Hi, Tammy! I really enjoyed your post with the little bear coming up out of the teacup. We live in MO, not too far from the Kansas line.
Welcome to the RF board. There isn't as much 'foot traffic' on this board as there is on some of the others, but that's okay with me, 'cause I kinda like it nice and quiet. :)

Lynn, we lived in St. Joseph, MO for the summer a couple of years ago. We were only about an hour away from KC. People were so friendly there!!!! When I was out walking my dog, people driving by would stop to say hello and small talk. I have NEVER lived in such a friendly town. It was like culture shock and took awhile to get used to.

Yes, Tammy, we're not too far from Olathe. In fact, we go to Whole Foods in Overland Park a few times a year. That entire area over there has lots of good stores that aren't readily found anywhere else.
Hi, Kristine. Glad you had such a nice experience during your time in St. Joseph. Missouri is our home for several generations back, so of course, we like living here.
A few years ago, we went to Indian Hills Church in Lincoln to hear Pastor Gil Rugh. His teaching is so solid, and we've ordered some CD sermons of his. While we were in town, we went to the farmer's market on Saturday. Lincoln seems like a nice community, but if anyone moves there, I bet they've really gotta like football.
