    Default Hi everyone

Just thought I would say hello to all. Teacher Matt and the rest of the people I have met thus far have been very kind, and that is always a big plus. I guess that's why Christ calls us family, though not all families have quite the same regards.

I am from Grand Rapids, MI hoping to be moving to Cincinnati, OH (well, Norther Kentucky side hopefully) as soon as God permits and His timing comes through.

Have no special skills, only saved by grace, and that is all I need.

    God bless

Hi Stranger, I'm from South Carolina. You don't need to get all formal with Matt/Adrian, he's really cool, cracks jokes with us and everything, besides being our honorary big bro, pastor, whatever, he's always pretty cool.
    Psalm 73:28

28 But as for me, it is good to be near God.
    I have made the Sovereign Lord my refuge;
I will tell of all your deeds.

Thanks for all of the welcomes and such. I probably should not type this, but I will anyway. The first time I tried to become a member, the email address I used, well, this site said that that email was banned from the site. Now whether that was a whole from Mail.com or my personell email, I am not sure, but after having to get a second email address to join, and reading over all of the many do's and dont's, I guess I did feel like I was kind of walking on egg shells, especally, though I do not call them out here, some of my end time doctrines are a little different. I guess I suspected maybe someone knew my email from another site, and banned me because of that, but after thinking about it a little, maybe space ships and aliaens, as well as Big foot, are probably after me right now as well! LOL Paranoya is generally not my thing, but this one did kind have me wondering.

Not to worry, I will follow rules and guide lines with caution, and in some ways, I kind of understand them. Yes, Matt does seem alright, for being the Big Man on campus. LOL

Mat, if you do not mind, unless it is to public, what area of Detroit do you reside? I just really get into maps, and happen to know Detroit quite well. I will still have to google these other locations I am reading about.

Again, thankyou for all your warm welcomes and God bless you all!

Matt's not the "big man on campus", Chris is. If you have any doubts about a potential post, run it past Chris via PM, you'll be surprised at the kindness and wisdom you will find in him. You're in a beautiful forum now, and I hope you come to a much richer understanding in Jesus Christ together with the rest of us.

Thanks for answering, Meg. I just saw our new brother's last post in this thread and saw the error he had made. Stranger, I am just one of the workers here. Chris indeed is the BMOC. It is his vision, and his unceasing hard work that has made RF possible. Were it not for Chris and for BuzzardHut, there would be no RF.

Hey, thanks for clearing that up, Meg and Mat.

I am as far from knowing all the answeres as I ever have been, and even with some of my pre concieved ideas, which mean nothing in comparison to our relationship with Christ and the way we live our life, for no one knows who will be around tomorrow, I have my eyes and ears more open now than I ever have in the past. God changes us, from the inside out, and that is for sure.

    God bless

I don't know if we have all the answers, although a few folks around here have nice collections. But one thing we are good at is asking questions, and good questions tend to give openings to good answers. That makes RF a great place to grow, and many of us have grown a lot in the Lord through the discussions that get going around here. So welcome to Rapture forums, we're glad to know you!

Welcome Stranger, from the swampy lands of South Louisiana. Great to have ya here.

Please don't feel like you're walking on "egg shells". Share your mind, your heart. If you come up with "something" not quite right for the forum, our moderators here are truly a God send. Just PLEASE allow yourself to be part of the "family". And, before too long, you won't be a "stranger" at all. Spending eternity together kind of removes the "stranger" bit.

Adding my also, Stranger. There's great fellowship here, and great learning also.

There are some here such as MattFiveFour, Robert, Chris, BuzzardHut, Suzanne, Glenn, as well as many others who are much further along in their walk with the Lord. And we all seem to learn from each other.

I believe in God's eyes we are all equal; no Big Kahunas, just some who are more grounded in the Scriptures. And thank God they are more than willing to share their knowledge.

Don't worry about walking on egg shells, you've got to break some eggs to make an omelet. Also, don't get uptight about making a mistake. The wise learn from their mistakes, the fool insists upon defending them!
Ephesians 5:18 (New King James Version)

18 And do not be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation; but be filled with the Spirit,

I Come To The Garden Alone Hymn

And He walks with me, and He talks with me,
    And He tells me I am His own;
And the joy we share as we tarry there,
    None other has ever known.

Being a writer defines who I am; it’s what I enjoy doing. What I write demonstrates my love for Jesus Christ, and thankfulness for the incomparable gift of His salvation.

Hey, thanks again for the advese and warm welcomes. I do feel a little more at ease. I am sure I will learn alot from this site and the family who is on it.

to RF!! I live in the 'weather-can't decide-what-it-wants-to-do' beautiful state of Ohio!!!
Beautiful is right. Central, NE, NW, SE, or SW. My grandma use to live in Chauncy, just a little north of Athens, a town of which I would rather not move LOL, though it works for some.

from the swampy lands of South Louisiana
Now as close as I have came to swamps is Savanah, GA. I guess I like to keep my feet on dry ground LOL. (Not to mention the gators)

And, before too long, you won't be a "stranger" at all. Spending eternity together kind of removes the "stranger" bit.
Thanks, I am feeling a little less like a stranger already.

But one thing we are good at is asking questions,
    Good, me too!

Don't worry about walking on egg shells, you've got to break some eggs to make an omelet
The saying of the day LOL.

It has been interesting hearing of all the different places ya all live. If anyone cares to go public with their town, I would get a kick out of it. I love to explore new places, just not in person, yet. I tend to believe when we all get to heaven, there will be plenty of time for exploring and plenty of things to explore, but nothing can compare to the Master Piece. Now we think the sun is bright, but just wait till we see Jesus in His full glory,

Thanks again, you all, I think I will find myself spending some time here for sure.
