Default Hello from Far Eastern TN

I am happy to find this a new forum, and hope I will grow on Ya all. I lurked a few days before deciding to join. So now that I am a member I suppose its time to tell you a little about myself and life? Ok here goes; I am a sometimes nontraditional but bonified (as per brother where art thou comedy and wonderfully funny movie) ordained minister. I own a paper tiger church that supports as a office space to support my christian humanitarian missions. I don't know how long the missions can hold on in these lean times, and may be forced to seek a real job ha ha! I am also a professional photographer, and starving artist. My church does have an outreach ministry and I guest preach at various venues. Our doctrine is strictly bible sourced end time prophesy and such. My avatar which is subject to change often relates to my respect of these mountain folks level of faith when its shown rightly or wrongly by the handling of serpents or drinking deadly poison etc.

The church is called Apocalyptic Bearer Of The Cross Church (ABOTCC) and the missions are the Mountain Manna Mission and the Mission of the Crosses. I tend to be an open theist christian, but am definitely a red letter christian (a believer that relies on the teachings and words of Jesus Christ to form our belief system and worldly paradigm. Any questions about myself or my credentials, such as my Masters Degree in comparative religions and anthropology with emphasis on ancient languages or just general questions will be happily answered, and I look forward in getting to know all of you, and hope to be an asset to your forum~

If you were charged with the crime of being a Christian, would there be enough evidence to convict you?

I would not so modestly answer (yes I am working on my pride and temper) but my answer to your sig would be ; "I would probably be executed I am so obviously guilty, additionally I would probably not make it to trial because before the trial I would be screaming " I'm guilty I'm Guilty for as charged!!!" Ha ha ha...

Come on down or up. I am in the process of dreaming of building a combined church, mission, modest home, and office spaces on the land. I just got everything paid for and for the first time in my life I am debt free. However I don't like to rent money so it might be a while unless I sell my city home, anyway the offer is real to anyone, come on to elizabethton and I will show you all around, thanks for the welcome as well!

Dang is there any mean people here? Thanks anath, the warm words are such a change from the knock down, drag out, bruising, toxic arguments of the last site I came from where atheists stand in line to beat down (with the mods approval) any christian that dares express his belief of the ]the gospels and God. So might have a few gum marks from being in that den of toothless secular lions, but they look worse than I do because I had the armor of God to protect me. Gods armor is way hard on those teeth!
