transportation, science, business etc. Its even the official language of the European Central bank! In my way of thinking, this leads a bit more credence to the idea of the AC coming from the West....

yah that is true, and plus the UN is already a global instituion that covers the entire planet. The recent Nuclear Proliferation Review Conference was calling for Nuke Free Middle East. That could be tied into the 7 Yr convenant, because Ezikiel says that israel will burn their weapons for 7 years. And israel is refusing unless a true peace is established. It seems to tie together. Climate Change, Millenium Goals, Nuclear Disarmanet, Middle East Peace could together apart of the 7 yr treaty. Also, in Daniel it says the antichrist willl forcast devices against the strongholds for a time. That seems like the War in Iraq and Aphfghanistan, or War on Terrorism in general.

there are alot of similarities between the US and the old roman empire
sports in arenas, chariot racing(auto racing), court system similar, both welcome any religions, any race, capital punishment, pledge allegance, best schools, both sat in arenas to watch people hurt each other, govorners, sectors or states

hmmm i'm kind of ignorant of most of this stuff, like the G20. what is the g20?
most people believe the european union is the revived roman empire as well as where the antichrist will come from...where does the EU fit in

G20 is a pretty new group that is made up of the worlds top economies and has been meeting over the last couple years. Obama announced at the last summit that it will replace the G8 for economic issue. And yes most people think the EU is the place where the antichrist will rise but thats not for certain. The United Nations Security Council is the most powerful body in the UN and basically in the world as far as a global coalition. It has 15 members now, 5 permanent members with veto power and 10 non permanent members with no veto power. Lately theres been calls to reform the Security Council and expand the permanent members to 10, and expand the years nonpermanent powers can have their seats. Regarding the G20, i was just speculating that somehow it could be connected to the UN Security Council because the G20 has the worlds top economies and powers, plus nations have been calling for a more representative security council for our time. The bible says that, and im summarizing, the "beast" government will have 10 kings that recieve their power from 10 other less powerful kings, which equals 20. As far as the EU, i dont see it growing into a global power in comparison with the UN which actually covers the whole globe. I dont know if this makes sense to anyone else.

well thanks for the explanation. i've heard G20 mentioned, just didn't know what it was. and i concur about the
possibility of the eu being the global govornment, when the UN already is the global gov.

yep i dont see any compelling evidence of the EU attempting to be a global government. But the UN is attempting to disarm nations, create middle east peace, rid the world of nuclear weapons, strenghting and expand the security council, enforce the icc internation criminal court, create a climte change treaty and things of that nature. I dont know if forsure the UN will be the offical one world governemnt, but i think people should not assume that the EU is and turn a blind eye toward developments in the UN.
