Let’s take time to make time
Amidst our hectic, busy day
To show each other we care
By our actions; what we say
Things we consider so small
A listening ear; a kind word
May mean the world to one
Whose voice is barely heard
To have a friend, be a friend
To that hurting soul in need
We may be surprised to find
Through kindness we show
A victim of loneliness freed

That's absolutely so beautiful because it really is true. Taking time to do something so little but yet so important for someone like just listening or saying a kind word to a stranger like "you have a nice smile" really may be a matter of life for them to make it. WE just don't know what some people are going through and to reflect on how Jesus treats us gives us the compassion and love to show others the same kindness.
